Everybody has been wondering why Romney won't hsare his tax returns

We've been led to beleive he is embarrassed about how much he pays. it's too low apercnetage right?

well, i was doing some diggin and found that mayor Bloomberg made a 50% gain in his net worth during the economic meltdown.

Now, don't get me wrong, i'm a Capitalist, and i think making money is fine. But you do have to wonder how he made so many good moves when the market was imploding:

n March 2012, Forbes reported Bloomberg’s wealth at $22 billion, ranking him 20th in the world and 11th in the United States. In March 2009, Forbes reported Bloomberg's wealth at $16 billion, a gain of $4.5 billion over the previous year, enjoying the world's biggest increase in wealth in 2009.

i got to thinking that MAYBE Romney enjoyed a large gain like this too... now that WOULD make people wonder about him.... and it would show up on his tax returns....

Glass that could be the reason. I really don't know why he won't reveal his returns, there is only one reason that makes sense. It is there is something Romney wants to hide.

i dont thinks returns would show anything illegal.Prolly just taking advantage of loopholes and shelters. Something that the uber rich do all the time. Hell, I take advantage of everything I can, tax wise.

Perhaps its really nobody's business what is on their tax returns.

only if you are hidding something.

So thats how you view personal information? Figures.

Why dont you post your tax returns on here Ray? You keep on wanting to look at someone elses.

I guess i don't get it, maybe the candidates are required to show their tax returns or there is some unwritten party law, but why would anyone want others to know their own personnal information?

I know i would like mine protected more.

You know their never going to look good to the other party anyhow.

It seems politics are all about cutting each others throats, like i said previously, to bad it's not about our nation.

I am not running for president thats why.

And when I first went to work for the state I did have to show tax returns.

As far as Romney goes for the job he is running for it is in the tradition of the office that one does make public his tax returns. I can't think of a president in my time period that has not. It shows that you have nothing to hide. Romney does have a wife that has some back bone he can always have her do it for him. Until Romney finds a butcher to sell him some guts

Who cares what his tax returns look like good grief. If there was some kind of fraud or something like that then it would be an issue, but im sure he has the best tax attorneys and accountants that money can buy so its probably going to be squeaky clean. The real reason you and the others on the left want them so badly is to criticize his wealth. [Were Down]

cash, have you ever "applied" for a job in your life? i'm not talking about one at MCyD's or at the Army recruiter, i'm talking about a real job wher you are responsible for handling large sums of othr peoples money for instance? you know like being president of anything?

you do know that a credit report is standard for any job requiring a background check...

been thru a few of thema nd tax returns are only the start...

BTW? i am interested in WHO the HELL made all the moeny that was NOT LOST inthe econonomic.

you and about 270 milllion other Americans aren't smart enough to even ask that question...

most of the ones wh oare are YOUR OVERLODRS cashcowmoo and you are happy they are...

somehow their very existence gives you hope that you will scratch off that winning lottery ticket and find yourself living among them.. the sad part is that they WOULD welcome you with open arms, for as long as it take them to strip you of your shirt... sheeesh...

Romney willbe the only president elected in long long time without sharing them if he's elected, and anybody who votes for him without them is a fool.

Anybody that votes for the lying, flip-flopping, out of touch, silver spoon fed little rich boy, whether or not he discloses his returns, is a fool

In fact...voting for either of the two clowns that have been "nominated" by the 5 largest banks in the world...is foolish

yeah but we have to vote, otherwise they think you don't care.. is there going to be a 3rd party candidate on th eballot?

LOL... cash, just keep being insipid why dontcha...

i've figured out a hellofalot more than you have, and i know how much i don't know, which is alot more than i do know.

point is? if romney made a bundle on it like bloomberg did? he won't be getting too many votes form the anti-bailout people who like to see people starve...

bloomberg made a 1/3 total personal net gain after taxes on an economic crash in one single year.... that would make him one of the "bad guys" no matter who you ask if you only ask...

that 1/3 AFTER TAX net means he did a 50% gain on toatla net worth, and nobody puts all thier money in the game, so he most likely only risked 1/4 to 1/3 of his net and that means he would have had to do over 100% gain in one year of a crisis- not electable in anyones book if they just ask...

Bullchit Glass...there are better ways to spend your energy...voting in a "rigged" election sends the message to the elitists that you still believe that one side or the other is your "pal" and therefore they look at you as one of the fools.

I myself ran for one of the open precinct delegate spots in my county this year and won...now I actually have a voice to determine who gets nominated next time around...

I believe my time was better spent doing that, as opposed to "voting" in a rigged election

glassman - posted
good, i am glad to hear that... i'm not going to win any elections myself, esp here in MS, .... but yes, that is a much better way to make a difference...

Anymore they seem to be requiring so much and even for low paying jobs.

It gets harder and harder for certain classes of people to have a chance in the job market because of this, let alone the lack of jobs.

I feel the same way as you, everyone else seems to feel one of these guys is worth voting for.

Hopefully for this countries sake they are right and we are wrong and some how we missed something in their creditials.

Unfortuantly nobody has sold me yet, but we still have a few days and i am sure it will get more heated before the election.

The big boys know they got us, just like they got us with the gas prices.
