i've watched the clip of Hillary warning the N Koreans not to launch several times now.

her facial expressions are all "wrong" for someone scolding someone else...

to me, she looks like th ecat that ate th ecanary...

that could mean two compleatly diferrent things to me.

th efirst is that she's uncomfortables playing th ehardazz, (LOL) not her..

second.. we have a response planned and it's going to be good [Big Grin]

Planned response? You mean like maybe shooting it down? That would be something! [Eek!]

from what i've read? we have a number of countermeasures tahat should work...

the navy is prolly arguing with eairforce right now over whether we go with a couple of F-22's or the aegis SM3R

response with the threat of actually trying (again) to get the un to enforce restrictions imo. A pen and a piece of paper. Weak. I wont hold my breath.

We promised hundreds of tons of food aid if they wouldnt launch it. I am tired of being blackmailed...it was really bad under Bill Clinton. Its like how we paid insurgent leaders cold hard cash to not fight us, while they took the money to fight us on more fronts, and we kept giving them money.

90 seconds? sounds to me like the eairfoce got the nod...

the F22 is mostly invisible to any radar, and was prolly waiting for it and got it before it even picked up any speed...

it is also psossible that we had installed a stuxnet like 'puterbot into their control program [Big Grin]

It could also be that the rocket was made in North Korea and that they have crap for technology.

I tend to think that the smaller the evidence of tampering the better. I would guess a computer virus at most.

I do agree though that the nuke test is more likely now.

you guys are just plain no fun...

the F22 is actually actually a mini awacs, and fighter and bomber... It has the abiltiy to do exactly what i suggested.

i do know that is invisble to radar for instance until it opens its gun ports and fires it's 20 MM cannons -those ports- which are only inches across -is what will show up on radar.

furthermore, the F22 lost most of it's funding and when you are looking for reasons to increase funding? this is how you do it. you prove concept.Aegis is proven tech... i could not find reference to any jets eve having shot down an ICBM (that's what this was) before now, and of course ti would be years before they admit they did this (if ever)....
i do know that we use 20MM cannons in the Navy for missile defense, the system can take out missiles, and the F22 could have done this with a less than 1 square foot radar image showing up to our enmies..

the biggest drawback to the F22's is their cost and that includes cost to maintain. not just build... on th eother end? they have a gaming calculated kill ratio of 144 to one.... those gaming ratios are brutally derived, it's not fluff... that means they will eliminate 144 targets before they buy the dirt... and that is one of the most versatile and impressive tactical weapons ever made.

anythign could have happened, but i watched Hillaries face, and she was grinning like th ecat that ate the canary when she warned them not to try it..
