This was a failure from the get go. Even before it was officially formed they knew what the outcome was most likely to be....what a side show.

if these politicians signed a pledge to this man, and are honoring this pledge over their oaths of office, shouldn't trials for treason be appropriate?

Agreed...Super Committee was doomed from the start because regardless of whether they have a D or an R in front of their names, our entire congress is full of corrupt, incompetent fools incapable of writing legislation that is not based on future political funding...Until $ is out of politics we are destined for more of the same...

the Bush tax cuts were supposedly done to "stimulate" the economy...

they worked real well huh?

they need to be done away with for everybody. tomorrow.

4 Trillion dollar reduction to the deficit to remove the Bush tax cuts.

When it comes to actually cutting programs they can't agree on how to remove even 25% that much.

Program cuts should happen but we are not going to remove the deficit without new revenues. (Or should I say...OLD revenues...12 years isn't exactly forever.)
