Same old thing, but more expenses for average workers year after year.
What is stopping those "average workers" from being their own CEOs? I have always wondered why if they are overpaid then their job must be pretty easy like they say...you know sit around and do nothing. So then the average worker should be able to become one in their own organization or be self made....if they really wanted to at least.

some people(most) are worker bees...not eveyone can be a Queen bee.They dont have it in them. You need to understand that. Werent you just a grunt? Why werent you a four star general?.Should you be punished for being average? its the "average" worker that gets the job done. You really cant understand that???? seems pretty basic to me.

No I understand what you mean Jordan, I understand there needs to be worker bees. However, if you are a worker bee then dont complain about some Queen having it.
We cracked jokes on superior officers pay all the time, but deep down I knew if I wanted that pay I could have it. I just didnt want that, I liked the grunt life even though I hated it at times.
I took my pay, wish I had more, but didnt really hold it against others if they made more than me.

I could not figure where to start so i combined your statements.
Maybe you have to be a queen bee to be head CEO of many of these large corporations, breed into it... in a sense
No CashCooMoo most people do not have the money to be able to afford a chance at being a profitable business, many live day to day as prices keep soaring.
I am sure you must of researched the Time and Money allocation that is needed to be a profitable business, unless you get real lucky this rules out many that look at starting a business if there being realistic.
These CEO's use these workers knowing they live day to day on paychecks and do not give back to anyone in general except their other close Queen bee's in the corporation, this has been discussed many times on this board.
Then when these Queen Bee's fail these same workers have to pay again as we have seen in the bailouts oh so recently, as more and more banks continue to fail.
You are seeing what is happening in other countries where these bigger queen bee's have gone overboard.
You sure seem to have a short memory of your military life, as i looked at your last statement and remember back some of your statements.
As far as me being a four star general, i don't think i could get there in a year and nine months, i guess i could have got a field commission to a four star general but that would be rather unlikely.

let's take a look at the Golden Age of Growth in the US:
the 50's and 60's...
taxes were as high as 90% on the "wealthy".. people like Ronald reagan the actor and CEO's were paying more because they COULD, the 'average worker cannot pay any meaningful taxes because the CEO's want profi,t and their profit comes from whatever money the average actually has to spend....
look at this graph:
it seems to show that America was much more productive whn CEO's were not paid as highly.
maybe because when aCEO makes so much money in just one year that he really doesn't have to work anymore if he doesn't want ot? he doesn't really work? taking hihger taxes from hm means he has to work an extra few years to save that nest egg too?
but lets get to the most important point, that's the fact that a CEO can only take that pay by NOT i repeat NOT! paying it to employees. Hence the CEO's real job to make such a high paycheck is to make more money from fewer workers. CEO's LOVE it when they can scare people into wroking ever harder for fear of losing their job and not getting a new one like we have right now.
in the end? the CEO "club" is in it's best position in times of high unemployment and a bad economy. of course they don't want a full fledged depression, but they do want the economy to be a tight as they can make it.
one more thing.you show me a CEO who built a company from scratch? and i'll agree that they deserve every penny of their pay. But, having knonw more than a few of those people? I can tell you that they didn't even do it for the money.

This does not surprise me at all. If its good for working people it is communism,works of satan,or just plain disgusting and wrong.
If it is huge compensation of profits or being granted a tax windfall to the wealthy. It comes with the complete blessing of society.
