I dont know about this one. It is 50/50. If the voters decide who stays in, then why do terms matter? Then again, it could turn into something ugly.

My problem is people who want to change the constitution because of things they want.

How are you ever going to get a President out of office if there are no term limits? Sure Bush would have not gotten a 3rd term. However, 8 years is enough of one president.

This is just Obamabots drunk off kool aid to keep him in power forever.

I'm not much on term limits for any position, as it seems to defy the fundamental premise of democracy that the governmental offices are determined by the choice of the people.

That isn't to say that I am against them either.

I am not really for or against term limits. We live in a Democracy and the people should be able to vote into office whomever the majority votes for, which would mean no term limits. But then there is the issue of tampering with the constitution, changing one amendment would set a precident that should probably not happen, which would be for term limits. An interesting question.

Getting rid of term limits would be a mistake.

I agree with this. Look what happens when you don't have term limits, people find ways to stay in office until they are barely alive. We've seen this before. Congressman John Conyers (born 1929) was on the radio yesterday and sounded like a dotard. I bet he can barely fog a mirror. He has accomplished a lot but he needs to retire.
