At first, I thought this troupergate stuff was probably a big misunderstanding. Then, with the issuing of supeonias, witnesses started admitting that there was at least some amount of pressure put on the guy to fire the ex-brother-in-law.
Still, I figured it couldn't be any sort of serious legal problem, because it didn't make sense that the republican campaign would have allowed such a problem slip by. Now, with this obvious stonewalling, I have to accept that I was wrong and there must be serious shenanigans in troupergatge or the republican campaign would have gotten any dirty details out in time to let the odor blow away in the wind before the election.

C'mon bdgee, you expect Obama to never have done anything to his advantage in his rise to power? CHICAGO politics? Politics is a two way street. What I don't understand is why more people on this board aren't for Ron Paul. That's who I would've vote for this year if it would have happened.

CCW,
You have made it clear that you will allow any sort of statement or activity from any republican. No doubt, the last time you had any thought that was directed toward having an open mind on politics was way long ago in the past?
I never said or implied anything to suggest that Obama is perfect, either in his private life or his political one, so, please, get off the indignant soap box, as if I had. {I do not expect or desire perfection, of any kind, in a candidate or of an office holder. Indeed, one that claims to be perfect has already failed in at least one of the most important characteristics of all....either being honest or being human enough to appreciate the concerns of the rest of us. We certainly can't stand another dufus like dubya or one that lies to us like he has. Note that he attempts to assure us how perfect he is.....a dead give away.)
I am a Texan. I have known of Ron Paul and his deeds and misdeeds longer and deeper than you have. Here is a pol whose misdeeds are neither few nor minor.
There is a good chance you can still vote for him as a running mate for Bob Barr.
