Since in America we vote, I will tell Mach I am wrong on this subject if there are a majority of votes not in favor of my beliefs on this topic. here's the question. Does seeing spanish written everywhere offend you in any way? press 1 for yes press 2 for no

I'm looking around my office, and checked when I went out to lunch, and I don't think I saw spanish written anywhere. I guess if I saw Spanish written everywhere I'd probably assume I was in mexico or Spain, in which case I probably wouldn't be offended. Unless the spanish writing all said "Pcola is a a**hole". then I might be.

Not really. Braile is everywhere too, but it's just dots so we don't really even notice.
Besides, learning a second language (especially when you are older) is tough. And English is just about the worst. Do you know how many exceptions to the literary rules there are in American English? Much easier to learn the 8 tenses in Spanish.

But Bigfoot the blind have no choice, you have to cater to them. Cater isn't the word but they need a way to read. Which brings up a great point....... do they have braille in spanish in the US. Probably not but I'm sure they will shortly.

Companies will market to their consumers and hopeful consumers. Our population is increasingly Spanish speaking. It is simple logic that sooner or later products would have Spanish on them. Can't say this irritates me. Government mandating that we the people speak one language or another would induce some sort of inflammatory reaction though. I think, jgrecoconstr, that you should just go ahead and admit to Mach that you are a racist pig and get it over with. He can tell you he has a dream and you can wonder why we all can't just get along. Then of course.. hug time.
