Bush's first press secretary:

"History appears poised to confirm what most Americans today have decided -- that the decision to invade Iraq was a serious strategic blunder...What I do know is that war should only be waged when necessary , and the Iraq war was not. Waging an unecessary war is a grave mistake. But in reflecting on all that happened during the Bush administration, I've come to believe that an even more fundamental mistake was made -- a decision to turn away from candor and honesty when those qualities were most needed."

duh....

interestingly? when Mclellan resigned, and Bush tapped Fox "News" person Tony Snow? Tony demanded that he not be "left out of the loop like Mclellan" ....

i suspect you'll find that after Bush leaves office? a few more people will write these and paint Dubya as a little boy trying to outdo his daddy...

i forgot all about Ari Fleischer, he was really Dubya's first press secretary.

while he never publicly admitted it? he was publicly embarassed several times for "being out of the loop" too...

when Fleischer quit? here's what was said about Mclellan:
McClellan has been Fleischer's top deputy, and is one of a handful of senior White House officials whose service to Bush dates back to his days as Texas governor. He is well liked and trusted by the president, and is close as well with White House Communications Director Dan Bartlett, another member of what others on the White House staff call "the Texas Mafia."

Dan Bartlett has had some pretty harsh things to say about Mclellan today as aresult of the book...

Most of our politicians are just a bunch of hypocrites. They take our young people send them off to war and put their lives on the line day after day, creating chaos among their families and destroying others to help further their own careers and bank accounts.

We are not even done with this war and they talk the talk about how this war is not right but have chosen to do nothing to stop this war Except Talk.

Don't get me wrong many of these politicians go through all the necessary jestures and steps to convince us the voters that they are doing all they can to end this war.

In reality these politicians could have impeached this president long ago if they did not like his decisions but instead decided not to do anything about it for fear it might come back to bite them, or they would lose some of the income that they were getting as a result of the war.

All these lives that have been turned upside down because of this war and it appears we will show basically nothing for these soldiers lives and their commitment to this nation.

I think most politicians have benefited one way or the other from this war.

I hope that the one's that are benefiting monetarily by books etc. choke on their blood money.

Maybe if Karl Rove had given Bush a BJ in the Oral Office and saved the Suit as evidence he would of been impeached. Then our tax dollars really would of been put to good use lol [Were Up] As for War Profiteering, you mean Cheney and his thugs at Halliburton and elswhere? [Roll Eyes]

All of these books are written for one reason and only one reason, MONEY!

This clown is writing that he didn't know anything while things were going on around him.
Then it comes time to write a book and his memory kicks in and he has explict recall.
There's nothing new here.

Sounds like a Presidents memoir.

Should have impeached old flight suit a long time ago.

At least started the process and let as much dirt come out on flight suit.

It would be good for the American people even if he beat the impeachment process it would have slowed this fascist pig down.
