I get "you reap what you sow" you negligent bazturd. Sure, I missed some games and plays and recitals--but not many. Here's what way too many Dads don't get: You don't have to be "perfect." You don't have to be able to "explain everything." But you DO need to show up and BE THERE. Divorced? New girlfriend? New boyfriend? No job? New raise? Whatever... be there.
