I found it amusing that someone said this as a comment after the article on the bottom:

Report This! Hey, maybe we should get the Italians to find Osama bin Laden!"

Basically the Italians have been able to capture mafia dons that have been fugitives for decades yet we can't capture Bin Laden in a country that we have surrounded with our military... so some AOL member commented at the bottom after the article that we should get the Italians to go after Bin Laden for us lol Try this link for the article:

Bin Laden is somewhere in Pakistan protected by Pakistani secret service officers loyal to him and Taleban. Either that or he is dead.

Pakistan/Musharrah appeases us with raids on terrorists camps, hideouts etc. that are small potatoes compared to Bin Laden to make it look good and to be on our good graces... much like other "dictators" like sadaam, noriega and countless other "allies" since the end of WW2 have done till they no longer serve our needs then we call them dictators and such that are a threat to national or world security.. that is when we invade... Both Bush's have done this so far...

Musharraf Releases Top Taliban Official in Custody
Rick Moran
Does Pakistani President Pervez Musharraf have a death wish?

While cracking down on lawyers, dissidents, and human rights activists by throwing them in jail, Musharraf has opened the back door to his prisons and allowed several Taliban their freedom - including the notorious Mullah Obaidullah Akhund, number 3 in the group's hierarchy and a member of its ruling 10-man shura (council)

and last year?

US outraged as Pakistan frees Taliban fighters

By Isambard Wilkinson in Peshawar
Last Updated: 1:54am BST 15/09/2006

Pakistan's credibility as a leading ally in the war on terrorism was called into question last night when it emerged that President Pervez Musharraf's government had authorised the release from jail of thousands of Taliban fighters caught fighting coalition forces in Afghanistan.

Five years after American-led coalition forces overthrew the Taliban during Operation Enduring Freedom, United States officials have been horrified to discover that thousands of foreign fighters detained by Pakistan after fleeing the battleground in Afghanistan have been quietly released and allowed to return to their home countries.

Pakistani lawyers acting for the militants claim they have freed 2,500 foreigners who were originally held on suspicion of having links to al-Qa'eda or the Taliban over the past four years.

with allies like Musharref who needs enemies? [Roll Eyes]

Some one explain a couple of things for me.

1) Why is is un-democratic for Musharref to serve as his country's CEO and the head of its military and not undemocratic for dubya to be our president and the Commander in chief?

2) Why is it evil for Musharref to have suspended Pakistan's constitution and it is alright for dubya to have done exactly the same thing? (At least Musharref showed the honor, decency, and respect for those that don't agree with hiom to do it with a formal announcement, rather than by secret signing statements and absurd rulings by a crooked AG and "selected" court appointees.)

because their constitution forbids it.

Musharref has suspended the Paki Supreme Court when they ruled against him.
Bush on the other hand just goes around the Supreme Court as much as possible by relying on his Atty General's (questionable) advice on what's legal and what'snot.

Ashecrof quit Dubya cuz he couldn't stand what was going on.

bdgee - posted
Yes, and if it stinks too much for Ashcroft's (a guy that, made skirting the Constitution before he became AG an art) taste sick of it all, imagine what all he must have seen that is kept from the public eye.
