"The change is the result of a chain reaction started by a 2005 deficit-reduction bill that focused on Medicaid, the main federal health insurance program for the poor. College health officials say they had little idea the bill would affect them."

Just more republican "big brotherism" at work. Where do thise fools get off claiming they are for less government?

What they really want is government control of your religion, your politics, and your body, just for starters, then.......

Remember the Halderman ethic, "When you've got 'em by the balls, their hearts and minds will follow."

It is clear that Ramius was never a starving college student doing without food in order to buy text books.

It is further clear he has no concern whatsoever for anyone without money.

Condoms are a hell of a lot cheaper than birth control and hey no prescription.

You know what is cheaper than condoms, abstinence.

Yeah, and not eating is cheap too.

Unnatural and deadly, but cheap.

Your right, I don't know what it's like to be a starving college student, but I do know what it's like to do without. For several years as a child my mom raised three kids while waiting tables at Shoney's.

Unbelievable.. trying to make a dig at Christianity?? over my feeling that horny college kids should quit crying over an extra $12, on something that is generally non-essential.(yes, I know that there are some medical reasons for taking birth control.

Non-essential for you, maybe... [Big Grin]

In college, I survived for 3 years basically on Roman Noodles, bought condoms and did just fine.

Gordon Bennett - posted
So abstinence didn't do it for you, then?

urnso77 - posted

Yours is not a feeling, just a rant.

So all the gals you used up that case of condoms on in college were "nice girls?"
