"I've seen some of the planning ... You're not talking about a surgical strike," said Wayne White, who was a top Middle East analyst for the State Department's bureau of intelligence and research until March 2005.
"You're talking about a war against Iran" that likely would destabilize the Middle East for years"

There is no doubt in my mind that Bush wants to hit Iran for a lot of reasons.
Mostly he knows that if he does not Iraq will never really be pacified. Just because of Irans current anti west agenda.
Baker was very smart when he said get them on your side make them an a friend out of mutual benifit.
And at this time I don't think Bush can sell a plan of mid east expansion of the war to America.Unless his bag of dirty tricks has been filled up by Rove with a master piece beyound beliefe.

I myself, imho, believe that Iran is going to get in the middle of this fight some how and eventually.
I don't see how they can stay out of it.
We do have a window here that won't stay open forever . Simpley put we can for this period of time some what control how they come in. Which would be to our advantage to do so.
After that if we want to control everythiong using the military we will need much more than the 92,000. more troops that Bush wants to recruit.
