Zimbabwe- President Robert Mugabe’s government announced a plan on Tuesday to “nationalize” all Zimbabwean farmland. More than 5,000 White farmers have been forced to leave, many butchered and raped by the savage blacks.

Title deeds to all productive land (meaning land run by Whites who can actually make something grow on it, rather than the blacks who could be handed a lush farm and would manage to turn it into a desert) will be canceled and replaced with a 99 year state issued leases. This was reported in the state run Herald newspaper.
“In the end all land shall be state land and there shall be no such thing as private land,” Land Reform Minister John Nkomo said.
Since 2000, the government has been brutally stealing farms from White farmers. Many cases of murder and rape have been ignored by mainstream media.
See http://www.africancrisis.org/default2.asp for more information.
Zimbabwe, was once a regional breadbasket, it now suffers shortages of food, hard currency, gasoline and other imports. United Nations crop forecasters predict the country will produce only half its food needs this year.
Mugabe, argues redistribution is needed to redress British colonial injustices, when much of the best farmland was settled by whites.
What Mugabe fails to see is that without Whites the land will turn back to the jungle it was before Europeans claimed it and made the mistake of using blacks from neighboring areas for help.
About 200,000 black families have been allocated land under the government program. Ask anyone who has visited the area. One friend who recently made a business trip there was quoted as saying “it’s a mad house, a horror show of things to come, you will see hospitals abandoned, with million dollar equipment sitting there unmanned with grass growing through the floor, because the people who know how to run it have been murdered or ran off. High-rise office buildings are abandoned with squatters living inside making fires in the buildings. Farms who have been taken by the murdering mobs are often destroyed by the blacks who killed the White farmers, eating the livestock and destroying equipment.”
Nkomo said that the government did not intend to “waste time and money” in disputes with farmers whose land had been seized, regardless of what legal documents they held.
“Ultimately all land shall be resettled as state property,” he said.
While the government blames poor production on lack financial resources, seed, fertilizer, fuel and farm machinery. This is simply untrue. The genetic material left to tend the farms is nor sufficient, it never has been in thousands of years, and stealing what Whites have built today wont change that a bit.

Looks that way but where is the outcry of injustice? Why no U.N. troops? What happened to all those dope smoking musicians demanding Mandella's release and so called freedom for South Africa? Did'nt we drop bombs in Bosnia for this sort of thing? Im sure if we are patient enough Kofi Annan will issue a statement and call for an end to all of the injustice just don't hold your breath

How dare you present information that hurts the reputation of Blacks!

You are suppose to love the poor oppressed creatures and only say nice things about them.

We need to send money to Africa to feed them and medically care for them. True this will help them to better kill each other (and kill the white minority) but that is not our concern - we must do what we can to help them no matter how much this is wasted.

Thank God for the UN and shame on you for telling the truth. You need to think less in terms of the truth, and think more in politically correct terms, you racist you! Racists always think in terms of the truth, which is one way to identify a racist.

Art,

I am impressed, but you are one hell of an instigator! Followed some of your comments on another thread. LOL

What gets me is comments that we were stingy with tsunami contributions. Yet, when we had all the hurricanes in Fla., etc. with damages in what I seem to remember were in the $billions, who the hell sent us money and/or assistance?

Don't think this sort of thing can't happen here we are being invaded by our southern neighbor right now. Once they have a majority in this country you can forget the diversity ideals that have been ramed down our necks for years they will slowly but surely take over

It is a outrages but we tend to forget to that these white farmers are from decendants that came over and stole there land and enslaved there people. But does two wrongs make a right, of course not but to sound like the white people are angels isn't true either.

Yeah, I have met quite a few white Africans, many have a distorted view of reality- they viewed blacks as subhuman. It was kind of sad, actually.

Yes, the land was stolen. Does it make what the gov't is doing to them right? Not necessarily. But the continent has bigger problems than this to worry about- it is a mess.

how many generations does it take to make land NOT STOLEN?

it's all been stolen at some point in history...

show me peaceful aboriginals, and i'll show you dead natives...

Good point Glassman how much land have we stoled from animals?? Should we give it back too? The point I'm trying to make is that the international media and the U.N. are ignoring this. If it was white on black you would see a U.N. hit squad swoosh down and bomb everything in sight much like Bosnia. This just proves that a revolution is nothing more than a transfer of power from one corrupt group to another and a cry for civil rights is nothing more than one side trying to pull more support for their cause

i know Sarge, you and i agree on a lot of things, but not everything...what's new?

i don't like the current US immigration policies of looking the other way and ignoring ILLEGAL behaviour....

the situation in Africa is a freaking mess, and the US didn't make it..the European colonials did...

i think we need to make assistance available to OTHERS with real needs, and make them pay US back not forgive loans....if they don't want to be our ally, then let'em rot...(children fall into a different category)
the tsunami situation is an opportunity for US to show good-will to to the NEXT generations..i have little hope for adults that have become our enemies...

the UN IMO,is not supposed to be a governing council, just a meeting place...but if anybody signs a treaty then they should stick with it....
