I just had an idea, don't know if there would be a specific board for this type of thing, but here it is:

- People get news on companies in their local area more detailed and earlier than others.

Me, being in Minnesota already have,

3M
General Mills
Guident
Medtronic
Pillsbury
Best Buy

The list goes on and on. But there are some smaller companies that seem to be doing well, that I would not have even heard of if I didn't live here.
