Hey, I'm new to this, I have some questions I'd like to have answered so I can move forward with the whole learning process.

From looking in the under $0.10 stock forum, I see alot of people saying things in the format such as "024x026 3x1" and ".018 (4) X .02 (5)" what does this mean? I don't understand what people tpye that for.

Secondly, I'm using Scottrade, does anyone know if they require you to call them for all pinksheet stock trades?

and last, looking at stock http://finance.yahoo.com/q?s=RBID.PK for example, how come there is no bid/ask price? What do I do to find out how much I can buy/sell it for?

Thanks.

sorry, can't "speed it up," lol

specifically, you're asking about: bid/ask and MM's bloc sizes; Scottie's reaction to hi-jacked accounts; and one-legged pinks, ie, unsolicited.

search the reference thread for newb, please. Or simply click on "General Investing topics"

They are typing how many MM's are on the bid and ask...They are watching the level 2's..(4 MM's) are on the bid at .018 and 5 MM's are on the ask at .02

No they don't require it every time...but if there is allot of attention on a certain stock...such as huge trades then some brokers will ask that you call in...just to protect you

Sounds like it is a grey sheet stock...and there are no MM's creating a bid or ask for this stock...usually with these...it's easiest to just place a market order...but it is usually BEST to stay away from them...the company is under suspension of some sort...and they haven't cleared it up...hense why they trade on the greys...

also..check you pm..I sent you a long "list" with info and links... for the learning...
