I seem to recall that a few months ago someone asked if there were a place to get realtime gold prices, but I cannot recall who it was or what thread the question was asked in. I too have been looking for the same thing, and until my recent discovery, I had been using the GLD ticker through E-TRADE to get an approximate "realtime" gold price.
I did a search for the thread this question was asked in but too many results came up for "gold prices" so I figured I'll just post it here and hopefully that person will run across this thread.
Unfortunately, you have to restart the feed every 10 minutes, but this beats being 15 minutes behind when you use Kitco.com. You can also adjust the period, chart type, and currency the price is displayed in.
