Got 8K to invest may split between 2 long Term 3 years or so.

Been considering the following;

GOOG
DELL

Would like good yearly dividends...

Or may be a China Banks or building construction companies if anyone could recommend one that is traded in the US ?

Also how will the dollar do against the Euro over the next few years ?

I Know these are crystal ball questions but any advise is welcome .......

I would probably suggest Oil companies since the trend seems to be higher gas and oil prices and that constitutes higher profits for the oil companies... but do not just look at oil companies such as BP, Exxon etc.. also look at the companies that service the oil industry.. right now I am keeping a eye on HC ... if it breaks through $19.00 per share i will buy some "test" shares to see how it performs and perhaps add more shares if it does good...
