I have a question for those of you that have been trading penny stocks for several years.

How well do pennies track the overall market? If we enter a recession are penny stocks going to follow as well?

Thanks

Loaded Question, But i say yes. When things go up in price your play around money is gone. no player no payers.

I would say for the most part that Pennies have none of the characteristics of the main market. The MM's control, for the most part, the rise and fall of most pennies, whereas supply and demand rule the general exchange stocks.

Good earnings/news will propel any company, ragardles of where traded, but I think pennies are a animal all to themselves, with manipulation a key ingredient.

That's what 25 years in the market tells, at least.

Thank for the replies. I suspect that BULListic is right. Who knows. I full on recession and people won't have money to sepculate on pennies either I guess.
