im switching from Scottrade to TDAmeritrade to reduce my commissions by about $10. Any cool features i should check out when i finally get this sucker started in about 3-4 days? (certaintly a necessary break after JPHC *phew*) -Cow

I pay only about $7-8 per trade with Scottie... How can you reduce that by $10?

SCOTTSTRADE FINE PRINT: "For stocks priced under $1, add 1/2% of the principal value to the commissions shown."
$2,000 = $10 + $7 $10,000 = $50 + $7
TDAmeritrade, ftw.
$2,000 = $9.99 $10,000 = $9.99
Talk about a scam! If Scottrade was legit, they'd show it in big print, not fine print, in a 4pt font!!
Heck, even Etrade is cheaper than Scottstrade.

I don't know about you but i clearly see the "Stocks under $1 are just $7 + 1/2% of principal." Just about everywhere it says Online trades are $7.

lol, ya know what? I read that when I opened it, but I remembered as sumpin to do with pps...my bad. My Choicetrade account should come on line today or Monday, though.
