I was watching an infomercial/paid programming and it was about stocks. The company is called Better Trades. They had a seminar around where I live so I attended it. They have a 2 days workshop where they teach you how to use the market (stocks & options). The tuition is 3 grand but they said if you dont make 300% of your tuition money back in 6 months from the market they will refund your money. Everything seemed legit. I was hoping someone could give me their input on it if they have already taken the course or have any information about it.

Thanks!

Since I've been here, I remember one post from somebody saying they had attended such an event.

Many (most? I dunno) are selling trading software. My personal opinion would be to budget $200-500 for books and services you can subscribe to, then split the remainder into three trading accounts. Study, papertrade, study, papertrade, etc till you're ready to try a few modest trades. Budget some for losses...

Doing OK? up the ante a tad...

Not doing so well (according to your own goals, you write down beforehand) ? Stop. Study more, keep asking questions.

Repeat as necessary...
