Does anyone know of any TA tool that measures the rate of change of growth of a stock? for example...a stock moves from 4 to 5 one period...next period it moves from 5 to 6.65...thus the increases went from 25% to 33% and thus the rate of change was 8 percent comparably...are there any tools that follow that perhaps on a line chart?

I would be interested in this because perhaps it could find the stocks that are currently picking up steam. It could be used for any time period. I would particularily be interested in using it on a day to day basis when used in conjunction with a similar tool that follows the rate of change with volume. It seems like those two tools could make it easy to either see volume preceding price or the pretty stocks that rise a few percentage points a day, gather attention, then boom.

For such simple math formulas I am amazed I haven't run across these tools yet. Or am I mistaken and you're all hiding it from me? What are these tools called? Matt
