Have three computer's, along with two brokerage accounts. Have $2000 in an ameritrade account for use of news, Apex account info, then use an etrade account for 7.99 trades, along with the chart systems. The etrade charting tools rule IMHO. The minute RSI helps in buying an selling when daytrading. This is a great set-up for daytrading IMO. Also, a cable modem is ideal as every second counts. Also the speed of yuor internet connection, or the lack there of, can kill a daytrader.

Are there better set-ups that I am overlooking?

also, cable modem good, but if you havta share? like old timey "party phones"

just got my DSL speed doubled for 5 bucks extra...

and multi-accounts? ya...just recognized the value of that a while back
