How long does it take to wire money from your bank to your Scottrade account..

opened mine with a wire transfer late one afternoon...was trading the next day...by mid-day, as I recall; anyway, not long. Guessing? If you initiated first rattle outta the box one morning, could prolly make afternoon plays...
Best thing? Ask your local guys...*and* your bank...
Footnote: when I wanna check? I just call local guys on the phone, and check gets cut that day...hits my mailbox in about two days...no longer--so far

must add...am also about to open a second account with, prolly, Choicetrade...for some of the "perimeter plays" that I like, Scottie is too rigid.
But, for normal, everyday trading and access to your dough, they're fine....
