Good folks of AllStocks,

I'd like to know if anyone can recommend any good books on the subject of Trading Stocks or Day Trading.
I'm just getting into this and I don't want to be the guy clogging up the boards with stupid questions.
I find that I learn very well following the written word and then practicing on my own.
I have already picked up a lot just from following the posts here on the forum and I'm currently making out well with GZFX thanks to all of you.
So, if you can point out some good reading - I'd appreciate it.

Thanks all,
-Stinky

I liked how I made 2,000,000 in the stock market by Darvas. Also how to make money in stocks by William Oniel. When to sell by Justin Mamis is also good although I dont like his writting style very much. It still makes some good points that other books dont adress. These books are written for big board stocks although some of it is applicable to pennies. Ive looked for a good penny book but couldnt find one. There are some on investing in pennies but I cant find any on trading pennies or picking runners. I think most of the books written on "day trading" arnt reffering to the type of "day trading that most do at allstocks. They are usually reffering to picking a stock like GE and putting 50,000 on it and selling it for a fraction of a percentage gain and doing that over and over again. I havnt found any books on daytrading pennys or news or that type thing. If anyone knows of any, please tell.

Found One!!!

Penny Stocks: The Next American Gold Rush
-Written by Dan Holtzclaw (1999)

Treemoney, -Thanks for the suggestions. I went out and picked-up your rec's and have been reading. I found the book above at my local library. A must read for a rookie penny trader like me. It's a little dated, I know, but - I haven't found anything on pennies written past 2000 anyway.
It would be very elementary, I suppose, for traders that already know their stuff - but great for the begginer. The author holds your hand through every aspect of penny trading and writes in plain language.

Any other good suggestions? -anyone?
