is it possible to buy IPOs on the first day using limit orders through scottrade even though it is not an underwriter??

Unless your in it for the long haul in terms of a IPO stock i wouldn't buy a IPO unless you are a insider because those insiders will usually dump most of their stock on the first day or week and let "Dumb" money buy into it..

i know IPOs are risky, but i have done extensive research on this one and im confident about the first day returns. i plan to sell it on the second day
