Newbie wondering a few things:

Where is a good place to find accurate info for o/s and float? Are these ever identified by other names?

Also, is the float just the number of available shares distributed to the public, or is it the number of shares available to be purchased by the public?

If the float is 29 mil, and I sell 1 mil, does the float then go up to 30 mil? Or does it stay the same b/c the number of available shares for all the public is the same?
