Scottrade now shows the bid and ask price for pinks on their streamer. Plus you can now purchase pinks online without calling the broker.

Too bad I opened a Ameritrade account. Maybe I'll use Scottrade as a backup..

hey what do you know, now I can buy qbid and hold.

They still have that 1/2 of 1%, but they only charge 7.00 a trade for any order.

I called Scotttrade and they said starting today, pinks can be traded online without broker. For stocks priced under $1, add 1/2% of the principal value to the commissions shown.
Ameritrade - $10.99/trade - all stocks, even under $1
Scottrade - $7/trade - Under $1, add 1/2 % of principal
Breaking point:
$798 principal. Under, Scotts is cheaper, over and ameritrade is... obviously it's the same for both at $798.
