I have some NALG.

Interested in knowing what was said in recommending NALG. Did they say exactly why?

They do have a good looking Bd of Dir, incl a Senator and a former Nebraska Senator -- will be great lobbyists from a marketing point of view. They also have a talented MD on the Bd.

I e-mailed the CEO some time back re financials, but he had nothing to give me. Said they might be filing with the SEC some time in Mar -- but have not yet done so as far as I can determine. I don't know what the filing would be about but my question was definitely about financial information.

he mentioned it in passing said he was puting 5 into it today. what I did pick up from him was that their board of directors or something is made up of proven leaders. as far as I can tell it can be legit that they are going to move or not. but being as much of a newbie as I am to this whole scene, I really cant find any info to back it up. but I am looking. the march think I think I saw something posted for them around the date of the 29th, but I think it was just an extention. can you suggest anything in particular to look for?

on their site:

What is an I-EXCHANGE

An I-EXCHANGE is a licensed company formed to provide a risk-financing program as an alternative to traditional insurance offerings. I-EXCHANGEs can either be composed of a sole owner, a small group I-EXCHANGE, or a large association I-EXCHANGE. Association I-EXCHANGEs, which are more prevalent, must be formed in a US jurisdiction under the same guidelines as an admitted carrier, and these I-EXCHANGES are free to offer policies to members internationally. Single owner practices, business entities or small group I-EXCHANGEs are formed in an offshore jurisdiction, and operate on a non-admitted basis. An I-EXCHANGE operates on the same principles as a Class A insurance company underwriting risks, issuing policies, establishing a reserve account for future claims, and defending policyholders.

I-EXCHANGEs must adhere to the same reporting, actuarial, and administrative requirements of a standard insurance company. Few small group I-EXCHANGE owners have the experience to undertake the management functions, and must instead employ a third party management company, such as NALG

THE NALG BUSINESS

The Company is not an insurance company. NALG is a technology service provider that has developed a seamless electronic processing engine and interface to administer I-EXCHANGE programs with minimal overhead costs. It has identified several sectors where I-EXCHANGE programs can penetrate the $5.6 billion annual medical malpractice insurance market. NALG has assembled an experienced management team and Board of Directors to implement an aggressive service launch, and anticipates rollout of its service offering for the formation and technical services for these I-EXCHANGEs during the second quarter of calendar year 2004.

sorry if thats to much to post...
but from reading that I think it might be a good investment. I mean what doctor would not want to end up paying less for insurance.
one question though when is the second quarter of this calender year come out?

I have the corporate site already, but thanks.

I would be willing to bet it's legit! Since I bought into it, it better be.

Normally, I would not bet on a completely unknown -- let alone a company that does not show positive earnings. However on this one, I happen to know David Tews who is on the Bd. Prior to the family moving to the DC area, visited at their home in Nebraska many times. He would not involve himself if it is not legit. However, I would never put him in the position where I would ask for (or even so imply) "inside information". He does, however, have very, very, very high political connections at the moment.

interesting, how long ago did he leave the company? how did you get the finacials, I cant seem to get anthing...any sites you are using in particular?

He did not leave the company. He was recently appointed to the Bd of Dir. and is still on the Bd.

I do not have any financials. I wish I did, since they are the first thing I look at.

I am just betting on David Tews. No logic to it other than knowing the kind of person he is.

oh I thought you implied that he was recently off of it when his family moved. I have to see if I can find anything out about him now. but good for you its up today, what did you get in at if I can ask?

Bear in mind that this was an exception for me. Normally I do not buy without financials and, then, companies with positive earnings.

I bought 4 times at prices of 1.38, 1.10, .90 and .80. Tried again to buy at .75, but no takers. It's up .15 today for some reason -- don't know why. Haven't had time to check news releases.

As I recall, it's high has been in the 1.50's.

Insurance is a good product. In my opinion (IMO), their specialty is a particular niche that will be sought after.

thats what I think, particularly if they can somehow bring costs down for both the insurance companies and doctors. How are you going to decide when to sell off to at least break even, or when you are going to get out completely?

Posted by Wallace#1 on :

Sorry I took so long to get back to you. Needed a snack.

I haven't figured out my break even point yet. Not really in a hurry. In fact, if I see it go down to .76, I will buy more.

I don't want to "at least break even", and,
I am not even thinking that route. Depending upon financials, news releases and how the stock performs, I look to do various things -- get at least $1000 profit, let it go up to double my total average cost and then sell half (leaving half as free shares), or hold on until up to 300% and then sell all. I just do not know at this point in time with nothing to go by from the company.

Please be cautious. Without any information, this is a BIG GUESS!!! All the stock markets are a gamble (one big casino), so do not let me encourage you in any particular stock. These are just my opinions.

By the way, just one connection referred to above is GHWB.

Just put a stop/loss and let it do the decision for you Diesel if u can't figure out when to sell.. or just sell on the uptrend before it bounces back down.. dont be greedy..take your profits as long as it covers your expenses (commissions etc.) ..
