I've had my ameritrade account for over 4 years. If I deposit 5 grand say tomorrow do I have to wait 10 days to trade OTCBB stocks?

If you wire it you can use it as soon as it shows up into your account which is about 4 to 5 hours the same day.

Should be able to use it as soon as the credit is applied to your account.
