I was wondering, if a company shows it has dividends of .08 for example. Does that mean shareholders will be paid in some form .08 per share? Is this for all share holders or just preferred. Also, what does DD stand for? I know it is research of a stock, but what does it actually stand for? Thank you for your help

DD=Due Diligence
A company has "EARNINGS" They may be distributed by retaining and expanding value of company, 2-Split stock, 3-pay a "DIVIDEND", in this case if you owned 500 shares and .08 was dividend your broker will receive $40 to your account.
IMO this is a nice way to ride thru a sideways market. I setup several stocks that pay me 3 times the money each month that the the utility company charges me for natural
gas.
