A-18 If you intend to be a serious trader you will probably need to write your own software. I use MS Access I have looked everywhere for software to help me. everything starts with BIG numbers. so I wrote my own. VAN

For real-time quotes and basic portfolio management I really like Medved Quotetracker. The free version has unobtrusive ads and you can register (pay) to get rid of them. The software interfaces with many internet brokers for real-time quotes. With E-trade I don't get level 2 pinks but that may be possible. It also has a trading interface, but I havn't tried it. www.quotetracker.com
