News is out...

Carbonics Acquires Rights to Algae Bioreactor Technologies

NEW YORK, Jul 27, 2009 (BUSINESS WIRE) -- Carbonics Capital Corporation (OTC
Bulletin Board: CICS) is pleased to announce that it has entered into an
exclusive license with GreenShift Corporation (OTC Bulletin Board: GERS) for use
of its algae bioreactor technologies in municipal and industrial applications
excluding ethanol production.

GreenShift's patented and patent-pending bioreactor technologies rely on
thermophillic cyanobacteria (among other organisms) to consume carbon dioxide
emissions and to produce carbon-neutral products. The organisms use the
available carbon dioxide in the emissions and water to grow and give off oxygen
and water vapor. The organisms also absorb nitrogen oxide and sulfur dioxide.
All photosynthetic organisms need a supply of carbon dioxide, light, a growth
media and water with nutrients to live and grow. GreenShift's bioreactor
technologies have the potential to reduce the costs and technical barriers to
managing the flow resources into, through and out of the bioreactor in a compact
and cost-efficient way as compared to other algae bioreactor technologies.

Carbonics' wholly-owned subsidiary, Sustainable Systems, Inc., was awarded a
$375,000 grant from the Montana Department of Commerce Research and
Commercialization Technology program and is pursuing additional funding to apply
toward this project to move this technology forward.

"While certain engineering hurdles must be overcome, we remain excited about
this technology and its applications to manage carbon dioxide emissions while
creating raw material for value added products," stated Dr. Paul Miller,
president and chief executive officer. In addition, Dr. Miller stated, "Our
development team's assessment of the algae production state of the art suggests
that this is a practical closed system technology deployable on a large scale.
What is unique about this technology is that we retain a high level of control
of the environmental conditions within the system and we believe we can tailor
the conditions for the production of biomass-derived chemicals and other
products that can have commercial values greatly exceeding fuel."

David Winsness, GreenShift's Chief Technology Officer, added that "GreenShift is
exclusively focused on the commercialization needs of its patent-pending
extraction technologies. While we originally acquired our bioreactor
technologies with a long-term goal of developing applications capable of
integrating into corn ethanol plants, these technologies have many other
applications. The Carbonics team has the ability to evaluate and develop those
applications, and to manage the continued evolution of our bioreactor
technologies."

Under the terms of the license agreement, Carbonics will pay GreenShift ten
percent of the pre-tax net income derived from the use of the technology or
derived from the sale, sublicense or lease of technology related equipment. In
addition, while GreenShift shall retain ownership of all improvements that
Carbonics may develop, and the right to use any such improvements in
GreenShift's ethanol applications, Carbonics shall retain the right to use those
improvements under the license agreement.

I like it also, what's the possible dilution picture look like?

Lockman,

Penny stocks are now bullish in this market followed by bullish market and economy.. There are less dilutions these days, and there are less naked short selling going on.. We might be into new penny market trend after all that short sell mess. Plus SEC introduces new short selling regulations recently.

Let's hope every penny stocks get back to their higher levels.

Kristen - are you in all these? OMHI, KKUR, SALN, OPGX, IDOI, BWNR, TYRIA? I am but wish I wasn't! Oh well - they can't all be winners. Uhhh- yeah they could! LOL Enjoy the day. I got dizzy watching BONU rocket to $3.50 and then drop to $2.10 this morning - nice recovery though. I'm still kicking myself for selling - it's a REAL stock.... Oh well. It's been a 10 bagger for some here!

May all your trades be WINNERS!

who's still in this one? It's up a lil' today [Smile]

Posted by Love the Market on :

Good Morning Kristen ~

I am - and look at all my losers above. I had asked you 3 posts above if you're in any of them...

I sure feel bad for the people who bought BONU over $3.00 yesterday - down to $2.14 now - I've been there. But it was only .30 cents last week. We need to find a few more of those. I thought SALN would run today. BWNR is up to .0004, but has only done 6 mil. of the 91 mil. vol. there.

Good Luck. Whoa - BONU 1.96 now. I'll go back in under $1.00. I'm getting creamed on OMHI

Posted by Love the Market on :

L2 for GERS looks good - problem is very low volume today. NITE 5 back at .0042 on the ask - which really doesn't mean much -but they're .003 on the bid.

Good morn, steve...Im in gers and kkur with you,,,the others, you are on your own, babe!! Didn't I see some news come out this morn on saln? I too would have thought it should run...at least a lil'. I'm glad I shy'd away from bonu, with my luck, i'da lotst my azz. I hope today is a good day for all of us. p.s. I've thought about tyria too, but it scares me...it looks like another nxhd. :-(

kkur my opinion on that stock is it shoots up a couple times a month.. so i wouldnt sell for a loss right now jsut wait a week or so for another time it shoots up

Posted by Love the Market on :

Hi jdizz! I'm not going to sell for a 50% loss on any of my little stinky pinkies! As soon as I'd sell - it would run like BONU did! Plus we see them come back all the time (usually when we're NOT holding them)! I have a bunch of TYRIA too at .0005. Was hoping BWNR would hit .001 with all that volume - but still at .0004 x .0005

Good Luck to us all! My Acc't/ looked nice when the had SALN at .55 at open! HAHA

FLYING on Patent NEWS !!

GreenShift Awarded Patent for Corn Oil ExtractionLast update: 10/14/2009 11:45:01 AMNEW YORK, Oct 14, 2009 (BUSINESS WIRE) -- GreenShift Corporation (GERS) announced today that the U.S. Patent and Trademark Office has issued U.S. Patent No. 7,601,858, titled "Method of Processing Ethanol Byproducts and Related Subsystems" (the '858 Patent) for the extraction of corn oil to GS CleanTech Corporation, a wholly-owned subsidiary of GreenShift. GreenShift's patented and patent-pending corn oil extraction technologies enable GreenShift and its licensees to "drill" into the back-end of first generation corn ethanol plants to tap into a new reserve of inedible crude corn oil with an estimated industry-wide output of about 20 million barrels per year. This corn oil is a valuable second generation feedstock for use in the production of biodiesel and renewable diesel -- advanced carbon-neutral liquid fuels, thereby enhancing total fuel production from corn and increasing ethanol plant profits. "The issuance of the '858 Patent is a significant milestone for GreenShift and its stakeholders," said Kevin Kreisler, GreenShift's chairman and chief executive officer. "GreenShift has a substantial investment in the development of these important and timely new technologies. We look forward with great anticipation to working with the ethanol industry to press the evolution of corn ethanol forward into enhanced sustainability." The '858 Patent covers processes for recovering corn oil by evaporating, concentrating and mechanically processing thin stillage, a precursor to the distillers grain co-product of corn ethanol production ("DDGS"). Historically, ethanol production facilities have sold DDGS for animal feed, with all of the oil trapped inside. An estimated 3.4 million tons of corn oil passed unrecovered through the U.S. ethanol industry during 2008 alone. GreenShift's portfolio of patented and patent-pending extraction technologies can cost-effectively extract most of this corn oil, thereby increasing biofuel yields per bushel of corn by 7% while reducing the energy consumption and greenhouse gas ("GHG") intensity of corn ethanol production by an estimated 21% and 29%, respectively. David Winsness, GreenShift's chief technology officer and co-inventor of GreenShift's extraction technologies, added that: "There are no other technologies that have been developed for corn ethanol producers that begin to approach even a fraction of these results in the entire history of the ethanol industry. While this patent establishes our dominant ownership and technology leadership in corn oil extraction, we have many more patent applications pending that strengthen GreenShift's position as a leading technology partner in the ethanol industry." Dipped down to .0045 range - now back to .005'a.

DUMB-ME had a GTC Sell in for a long time at .0065 (I bought in months ago at .0032). I cancelled it after I read the GREAT Patent News, when it hit .005, and tried to buy more at .005 and chased it to .0067 - DUMB - brought my average UP to .0046 now. I blew $1,000 profit - but am up $150 as I write this -
with almost double the shares. It scares the shhh out of me to think that at .007 it was up more than 4 1/2 times today's open of .0016 - but I've seen them run from .001 to .10 before - just never made money on those! At .0048 it was STILL up 200% -

Good Luck to all - with this patent I think it will FLY tomorrow - when everyone knows about it.

THIS TIME I've set my GTC to sell 40% at .015 which would give me back all my pricipal and $700 and the rest free shares. THis could hit a nickel or a dime but I'm too squirmish right now to let it all ride.... I MUST convince myself "A Profit's a Profit". I feel like an idiot right now - except that I REALLY think this is going to FLY when the world finds out - investors who may be at work - not just traders. VERY volatile.

Good morning love...thanks for the info...I just about crapped my pants when I got home and looked at my account because I thought I had an order out there to sell at like .0042, but thank god...it expired on the 10th. So, I still have my shares and I don't have much in it, nor do I need the cash right now, so I'm going to ride this one out and see what will happen. I'm so excited...It's been such a LOOOONG time for me.

No - I got into NEOM about 2 weeks ago and I've been trying to add more - but it keeps going up! THAT hasn't happened in a while. Bought some RDXM this morning too - had a buy in for EDVP but when BurberryBoy posted the RS I cancelled - and it STILL went up even with that news. I sold some of my losers like AMNE a week ago and ARTI yesterday, and still have some of the other crap - SALN, OMHI, OPGX, KKUR, BHWF, BWNR, IDOI and a couple of other losers I can't remember right this second.

I had a couple of doubles and triples in August -but then got killed by these losers.....

Wonder what's up with BWNR? HUGE Vol. today 0 over 100 mil. - and up .0001 - I'm gonna see if I can find out why. Good Luck!

I'm sticking to my guns this time....about selling 40% at .015 - I'll be a Pig - but I can't afford to get Slaughtered this week!

This is flying all over the place - I'd LOVE to see it rin to .009 or .01 into close.

MORE news as well - looks like they're already putting the patent to work!

GreenShift Files Infringement Lawsuit against GEA Westfalia

Business Wire "US Press Releases "

NEW YORK--(BUSINESS WIRE)--
GreenShift Corporation (OTC Bulletin Board: GERS) announced today that
its wholly-owned subsidiary, GS CleanTech Corporation, has filed a legal
action in the United States District Court (Southern District of New
York) against GEA Westfalia Separator, Inc. and others in the industry
for infringing on GreenShift's U.S. patent covering corn oil extraction
technology.

The complaint alleges that GEA Westfalia Separator, Inc. ("Westfalia")
and others in the industry infringed U.S. Patent No. 7,601,858, titled "Method
of Processing Ethanol Byproducts and Related Subsystems" (the "'858
Patent"). The '858 Patent covers processes for recovering corn oil by
evaporating, concentrating and mechanically processing thin stillage, a
precursor to the distillers grain co-product of corn ethanol production
("DDGS").

A typical ethanol plant converts each 56-pound bushel of corn it
receives into 18 pounds of ethanol, 18 pounds of carbon emissions, and
18 pounds of DDGS. Every kernel of corn has a fat (corn oil) content of
about 3.6%. This corresponds to about 2 pounds of corn oil per bushel of
corn.

GreenShift's Intellectual Property Portfolio provides ethanol production
facilities with efficient processes for extracting upwards of 1.4 pounds
of corn oil per bushel in a way that also reduces the amount of energy
needed to refine ethanol out of corn by as much as 9,000 Btu per gallon
of ethanol produced. This energy savings corresponds to a dramatic
reduction in the fossil fuel consumption and carbon emissions of the
host ethanol facility.

The U.S. ethanol industry produced more than 30 billion gallons of
ethanol between 1980 and 2004, the year that GreenShift's team
demonstrated, for the first time, the feasibility of GreenShift's now
patented corn oil extraction technology. During that same period, about
7.4 million tons of corn oil passed untouched through the ethanol
industry and was fed to livestock for a fraction of its value bound
within 65 million tons of DDGS. Further, by leaving the corn oil in its
DDGS, the industry was less energy efficient and consumed more energy
than necessary to dewater and dry the DDGS.

For context, the ethanol industry has the capacity to produce about 11.5
billion gallons of ethanol during 2009. With a majority of plants
adopting GreenShift's Intellectual Property Portfolio, the ethanol
industry could be saving about 100 million MMBtu per year while
producing more than 2.8 million tons of inedible corn oil per year. The
result at current market prices is staggering: the ethanol industry
could be producing an additional $0.13 per gallon of ethanol produced,
or over $1.1 billion, in additional profit today by using GreenShift's
patented and patent-pending corn oil extraction technologies. And, this
excludes the impact of premiums paid for defatted DDGS in some markets,
and the value of shaving tens of millions of metric tons per year of
greenhouse gas ("GHG") emissions off of America's carbon footprint.

"The economic and environmental benefits to the ethanol industry made
possible by our portfolio of patented and patent-pending extraction
technologies are remarkable," said Kevin Kreisler, GreenShift's chairman
and chief executive officer. "These benefits laid dormant for the 24
years that preceded GreenShift's invention of extraction technology. It
is GreenShift's opinion, as outlined in the pleadings, that Westfalia,
seven years after it started offering equipment to the ethanol industry,
and well after we introduced the market to the benefits of corn oil
extraction, took to trivializing our innovations as they solicited and
induced many in the ethanol industry into using our now patented
technology well after our patent applications were published. GreenShift
will protect its investment in its intellectual properties. In the
meantime, we will continue to offer our technologies to the ethanol
industry in fair, win-win arrangements for all interested parties, while
working with targeted strategic partners to bring our innovative
technologies to the marketplace."

GreenShift's technical services staff is available at 888-ETHANOIL or sales@greenshift.com
to respond to quotation requests and to answer any questions about
GreenShift's corn oil extraction and other technologies.

against Westfalia is available online at www.greenshift.com

GreenShift Awarded Second Patent on Corn Oil ExtractionLast update: 10/20/2009 2:31:00 PMNEW YORK, Oct 20, 2009 (BUSINESS WIRE) -- GreenShift Corporation (GERS) announced today that the U.S. Patent and Trademark Office issued notice that pending patent number 11/688,435 will be issued as U.S. Patent No. 7,608,729, titled "Method of Freeing the Bound Oil Present in Whole Stillage and Thin Stillage" (the '729 Patent) on October 27, 2009 to GS CleanTech Corporation, a wholly-owned subsidiary of GreenShift. GreenShift previously announced the October 13, 2009 award by the U.S. Patent and Trademark Office to GS CleanTech of U.S. Patent No. 7,601,858, titled "Method of Processing Ethanol Byproducts and Related Subsystems" (the '858 Patent). "The '858 Patent covers the core of our extraction platform," said David Winsness, GreenShift's chief technology officer and co-inventor of GreenShift's extraction technologies. "The '729 Patent builds off of the '858 Patent to enhance yield and optimize energy utilization. The issuance of both patents further validate the significant resources and years of hard work that we have invested in the development of our extraction platform. We are energized by these events and we look forward to using our technological capabilities to address the environmental and financial needs of our clients." GreenShift's patented and patent-pending corn oil extraction technologies enable GreenShift and its licensees to "drill" into the back-end of first generation corn ethanol plants to tap into a new reserve of inedible crude corn oil with an estimated industry-wide output of about 20 million barrels per year. This corn oil is a valuable second generation feedstock for use in the production of biodiesel and renewable diesel -- advanced carbon-neutral liquid fuels, thereby enhancing total fuel production from corn and increasing ethanol plant profits. Historically, ethanol production facilities have sold the distillers grain co-product of corn ethanol production ("DDGS") for animal feed, with all of the oil trapped inside. There are no other technologies that have been developed for corn ethanol producers that begin to approach even a fraction of these results in the entire history of the ethanol industry. More information regarding GreenShift and its patented and patent-pending extraction technologies will be made available in Winsness' presentation titled "Back End Fractionation" at the upcoming 2nd Annual Commercial Ethanol Technology and Research Workshop on October 28, 2009 at the Sioux Falls, South Dakota headquarters of POET. Additional information regarding GreenShift's extraction technologies is available online in a recent podcast interview with David Winsness at the link below: GreenShift's technical services staff is available at 888-ETHANOIL or sales@greenshift.com to respond to quotation requests and to answer any questions about GreenShift's corn oil extraction and other technologies. It wouldn't have mattered much since they are selling into the news.

Normally news in the morning is better, but if the news is good, then even afternoon might be better since it would have run to the close and gap up the next day.

but it's all a crap shoot

The company putting more shares into the open market for people like you and me to buy. The more shares they keep putting in the open market, the more people it will take to make the stock move.

It's called dilution, pretty standard down here in pinky land. Try to afford dilution if you can, sometimes it's just not that easy.

Posted by bullitt49 on :

ok thanks. I knew what dilution was, I thought it odd that they sold 600 mil shares and it only went up .0002 for the day. Any hopes this will move in the morning?

Normally, with news this big, a stock could run for a few days - but right after the first patent news came out last week - the increased the AS from 500,000,000 to 10 BILLION.

I don't know if we can get back to .004 - .005 tomorrow - never mind the .007 high during the quick run after the news was announced last week - which was quashed by the 10Q possibly even the lawsuit news....

Posted by bullitt49 on :

thanks for the info i was hoping for a quick jump but i'm going to have to rehash that. thats a lot of AS to deal with

Posted by Love the Market on :

If we don't get back near .005 tomorrow - I'm gonna try to trade my way out over time to try and break even or cut my loss to under 10%.
