News coming this afternoon and I know this CEO.

If you bought at open or last week you are sitting pretty.

News this afternoon puts this over .01 IMO.

Same CEO for POP3 Media isn't it? Ari Bass? News coming for POP3 Meadia also?

Posted by Smash on :

Centurian, why over .01? What did he tell you. AND ASK HIM ABOUT POPT!! I'm joking around, but I'm sure we'd appreciate the info.
Obviously you don't have to share anything, and no one should use your word as DD for investing, just want to know what you know.

So what's going on with MEDT, and also POPT...if you know.

Oh jeez, its running...the wrong way! [Confused]

Posted by Ticker on :

Its sitting still - at that ask price, I wouldn`t buy any either, without a great PR already out!

[More Crap]

Centurian, your "insight" is garbage. I don't believe that you've ever spoken to Ari Bass in your life. You seem to be pumping your portfolio, then disappearing off the thread.

On the POPT thread you said:
"FWIW, POPT is about to release a blockbuster PR.
Good source. This will hit .005 by EOD."
AND
"The CEO said today or before the open tomorrow at the latest [News out]."

Then you said, "News coming this afternoon and I know this CEO." on this thread.

Are you seriously flat out lying here?
I can't see these two identical events being mere coincidences. As I said earlier, you don't owe anyone an explanation and no one HAS to listen to you, but if you're pumping, someone has to call you out on it. But you're free to do what you want.

TWO CEO`S - 2 STRIKES [Confused]

Posted by Smash on :

Two strikes exactly, and two's enough. I'm calling him out on every single "insight" bologna he tries to put up on this board. I didn't get into MEDT, but I'm still upset that he'd straight-up lie to pump his portfolio. I guess the 1 star rating should have been a sign.
"I know the CEO", give me a break.

I was busy yesterday watching the huge differences between the bid/ask on some of the stocks. It seems like someone is pumping up the ask on certain stocks, but when they get so high - such as .0025 - .0050, then nothing moves...

Centurian, as I stated earlier I work an accountant for an auditing firm in Los Angeles, we travel across California to perform audits for different organizations. One thing that I really despise is fraud within organizations that are publically traded. AICPA and SEC frowns upon fraud activity, but recently we have taking the liberty to investigate penny stock fraud which includes pumping, spamming and other penny stock fraud activities. I want you to know that the date on this press release states that it should be released tomorrow July 29th 2009 at some point. If it is not, the fraudulent press release will be submitted to the organization for review and for them to authenticate. If it is determined that it is a fraud, the SEC, and ACIPA and every other accounting board that I am a member of will be contacted so that the perpetrator and creator of the fraudulent press release can be tracked through IP address and prosecuted to the fullest extent of the law. It is not fair to the organization to have a person trying to improve their portfolio by creating lies about the organization, unless you are a paid pumper.
If the press release is fake it is considered internet fraud, according to the SEC.GOV “Internet Fraud Fraudsters often use aliases on Internet bulletin boards and chat rooms to hide their identities and post messages urging investors to buy stock in microcap companies based on supposedly "inside" information about impending developments at the companies”. Addditonly, “Questionable Press Releases Fraudsters often issue press releases that contain exaggerations or lies about the microcap company's sales, acquisitions, revenue projections, or new products or services. These fraudulent press releases are then disseminated through legitimate financial news portals on the Internet”.
If you are lying you are guilty of both, I am not trying to threaten you in any kind of way, I just think that you should be aware of your actions and the consequences of your actions which is fines, and possible imprisonment. If the press release is a fake, I suggest that you submit a retraction immediately and move forward to mitigate any damages.
Like myself, I am sure that a lot of people enjoy surfing message boards to pass time at work, but to create a fake press release is a FEDERAL CRIME. I really hope that the press release is not a fraud. Good luck with your trading and in life.

Hey, chill out!!! I have made plenty of money following Centurian's tips. No one can be right 100% of the time. What do you guys think he is, a freakin fortune teller? Hey Centurian, give us the winning lotto nunbers while you are at it.

There's a difference between a pick and a fabricated press release. We'll know tomorrow whether this is legit or not. You may have had success with some of his picks, but, lately, there has been a pattern of falsehood coming from Centurian which needs to be seriously looked at.

Take at look at the things he said in the POPT thread, then look at the ones here on the MEDT thread. They're nearly the same. They both claim insider knowledge, and attach a specific price per share prediction. So far, he's been 100% wrong. Coincidence or pumping?
We'll know for sure tomorrow.

i have run several google searches and find no matches to this supposed PR, that does not mean it doesn't exist,it just means that i cannot find it, there ain't much i cannot find tho [Big Grin]

there are other possible 'splanations, but if you fee that this is fraud you should contact the SEC directly.

http://www.sec.gov/complaint.shtml

as for the person who posted the PR that appears to be false?

i suggest you contact the SEC yourself as well to 'splain WTF happened here [Wink]

Smash - looks like your thread was taken down by admin.

I saw your reference to when Centurian wrote:
" News coming this afternoon and I know this CEO".

I could be wrong - but he POSSIBLY meant "I know how this CEO operates", or I know how this particular CEO does things" - ONLY from HIS/Her own personal observances....

Not for nothing - but I know the CEO's of 6 or 7 of these penny stocks personally. Only one ever told me to buy before the masses - and it was a stock he wan't even part of yet (he was buying the company). The rest of them used to think it was funny on how we'd all blame NITE for a stocks actions - or them - and they REALLY have no control over how a stock trades. They WISH their companies to go UP most of the time, just as we do here. There are also some who actually commit crimes with what they do - but seem to be able to do whatever they want - because the SEC has bigger fish to try and fry.

I see why you're upset - at the very LEAST - this person should put - IMO and maybe be wise to add a disclaimer. He/She just joined less than 2 months ago - maybe they don't know "board manners" or "appropriateness" yet. OR I could be wrong and he/she is long gone with OPM.

Who knows. When I first joined RB 10 years ago - before I found this site 6 years ago - I posted innocent comments - and some people were very nice - MOST were ugly and nasty and accused me of all SORTS of agenda - and I was truly a "Penny Stock Virgin" back then. Whoa - GREAT idea for a Reality Show! LOL

Anyway - Good Luck to us all....

Steve

I've been here long enough to tell all you newbies this...if ANY poster tells you that he/she "knows" the CEO or gives you entry or exit points...stay as far away from his/her picks as you can get...

Thanks for your posting, Steve. Actually they moved the thread to non-stock talk or whatever. Steve, I understand the point you're making. It is the investor's responsibility to make informed decisions based on their own research. That is understood. However, if you look at the language used by Centurian in this thread and the POPT thread (please read that one too), it is clear what his (or her) adgenda is. Centurian is pumping his portfolio. If you read the various postings, they all offer insight or knowledge of great magnitude. But he is lying. On the POPT thread, Centurian claimed to have spoken directly to the CEO of POPT, Ari Bass, for which no working telephone number exists anywhere. Centurian went on to write that Mr. Bass was going to release "blockbuster PR". That day, POPT rose from .0006-ish to .0012, then fell back the next day when PR had not been released. I'm not saying that could have been fully contributed to his statements, but I know a few people on this board who jumped into the stock based, although not soley, on this.

Centurian is not doing what the rest of us do. We say "in my opinion" or "from what I can tell" or even offer REAL PR! If you are suggesting that Centurian is not acting in a mallicious way, then I don't think you're seeing the complete issue.

Look, we have a lot of fun on here, and you (Steve) offer many great postings that I love to read and research. Centurian is the opposite of what we need on this clean board.

Don't take my word for it, read the various postings under the POPT, MEDT, GDSM, etc. You will notice a pattern of manipulation.

And by the way, why hasn't Centurian jumped all over me to clear his/her name? I believe it's because he knows that he's exhausted this board, and has to move on to another one...or alias.

This is my opinion, and I believe it is correct. If Centurian is allowed to keep posting, I'll jump all over his threads. I always have access to the internet and will try to take care of this myself if the admins don't.

Thanks again steve, and good luck trading!

The greatest issue here, though, is the fabrication of false PR...which there's no denying that.
That alone ought to be grounds for removal.

Holy crap Smash - NOW I see exactly what you mean about the phony PR. I'm not in this stock - and just read that 'phony' PR for an Amazon buyout. INCREDIBLE!!! I also noticed that he posted it at 9:19am YESTERDAY morning but the PR date is the 29th!! Reminds me of the old TV show, Early Edition, back in the 90's, where Kyle Chandler (of "Friday NIght Lights" fame more recently) gets TOMORROWS newspaper TODAY! Only it was fiction and he used it to do good deeds. I just looked and don't see a PR on this stock since last April.

I just went over to ihub and saw your posts and jdizz' also - and saw that you all noticed yesterday that Centurian has a crystal ball a day ahead of time! I can't believe people over there didn't go nuts about it...

Again - all I can say is WOW - and SEC - where are you?

I wasn't even really defending this guy - just thought you should look at all angles before hanging him - but you sure look like a good detective.

I see you're even newer here than he is - but believe me - the good people here outweigh the bad about 99.5% to .5%

I forgot to mention that the CEO I know who told me to buy a stock that he was going to buy the co. - the stock did nothing. (Hey - at least it didn't go down). He wasn't giving me insider info - he just said he was going to turn it into a good co. He never gave me info on the co. he already owned. But hey - I'm in South Florida and there are probably 300 penny stock CEOs within 12 miles of me. Means nothing. Most of those P&D Newsletters are down here too. (The worst were the one that said Weston, FL - same guys put out 3 or 4 of them). OTC Reporter is another one. You know how I met most of those CEO's? At offerings by their investment bankers where they were trying to raise money for their companies!!! I hit it off with a few, and we had some mutual friends and business associates - but that was over 5 years ago. IPOs and PPMs aren't very popular these days. None of them became zillionaires as far as I know. Most weren't bad guys and didn't seem scammy, just trying to male money. (I guess those scam guys stick to the proverbial 'boiler rooms')!

Good Luck to us all!
Steve
