Amelot Announces Formation of Jatropha Biofuel Technologies Inc.
CHEYENNE, Wyo., March 4, 2008 (PRIME NEWSWIRE) -- Amelot Holdings, Inc. (Pink Sheets:AMHD) announced the formation of its new subsidiary, Jatropha Biofuel Technologies, Inc. ("JBTI"). The subsidiary will offer a truly integrated approach, which will include all aspects of Jatropha research, development, and cultivation, including extracting technologies of Jatropha oils and the processing of high grade biodiesel.
Jatropha is an oil-rich, non-edible plant that grows on wastelands and is a promising alternative energy feedstock for the production of biodiesel. Through intensive research, JBTI will concentrate on harnessing the potential of high yield Jatropha species. More information on Jatropha can be found at: http://www.thewoodexplorer.com/maindata/we1654.html
"Jatropha has recently become an agricultural and economic celebrity, with the discovery that it may be the ideal biofuel crop, an alternative to fossil fuels for a world dangerously dependent on oil supplies and deeply alarmed by the effects of global warming," commented Aziz Hirji, President of Amelot Holdings, Inc.

About Biodiesel:

Biodiesel is biodegradable, nontoxic, and essentially free of sulfur and aromatics. It is less toxic than table salt and biodegrades as fast as sugar. Biodiesel reduces emissions of carbon monoxide (CO) by approximately 50% and carbon dioxide (CO2) by 78%. Biodiesel reduces the emission of particulates, small particles of solid combustion products, by as much as 65%. This reduces cancer risks by up to 94% according to testing sponsored by the Department of Energy.

From last PR:
"CHEYENNE, Wyo., March 4, 2008 (PRIME NEWSWIRE) -- Amelot Holdings, Inc. (Pink Sheets:AMHD) announced the formation of its new subsidiary, Jatropha Biofuel Technologies, Inc. ("JBTI"). Advantages of Jatropha:
- no genetic engineering, million of years of evolution perfected it
- no herbicides needed to fight weeds, because jatropia is a weed
- no pesticides needed, naturally bug resistent
- grows in poor soil
- enriches soil automatically, only enhancing bio mass, not depleting it because the soil is not being attacked with poisons (unlike in corn production) - leaves go into ground
- no health risk in terms of cancer causing carcinogens
- no chemicals - will not kill the fish in neighboring ponds (LOL), streams, and lakes
- 10 times as productive as corn!
- 4 times as productive as soy beans!
- 60% from seeds become diesel after some filtering and 40% can be used to generate power from
- doesn't require distillation (unlike ethanol which requires a ton of energy just distilling it)

"I've come today to tell you that America is the kind of country that when they see a problem, we address it head-on. I've set a great goal for our country, and that is to reduce our dependence on oil by investing in technologies that will produce abundant supplies of clean and renewable energy, and at the same time show the world that we're good stewards of the environment."
"Many of the construction projects will be supported by $18.5 billion in loan guarantees provided by the government. By the way, that's part of a loan-guarantee projects that we got out of Congress -- $18 billion for the nukes, $10 billion for renewable energy expansions in the United States. (Applause.) This will enable our plant owners -- guys that are applying for loans -- (laughter) -- the whole purpose is, is we want to expand our nuclear power industry. And we're taking specific actions to do it."

The company expects to collect enough indigenous Jatropha seed to produce a minimum of one million gallons of Jatropha oil in 2008. Soy-based Biodiesel is currently trading at $5.21 per gallon.

"It has been an exciting beginning to 2008 and a very important time for Amelot Holdings Inc.," said Aziz Hirji. "We have been working very hard behind the scenes to get to the point where we are today. We now have all the required systems and processes in place to make us one of the dominant, worldwide leaders in the setup, production, and delivery of Jatropha products in the near future."

With the addition of the newly formed subsidiary Jatropha Biofuel Technologies, Inc. (JBTI), the company can now begin to market its revenue streams globally which include, but are not limited to:

* Consulting fees for proposed and new Jatropha plantations

check these links to see the Jatropha "globally":
Jatropha in India:
http://www.jatrophabiodiesel.org/
"In recent years, the Indian government has shown a major interest in Jatropha, and alongside other developing countries, a number of international groups are now sharing this interest. There have been substantial political and social pressures to promote the growing of such crops (in particular Jatropha curcas) in India, as a means of economic empowerment, social upliftment and poverty alleviation within marginalized communities."

Jatropha in Africa:
http://www.nytimes.com/2007/09/09/world/africa/09biofuel.html?ex=1347076800&en=b 8d10edc967799c8&ei=5124&partner=permalink&exprod=permalink

Jatropha originated in Central America and is believed to have been spread around the world by Portuguese explorers. In Mali, a landlocked former French colony, it has been used for decades by farmers as a living fence that keeps grazing animals off their fields — the smell and the taste of the plant repel grazing animals — and a guard against erosion, keeping rich topsoil from being blown away by the harsh Sahel winds. The Royal Tropical Institute, a nonprofit research institution in Amsterdam that has been working to develop jatropha as a commercial biofuel, estimates that there are 22,000 linear kilometers, or more than 13,000 miles, of the bush in Mali.

Poor farmers living on a wide band of land on both sides of the equator are planting it on millions of acres, hoping to turn their rockiest, most unproductive fields into a biofuel boom. They are spurred on by big oil companies like BP and the British biofuel giant D1 Oils, which are investing millions of dollars in jatropha cultivation.

Jatropha in China:
http://news.xinhuanet.com/english/2006-05/24/content_4595091.htm

China,The world’s second-biggest energy user may spend 1.5 trillion yuan ($192 billion) in the next 15 years to increase the use of renewable resources to cut the nation’s reliance on oil.It , will use 32.9 million acres (13.3 million hectares) of forestland, equivalent to the size of England, to grow trees that can be harvested to make bio-fuels.

DD from other board:

Let's start with some excerpts which got my DD starting from BioDiesel Magazine Article:

Emerging Opportunities on Uncharted Grounds
http://www.biodieselmagazine.com/article.jsp?article_id=2007&q=Amelot&page=2
By Bryan Sims

1) …the country (Costa Rica) can use the models developed by others to position itself as a viable competitor within the global biodiesel market.

2) …Costa Rica, El Salvador, Honduras and Guatemala are considered to be the best equipped to expand their biodiesel production, based on their current production capabilities, the organization of their ag industries and their governments’ ability to recognize the importance of biofuels and to legislate accordingly. …

3) …Costa Rica intends to be carbon neutral by 2021 and to displace 25 percent of the oil it imports with renewable sources by 2010. …

4) … Pan-Am partnered with Amelot because of its expertise in foreign relations and forestry management.

5) …Amelot Holdings has exclusive rights to all of the oil produced by the plantation and its initial plans are to sell it to domestic refiners in Costa Rica, according to Black. …

6) By Mid-2008 they we will be able to deliver 3,000,000 gallons of CJO(Crude Jatropha Oil)

Let me start with:

The need for BioDiesel in Costa Rica

The local governments from Central and Latin America met at the:

II LATIN AMERICAN AND THE CARIBBEAN BIOFUELS SEMINAR
SAN SALVADOR, EL SALVADOR
SEPTEMBER 26-28, 2007
http://www.olade.org.ec/biocombustibles/indexEn.html

The following presentation was given as Costa Rica’s path to foreign oil independence: http://www.olade.org.ec/biocombustibles/Documents/ponencias/d%EDa2/Sesion8%20-%2 0Dia%202%202da%20parte/IleanaHarrison.pdf

On page 6 we find:
In September 2006, the Ministry of Agriculture and the Ministry of Environment and Energy of Costa Rica established a unified National Commission on Biofuels (Comisión Nacional de Biocombustibles) under Decree No. 33357.62

Under Decree No. 33357, the commission is composed of representatives from various ministries and other public and private institutions involved in the production of biofuels. It is responsible for proposing an action plan containing strategies over the short and long term to encourage the use of biofuels in Costa Rica in cooperation with the Ministry of Environment and Energy and the Ministry of Agriculture and Livestock. The commission is also mandated to carry out monitoring activities. Finally, it is responsible for proposing any reforms needed to ensure an appropriate legal framework to promote biofuels in the country.

August 2007: Milestone in Costa Rica ... they finally have a plan to carry out biofuel IMPLEMENTATION via the ONLY nationalized oil company RECOPE. Here is a diagram on the implementation process(page 35) ~ I have marked where AMHD (PAN AM FUELS) fits in this model:

 -

RECOPE is Costa Rica’s ONLY OIL and GAS provider, currently they import 100% of their oil from Venezuela.

RECOPE DEAL WITH PAN AM FUELS

I called RECOPE www.recope.go.cr Costa Rica, spoke with Manuel Gutierrez from their Business Development Department. Starting in a couple of months they will be purchasing Crude BioDiesel Oil from 3rd parties to introduce into the Costa Rican market as marked in the Costa Rican National Decree (No. 33357.62)

I asked for a list of providers, guess who was on their LIST!
PAN AM BIOFUELS … (AMHD) will be providing CJO, (Jatropha Oil) to the country’s ONLY OIL company (RECOPE) in Costa Rica – it would be like selling the oil to Chevron or Shell in the United States!

 -

This all coincides with the article found in BioDiesel Magazine.

So from all of this confirmation let’s get to the numbers:

-Mid-2008 they will be producing 3,000,000 gallons of crude jatropha oil.

3,000,000 gallons * 3,3 liters/gallon = 9,900,000 liters of CJO

RECOPE representative said they will be paying around $0.75 dollars or maybe even more for 1 liter
9,900,000 liters of CJO * $0.75 dollars/liter = $7,425,000

BINGO!! ~ CONFIRMS AMHDs PROJECTION FROM LAST PR…

It gets even better ~ I spoke with Pan Am BioFuels: By the end of 2008 they will be able to produce up to 5,000,000 gallons of grude Jatropha Oil with their plantations:

15,000,000 liters of CJO * $0.75 dollars/liter = $11,250,000 !!

This is ONLY from their existing Costa Rica site … if we read the last PR very carefully the company plans on revenue from:

* Consulting fees for proposed and new Jatropha plantations
* Cloning technology for the production of superior Jatropha seeds
* Exclusive distribution rights of a new, superior extraction process
* Sale of Jatropha seeds
* Sale of Jatropha seedlings

THIS DD IS ONLY FROM OIL EXTRACTION !!!

They are EXPANDING … Costa Rica is only the beginning … they believe that if they are able to produce what they think they can produce we may be looking at over 10,000,000 gallons for DOMESTIC (RECOPE) & INTERNATIONAL export from Costa Rica.

10,000,000 * 3.3 = 33,000,000 LITERS
33,000,000 LITERS * 0.75 = $24,750,000 in the next 1-2 years! JUST FROM JATROPHA PLANTATIONS

WE ARE CURRENTLY VERY UNDERVALUED!!!

Description

JATROPHA CURCAS SEEDS

We are offering bulk quantities of Jatropha seeds (5,000 seeds) for people interested in exploring what will soon be the "fuel of the future."

Jatropha curcas is an oil plant. The vegetable oil of Jatropha curcas has the ability to provide a commercially viable alternative to diesel oil. The new biodiesel oil which is produced directly from the Jatropha fruit can effectively run diesel engines with little or no engine conversion.

These durable seeds can be germinated and planted in all kinds of soil and will grow and flourish in weather which doesn't drop below freezing (32 degrees F).
The trees can grow to 20 feet tall, can thrive up to 50 years. The plants can be harvested twice a year, and are ready for harvest 18 months after planting.

One acre of Jatropha can yield between 600 to 1,000 gallons of oil per year at minimum

AMHD could make good money just selling the seeds if they wanted to do that as they stated in last press release 5,000 seeds $395 which I am sure the seeds can be mass produced [Smile]

Amelot Holdings, Inc. Charts Course to Produce in Excess of 100 Million Gallons of Jatropha Oil Annually

*********wire "*********wire "

CHEYENNE, Wyo., March 13, 2008 (PRIME NEWSWIRE) -- Amelot Holdings, Inc. (Pink Sheets:AMHD) announced its subsidiary, Jatropha Biofuel Technologies, Inc. (JBTI), has come to an agreement with Fundacion Pan America (FPA) to develop Jatropha plantations throughout Latin America.

Beginning next month, JBTI will begin developing a minimum of 100,000 hectares of land across Latin America for the cultivation of Jatropha feedstock and the production of Jatropha oil. Each hectare of land will support about 2,000 Jatropha trees. Every Jatropha tree produces approximately half gallon of Jatropha oil per year. Conservative estimates show that 100,000 hectares of developed land will produce 100 million gallons of oil annually. Currently, Soy-based biodiesel (B100) trades for $5.35 a gallon.

Some of the many benefits of Jatropha plantations include:

Jatropha grows well even on marginal/saline/acidic/alkaline soils and sloped lands.

Jatropha develops without much care and irrigation.

Jatropha grows even in dry-land farming and drought conditions.

Jatropha generates rural employment for cultivation, seed collection, and processing.

Jatropha needs hardly any application of pesticide.

A Jatropha plantation will generate net income for 35-40 years.

Jatropha improves soil fertility throughout their life-cycle.

Jatropha possesses medicinal as well as other multiple uses (e.g. various lubricants).

Jatropha creates green cover for long term ecological benefits.

Jatropha enhances energy security for the country.

"Prime growing areas for Jatropha are located in most of the countries in Latin America," said Aziz Hirji, CEO of Amelot Holdings Inc. "In Latin America, we are strategically positioned to maximize our Jatropha oil production."

ok, based on revenue - say it will do $100M (100M gal x $5 = $500M - take only 20% of expected)

$100M / 2B = $.05
25% margin eps = $.05 X .25 = $.0125

pps $.0125 X 15 = $.1875

Ok - .1875 - .27 is fine with me...

Boeing and Continental Airlines will test plane with biofuel
By Ángel González

Seattle Times business reporter

Continental Airlines wants to fuel its jetliners with something more palatable than Texas Tea.

The Houston-based airline is teaming up with Boeing and engine maker GE Aviation to test a plane powered by a new generation of renewable fuels, the companies said Thursday.

The agreement makes Continental the first major U.S. airline to formally dabble in alternative energy, a trend that gains momentum as crude oil prices soar beyond their historical record. The airline industry, which accounts for 2 percent of global carbon emissions, is high on the watchlist of environmentalists and regulators concerned about global warming.

"Exploring sustainable biofuels is a logical and exciting new step in our environmental commitment," said Continental executive Mark Moran in a statement.

The flight, scheduled for the first half of 2009, will be Boeing's third joint biofuel demonstration with an airline.

Last month Boeing and British airline Virgin Atlantic flew a 747 from London to Amsterdam, with one engine powered by a mix of 80 percent jet fuel and 20 percent biofuel based on coconut and babassu oil. The biofuel was provided by Seattle-based Imperium Renewables.

Boeing also plans a flight with Air New Zealand in the second half of this year.

The tests are part of an industrywide effort to find a biofuel that works while being environmentally and economically sustainable, said Boeing director of environmental strategy Bill Glover in a conference call with reporters.

Common alternative fuels based on corn, soybean and palm oil have been criticized because it takes enormous amounts of water and land to produce them; in addition, higher demand for these staples is disrupting food prices.

That's why the airline industry is focusing on so-called second-generation biofuels, based on marginal or experimental crops such as algae, switchgrass and jatropha.

In the upcoming Continental flight, the companies will look at different, more advanced biofuels that in the Virgin Atlantic test, with a blend ratio ranging from 20 to 50 percent, said Glover. The Air New Zealand flight will also test another set of biofuels, he added.

"This is very much in the experimental stage; we don't have all the answers yet," Glover said.

A viable biofuel would be the Holy Grail of the airline industry, whose carbon footprint is poised to grow as demand for air travel skyrockets. Besides the soaring cost of fossil fuels, government-mandated greenhouse gas emission limits could make flying airplanes more costly.

The International Air Transport Association has proposed building a zero-emissions aircraft within 50 years. Many analysts think that lofty goal is unattainable, but increased biofuel use, combined with other measures, could help keep emissions in check.

Airlines are also modernizing their fleets with more fuel-efficient planes, and seeking better traffic management on the ground and in the air to minimize travel time.

"This is a global challenge that calls for global solutions," said Glover. "People want to travel — and technology is really a key to enabling that to happen."

**CONFIRMED AMHD JATROPHA PLANTATIONS**

I would like to confirm my post last week on Pan Am Biofuel's connection with AMHD from the BioDiesel Magazine with RECOPE (Costa Rica's National Oil Company).

I called Pan Am Biofuels (www.panambiofuels.com) and spoke with Peter Knight ... their contact info is located on their website. He confirmed their presence in Costa Rica (again) AND their connection with AMHD (and Mr. Aziz). He CONFIRMED their is a contract in place where AMHD receives ALL proceeds from the sale of the CJO(Crude Jatropha Oil) to RECOPE!!

Please check my post
http://investorshub.advfn.com/boards/read_msg.asp?message_id=27581778

THE GOOD STUFF

I proceeded to dig more and verify this claim. Well guess what it is TRUE.

1) First I went to the equivalent of the SOS in Costa Rica, I also went to the Costa Rican yellow pages ...
http://www.113digital.grupoice.com:8080/ice-wp/IDA2?IDAERROR=&QRY=all&CTRY=crc&L ANG=es&PAGE=simpleSearch&LIP=simpleSearch&ACTION=search&STP=S&REQ=20&RNG=country &BCP=&GIV=&NAM=Pan-Am&Submit=Buscar
Guess what!

 -
2) Pan Am Biofuels S.A. is registered as an official company in Liberia, Costa Rica ... the phone number is listed in the phonebook. SO I proceeded to call and spoke with the Costa Rican office. Found out where their plantation and nursery is ... it is located in BAGACES, COSTA RICA down the road on highway 1. Here are several satellite images! ENJOY!

The chart is looking very nice....I like the decreasing volume on the downtick days! This shows that people don't want to sell. What this stock needs is an increase in volume to continue with the up trend. It also needs to close above .0024! It looks like that is a pretty strong wall from the 10th and 11th. The two negative days will make a pennant formation if this happens!

Watching closely!

SO the're saying that the pps at the end of the year should be .0054?

Posted by joeyisthebest on :

Nile there are many stocks trading for $10 plus that don't make money I don't think thats an accurate projection for the pps most stocks trade at a multiple of earnings not earnings added into there current pps. example FCEL negative earnings trading for over $5 per share.

Posted by joeyisthebest on :

Nile .0032 times probably about 3 minimum if they actually make that money should be where this stock is traded. Should see some good action EPS you have to use a multiple on can't just add it into the PPS.

Posted by Nile on :

I know its projected earning and I know for big boys you use the multiplier but it seems to NEVER work for the pennies. Just my experience...

Another thing, if this is true why has the pps not blown out the roof on this one? By your predictions woudln't this news destroy the level of pps?

wrong math [Wink]
projected eps * industry multiplier
like .0032 * 15 (at least)

Nile before the PPS would move near a 3X earnings price there would have to be a posted quarter showing the actual profit specualtion only gets you so far.

AMHD not a reporting company tho so no way to know if they would ever post results but I am sure if they had something close or better then $.0008 earnings per share they would put out a PR or something [Smile]

The cost for fossil fuel will keep rising as the world’s population increases and more countries become consumer driven nations. The world’s limited supply of oil and gas can not keep up with this demand. The days of cheap gas and low utility bills will become nostalgic memories, but one company, Pan-Am Biofuels Inc., is here to help alleviate the burden.

“When fuel prices rise, so do the profits from your biofuel trees.”

There are investments that can be made by the average consumer that can offset this rising expense. One such investment is in bio-fuels, and in particular, Jatropha trees that provides the feedstock for creating bio-fuel. It is possible to completely eliminate the total cost of your fuel usage for a one time small investment with Pan-Am Biofuels, Inc.

So what are Jatropha trees?

Jatropha is a “perennial”, lasting up to 50 years without replanting. Jatropha can be cultivated on arid and semi-arid, non-agricultural land. This means growing Jatropha never has to compete with growing food. On a per-acre basis, Jatropha can yield up to 10 times the amount of oil as other sources of biodiesel feedstock like soybeans and canola.

The seeds of a Jatropha tree can produce about 1 gallon of bio-fuel per year at full production. The average person with one car drives about 12,500 miles per year at 22mpg. An investment of $2500 in Jatropha trees equates to about 750 Jatropha trees which yields about 750 gallons of biodiesel.

Bio-fuel is not the only product that is produced from a Jatropha tree. There are numerous other uses that are extracted or made from this sustainable perennial. Fertilizer from the seed cake remains after the oil is pressed; medicines from the seeds, the bark as a source of dye, and glycerin are just examples.

Pan-Am Investment Program

Investing to offset your fuel cost is a good start, but if you invest on a larger scale; an investment in Jatropha trees can have you retiring early. At full production, your annual rate of return should exceed 45% and that is annually, year after year, for the next 40 or 50 years. Instead of a $2,500 dollar investment, what if you invested $100,000?

An investment in Pan-Am Biofuel’s contract Jatropha farming program is very much hands free. They do all the work for you including providing the land, planting, caring for, harvesting and processing the bio oils. They have also signed contracts with Amelot Holdings, Inc. (PINKSHEETS: AMHD) to purchase all of the bio-feedstock produced.

“Jatropha tree ownership will create millions of dollars in equity and profits for savvy investors that have the foresight to recognize that ground floor opportunities are the only place where real wealth is made!”

Jatropha Biofuels Technologies (JBTI), a wholly owned subsidiary of Amelot Holdings, Inc. (Pink Sheets:AMHD) and DynaSep LLC are pleased to announce, after six months of extensive testing and research, that the Continuous Liquid Hydrocarbon Extraction (CLHE(r)) system has completed its initial tests. The testing occurred over the past several weeks and initial results are very positive.

The CHLE(r) has proven in lab tests to produce up to 30% of the weight of the Jatropha seed where the normal expeller process produces much less. This represents over 20% total output increase over extraction technology currently available.

The new process involves high pressure gas and gravity to maximize the amount of oil from every seed. Currently, the most common method to extract Jatropha oil is an expeller that was not originally designed for Jatropha; moreover, it is a manual system. The new technology developed jointly by JBTI and DynaSep is the first of its kind to use high pressure gas. Additionally, the new process is green friendly and highly automated.

"The preliminary tests were entirely successful," said Aziz Hirji, President and CEO of Amelot Holdings Inc. "One of the primary hindrances to using Jatropha as biodiesel feedstock has been inefficient, expensive, and environmentally unfriendly extraction processes. But through our joint-efforts with DynaSep, we are confident that we have solved many of these issues. Our solution represents the most effective Jatropha extraction process currently available."

Located in Newark, Delaware, DynaSep has a long innovative and profitable history of developing, fabricating, testing, and deploying systems for liquefied and supercritical gas extraction.

Brian Waibel, President of DynaSep noted: "The process we have developed in conjunction with JBTI extracts oil much more effectively and efficiently than conventional Jatropha oil recovery methods. We look forward to continuing this invaluable research together with JBTI."
