Homeland Security Group Announces New Combat Casualty Care (TC3V1) Bag Order
Accelerated Military Demand for TC3 Combat Lifesaver Bag Expected in Coming Months
Homeland Security Group International (PINKSHEETS: HMSG) announced today that its Products Division has received an order for the purchase of one thousand Combat Casualty Care Bags (TC3V1) from a Prime Vendor to the US Army.

The company credited Recon Mountaineer's aggressive design adaptation philosophy that has contributed to the US Army Medical Material Agency's adoption of the TC3V1 (BAG, TC3, COMBAT CASUALTY CARE NSN 6545015370686) as a standard component of the new Combat Lifesaver Bag system for US Army Medics replacing the currently carried nylon tri-fold bag.

The recently released US Army Medical Material Agency directive lists the Combat Lifesaver Bag (TC3) as a standard element of the new assemblage being shipped to non-medical commands for use by all US Army medics. Active-Duty, Reserve and National Guard medics can now order the TC3 bags through their local medical supply chain. The adoption of the TC3 bag offers a strong improvement over the previous nylon tri-fold bag issued to Army medics.

The roll-out of the TC3 bag will contribute to standardization of equipment throughout the US Army and is anticipated to lead to a significant increase in TC3 orders. In addition, the US Navy Corpsmen working with the US Marine Corps have been exposed to, and are utilizing, the identical bag under the nomenclature of the Combat Trauma Bag.

With over 40,000 medics in the US Army and 20,000 medics in the other services, HMSG should see significant increases in bag orders from the military, according to Colonel Jeffrey Powers USMC (Ret), CEO of HMSG. In addition, there should be a commensurate increase in orders for Forward Surgical Teams, Combat Support Hospitals, Battalion Aid Stations and other rear echelon care facilities.

"This order along with the Army Medical Material Agency document signals that the US Army is primed to purchase several thousand TC3s as the backbone for their improved casualty care system," commented Colonel Powers of HMSG. "Our joint venture partner RM has conducted liaison with the prime vendors, the Defense Logistics Agency, the Army Medical Material Agency and manufacturers to ensure fulfillment of orders and deployment of the bags to ordering units. Our main priority is getting this essential equipment into the hands of lifesavers worldwide."

During the meetings HMSG outlined technology advancements designed to enhance the safety, security and lethality of deployed forces. The company also outlined its plans to kickoff a nationwide fundraising drive to assist wounded troops and the families of service members killed in combat.

"This visit was a follow up from our last trip where we briefed house leadership on alternative compounds and technologies available to help better protect our troops and their mechanized transport equipment from the threat of high velocity rounds. We definitely got the attention of military leadership and they requested follow on meetings to be scheduled immediately," commented Mark Wilson, Chief Operating Officer of HMSG.

HMSG will also be assisting the "Freedom Is Not Free" organization kick off their inaugural "Breakfast With Heroes" fund raising event in Washington DC. The fund raising event has received wide support from both the Senate and House of Representatives and the military.

Like most of these penny stocks, HMSG has a very high O/S. There are very few ways to solve this problem. The most used one is the reverse split. It does no harm to the company, but destroys shareholder value. That said, this company has a history of reverse splits, and there is no reason to think there wont be another one. Companies like this could make the shareholder value go up by making profits, but would rather raise money by selling more and more shares. And when that happens you can bet there will be another reverse split. Myself, I sold all of this before the last split and got out with my skin intact. From now on, I will not buy a company with a high O/S, because they all seem to operate the same way, and will never show a profit for any investor. This is only my opinion, and you should do your own DD and form your own conclusions.

Ed, Thank You. I still believe in the product. If management had gotten all the red tape out of the way in time for their bullet proof vest to be in consideration for the last big contract our troops would be safer and this stock would be through the roof. If the management problems of the past are rectified this product will make money. Glenn

Those are some mighty big "ifs". I still expect to see a R/S, regardless of what management says. There are darn few other ways to get the O/S under control.

Posted by bfthunter on :

Ed, you may very well be correct. What Im trying to convey is this stock represents a valid product that works and is proven to do so well. That in itself is more than many of the stocks represented here. I hope you are wrong that the persons representing the management arent interested in making money for us. Time will tell. Thanks again.

I just got in and didnt see this posted.
SAN DIEGO, CA--(MARKET WIRE)--Jan 29, 2007 -- Colonel Jeffrey A. Powers, CEO of Homeland Security Group International, Inc. (Other OTC:HMSG.PK - News) announced today that the company has placed new emphasis on lightweight ballistic armor and has received testing certification for its lightweight composite level IV armor.

Source: Homeland Security Group International

The company announced that concurrent with its receipt of level IV certification from HP White testing laboratories, it has been awarded a contract to supply Navy Units with level IV lightweight ballistic armor and vest systems.

"We received word last week from our joint venture partner Protective Solutions LLC of the certifications arriving. At the same time we were in final phases of contract negotiation with Navy units to supply them with ballistic vest systems," commented Colonel Powers. "It all seemed to come together at the same time. The day we received word that our armor had passed testing, we also received word that we had been issued 5 separate National Stock Numbers by the Marine Corps for armoring kits for Light Armored Vehicles. That same day we secured the Navy contract for personnel equipment including ballistic vest systems."

HMSG's Ballistic Division's focus has been to find a lighter armor solution that will protect personnel from high velocity rounds without sacrificing efficiency caused by the increased weight of the currently fielded systems. HMSG and their partner Protective Solutions LLC have been conducting concurrent testing with other materials to increase survivability of wheeled and tracked vehicles.

The company feels this is the beginning of many new ballistic contracts and equipment purchases by the Navy and Marine Corps. "We now have eleven different armoring options available to the military for their vehicles. We have worked hard this past year to ensure our data was sound and our products would stop the bullets we said they would. We now see the fruits of our labor in the form of orders for equipment," concluded Powers.

Testing data, NSN and certifications will be posted on the HMSG website at www.hstinc.us.

"We have demonstrated that this material can stop multiple strikes from 7.62 high velocity rifle rounds, has passed the government's mandatory requirement for HP White standards and the military has assigned National Stock Numbers (NSNs) to our various configurations. We have demonstrated our revolutionary technology and the military knows our products work .We are serious about saving lives."

The $1.3 million dollar contract was for the purchase of 1041 ballistic blankets in each of the twelve different configurations.

Homeland Security Group International Announces Extended 6000psi Bottle for EBD-1
Friday March 16, 6:12 am ET

SAN DIEGO, CA--(MARKET WIRE)--Mar 16, 2007 -- Colonel Jeffrey A. Powers, CEO of Homeland Security Group International, Inc. (Other OTC:HMSG.PK - News) announced today that HMSG has received confirmation from their manufacturer of high pressure bottle systems that an extended 6000psi bottle has been developed for the EBD-1 and has passed testing and is ready for production. HMSG expects this new bottle to extend the air time to 30 minutes needed for NIOSH certification for mine safety applications.

HMSGs bottle manufacturer is working feverishly to attain NIOSH certification needed to obtain favorable consideration by mine safety officials intending to spotlight the EBD-1 at the upcoming National Mine Rescue Team Competition in Carlin, NV on April 20 - 21.

"We are confident that our unit will far exceed the capabilities of currently issued emergency breathing apparatus used for mine safety," commented Colonel Jeffrey Powers, CEO of HMSG. "We are hardening the tubing on the current EBD-1 to make it more rugged for mine safety applications. This is a much smaller, lighter, more user friendly device than the one currently in use in mines," continued Powers. "The EBD is a self contained breathing apparatus and doesn't filter air but rather supplies breathable air.

During recent demonstrations, officials were very excited. The mine safety officials have requested follow on meetings to discuss placing a supply of units and air bottles in newly manufactured "safe rooms" of mines to be used in case of emergencies underground.

The 6000psi bottle and its extended air capacity comes as an added benefit from design modifications currently underway for the EBD-2. Minor modifications to the valve system of the current EBD-1 are underway to adapt the new extended life air bottle to the existing 1st stage regulator. The manufacturer has also forwarded DOT HAZMAT certification certificates for these bottles: Reg. No: 062304 700 038MO.

BUSINESS OPERATIONS

Homeland Security Technology, Inc. (HST) is the wholly owned operating division of Homeland Security Group International, Inc. HST is comprised of three operating divisions: the Product Division, Security Division and the Ballistics Division.

PRODUCT DIVISION

COMBAT TRAUMA BAG -- Under the product division, HST is marketing the Combat Trauma Bag to the US military. Currently, we have received and completed orders to the US government for 11,000 Combat Trauma Bags. We are actively pursuing contracts with the US Marine Corps and US Army for additional CTBs and are in the process of developing other innovative products for use by military and law enforcement personnel.

COMBAT INFANTRY BREACHER KIT

Working In conjunction with the Marine Corps Systems Command, HST has developed the Combat Infantry Breacher's Kit (CIBT) consisting of tools and equipment used by the Marine Corps for rapid entry and extrication. HST has received a contract to provide the Marine Corps with standard breacher's kits and is actively marketing the breacher's kits to law enforcement and ffire departments.

GPS SYSTEMS

HST has completed field testing of the hand-held GPS units with Iraq street maps. This testing was conducted by civilian contractors and military units in Iraq. The units were based on a Magellan Sportrac model. After-action reports led to a second-generation, hand-held GPS based on a Garmin model. This new model has increased functionality, color screen, larger field of view and more maps. The new unit also has built-in functions for updating maps and routing capabilities. HST has received numerous contracts to provide these models to Marine Corps and US Army units operating in Iraq and Afghanistan. The US government continues to be the is the target customer for these units.

SECURITY SYSTEMS DIVISION

PowerShield Safety and Security Film -- HST's management team has done exhaustive research in the area of ballistics and blast mitigation. Our management team has consulted with the world's leading experts in this field and has recently entered into a strategic relationship with a global industrial conglomerate. This agreement is focused on commercializing certain technology designed to address the ever-increasing threat and safety risk associated the collateral damage emanating from explosive blasts and firearms. HST has privately labeled the laminate and is marketing the product under the name "PowerShield."

PowerShield is a paper-thin, woven Poly Carbonate, adhesive-backed film that, when applied to the inside of glass, makes the glass nearly impenetrable to attack. Marketed as both a blast mitigant and an invisible barrier against smash-and-grab-type attacks, this product has passed testing by the GSA, NIJ and Blast Mitigation Action Group. By bonding to the glass, PowerShield creates an invisible barrier to attackers by strengthening the glass and holding it together to reduce the risk of injury caused by glass fragmentation.

HST has placed the laminate on military vehicles at Camp Pendleton, and is sending pre-cut paste-and-stick kits to Marine Corps units in Iraq for testing. HST has also placed the laminate on jewelry store windows and Chevron gas station Food Mart convenience store windows.

HST is marketing this product to government and civilian markets.

CLOSED CIRCUIT TV AND SURVEILLANCE SYSTEMS

HST markets and coordinates the installation of security systems for homeland security markets, including commercial, residential and government clients. Currently, HST has a strategic alliance with a leading residential and commercial security and surveillance company, with advanced systems in place throughout the country.

This security system has been installed in some of the leading retail chains in the country, and HST, through its strategic partners, can offer the technology, manufacturing and financial capability to provide security systems on a nationwide basis for Fortune 1000 companies. Target markets include remote surveillance systems for convenience stores, retail chains, fast-food outlets and other multi-facility organizations.

HST is marketing a web-based remote surveillance system allowing management to remotely view operations from anywhere in the world via secure server technology. Features include pan-and-tilt cameras; night optics; audio interactivity; and compressed, archiveable storage capability with instant retrieval. This technology fills a much-needed void in the security industry. Having the technological capability to remotely monitor multiple facilities from one location has tremendous advantages over systems where the data is stored in each individual site. Reducing the terrorism threat; controlling employee shrinkage; and reducing theft, vandalism and crime are huge concerns in corporate America. The technology is a cost-effective solution to mitigating the damage and economic loss associated with these security risks.

PHYSICAL AND SITE SECURITY

HST has established a physical security division consisting of uniformed and plain clothes guards and protective agents who can be deployed during natural or manmade disasters to provide security for people and possessions. Named "Emergency Response Teams" (ERT), these teams of trained and licensed officers are totally self supported and can sustain operations up to thirty days.

During the recent elevation of the Department of Homeland Security threat level, HST's ERT teams were deployed at the Coronado Ferry Landing to assist the US Coast Guard provide security for Ferry passengers.

In the aftermath of Hurricane's Katrina and Rita, HST deployed ERTs to Louisiana and Texas and assisted local state and federal agencies by providing security and logistical support for insurance company mobile response units dispatched to assist victims in the area.

Gulf States Security Alliance (GSSA)

Working closely with federal emergency management, HST has established and is managing the GSSA, made up of security agencies licensed to provide security services in Texas, Louisiana, Mississippi, Alabama and Florida. HST has had several meetings with local, state and federal emergency management agencies and participated in briefings with officials at the emergency command posts during the recent hurricanes. GSSA is registered as a response unit in five states and will has established dual working headquarters in Texas and California.
