NAEG Announces Oil Sale and Purchase Agreement with Shell

Canada NewsWire "All News "

FOREST HILLS, N.Y., October 3 /CNW/ - Native American Energy Group, Inc. (the "Company" or "NAEG") (OTC Pink Sheets: NVMG) is pleased to announce it has signed an Oil Sale and Purchase Agreement (SPA) with Shell Trading (US) Company (Shell), and is to begin supplying high-gravity oil from its producing wells in N.E. Montana to Shell immediately.

Shell Trading buys and sells several million barrels of hydrocarbons per day in physical markets, making it one of the largest petroleum supply and trading organizations in the industry. The above SPA was consummated in August, subsequent to the sample testing, approval and purchase, by Shell, of NAEG's initial oil production from the Tribal 7-A and COX 7-1 wells located on the Fort Peck Indian Reservation. Said contract shall be ongoing, and the purchase price adjusted-to-market at regular intervals during which unlimited period, Shell will acquire all future oil production from all NAEG wells in Montana.

Raj Nanvaan, Vice President and CFO of Native American Energy Group, stated, "We are pleased that Shell Trading was enthusiastic about being our buyer. This represents NAEG's first sale of oil to the North American oil market. We look forward to this relationship with Shell on our Montana project, and believe both Native American Energy Group and Shell will benefit from this interaction. I am happy to report to shareholders and investors, alike, that Native American Energy Group is firmly and uniquely positioned, today, in our niche. The nation's demand for energy has increased as a result of factors like the booming economy, high population growth, industrialization and urbanization. There is increasing demand for oil and natural gas as a consequence of this increase in demand for energy."

Joseph D'Arrigo, President and CEO of Native American Energy Group further commented, "By design, NAEG has gained the geographical advantage to help meet this demand for oil & natural gas by acquiring an infrastructure and inventory of historically producing wells in the oil & gas rich, Williston Basin region; while at the same time, NAEG's production results, I am very pleased to say, also benefit local Native American tribal communities and landowners whom are in need of revenues from those resources. This has become our "niche," as we were invited to do. As an independent energy company in current production on tribal land, we, at NAEG, aim at meeting the energy demand of our country by means of these oil and gas development projects, as well as, contributing to the economic well-being & long-term stability of all of Montana's native tribes that are involved. Therefore, NAEG carries on studies, acquires and develops prospective leases, and reaches agreements with natural gas and oil suppliers such as Shell to help meet this increasing demand. We will continue with the good work we have started here, as NAEG strives to meet its production schedule."

Investor Relations

Outlook
Native American Energy Group is a publicly traded, independent oil & gas exploration, development and production company listed on the NASDAQ OTC Pink Sheets Market. The company currently owns leases on oil & gas properties in the Williston Basin in Northeastern Montana. The properties being leased and acquired have proven track records and have previously shut-in or abandoned wells on the land. Well logs and drilling data are fully reviewed before further pursuing a potential lease.

In addition to acquiring previously shut-in and abandoned wells, our company has aggressively acquired a significant amount of acreage over the Bakken Formation in the Williston Basin which the Oil & Gas industry is now calling the largest oil find in the continential U.S in the last 50 years. For more information on this formation, kindly visit the Wall Street Journal article at the following link:
Wall Street Journal - Montana Oil Boom

Our company is still acquiring additional Bakken acreage along with enhancing & reactivating our portfolio of historically producing oil & gas wells. The company intends to drill a group of Bakken wells in the year 2007.

Financial Disclosures
NAEG has retained the services of a New York accounting firm and is currently preparing their 2005 financial statement which will include audited financials. The company intends to make application to the OTC Bulletin Board or American Stock Exchange in the year 2007 after it has reached a set goal of production and qualifies for listing on either market or exchange. Once the audited financials are complete, they will be availabe for viewing on pinksheets.com until the company files any such registration statement with the U.S. Securities & Exchange Commission. The company understands that it may not be in its best interest to take on the obligation of complying with the Sarbanes-Oxley Act until the Board of Directors deems fit to do so. However, the Board of Directors of the company intend to utilize the OTCQX, a premium quotation, trading, and disclosure service for OTC securities trading on the Pink Sheets.

There are First Oil companies, "Shell oil" and then secondary oil companies, "PGPM". For Shell oil to be doing business with these guys the amount of oil must exceed a certain amount. Typically they will sell a lease that is not producing enough oil. It cost them so much per day to keep the Oil Derrick there, and if there is another location that surpasses, they will move it. This is HUGE fellas. I feel when the details of the contract come out; this could be well into $1 land. [Smile]

Wolf Pt Linked to Canadian Oil-Sands: Montana's Governor Proposes Oil Refinery in Heart of NAEG Operations

FOREST HILLS, N.Y.--(BUSINESS WIRE)--Sept. 20, 2006--Native American Energy Group, Inc. "Said contract shall be ongoing, and the purchase price adjusted-to-market at regular intervals during which unlimited period, Shell will acquire all future oil production from all NAEG wells in Montana".

Hopefully an EOD run which sets up a gapper tomorrow.

Posted by invester on :

This is from the previous PR. Looks like big things to come. Shell is getting in on the action early. I think this could be a BIG runner.

Native American Energy Group is focused on its acquisition and well-development program in accordance with its business plan. As it stands, NAEG is currently acting on more than 100 bid awards on oil & gas land leases from the U.S. Department of Interior - BIA (Bureau of Indian Affairs) which are described as, in-process. In addition, the Company announced today that within the last six months NAEG has been approached by a foreign investment group that has proposed financing the construction of a new oil refinery in Northeastern Montana. As a result of on-going discussions, NAEG management has contacted Evan Barrett, Chief Energy Officer of the Schweitzer administration. Native American Energy Group's role would be to manage the facility and is to include part ownership, however, such a development, should it occur, would not trigger a shift from the Company's main focus.

NAEG Acquires Historic Shell Oil ``Discovery'' Well
Tuesday September 19, 1:20 pm ET

FOREST HILLS, N.Y.--(BUSINESS WIRE)--Sept. 19, 2006--Native American Energy Group, Inc. (the "Company" or "NAEG") (OTC Pink Sheets: NVMG - News) is pleased to announce the acquisition of the Beery oil lease. The lease contains the Beery 42-24 which is a stepout from the N.P. No.1 that was initially drilled by Shell Oil. The N.P. No.1 was the wildcat strike that became Shell's "discovery" well for the eastern Montana part of their Williston Basin drilling program that commenced May 10, 1951, and actually marked the beginning of the boom. Other than historic value, NAEG's team of geologists had identified the Beery Well and the Richey Field, on which it is located, as strategically important acquisitions that will enhance the position of the Company, according to thorough data assessment and geological evaluation performed. The Company has agreed to reactivate the entire Richey Field.

The Richey Field was discovered by Shell Oil with completion of the Beery 42-24. Shell drilled a total of 12 wells in this field of which 10 wells were completed with flowing rates between 200 to 2600 barrels of oil per day. The Beery 42-24 was the best well in this field with an initial flow potential of 5,378 barrels of oil per day. By 1960, Shell Oil sold the field to independent operators due to problems dealing with the accumulation of paraffin. The operators attempted to deal with the paraffin problem by applying hot oiling methods to demulsify the wax. Such methods used to provide very high production for short periods of time and then plugged up the production again. The operators were lucky to keep these wells pumping a fourth of the time with increased workover rig operations, hot oiling, equipment repairs and heavy expenses. The operators finally abandoned the field in 1995.

NAEG's proprietary, enhanced recovery technology has been very successful with paraffin. The last two wells completed in August had similar paraffin problems. After the treatment, the paraffin was cleared up and the there was a 1200% increase in production on the first well and 1500% on the second well. The Company plans to enhance and reactivate these wells using the same treatment.

that makes no sense lol

Posted by invester on :

So they abandoned it in 1995 when crude was $8 a barrel. And now that its $70, the 2600 barrels per day sound pretty tempting. So we could be looking at $182,000 per day? That’s $66,000,000 a year on just this one well? Am I reading this right? Man am I glad I bought this one.

There are total 10-12 wells out there in that area. These looked like Shell sold to independent contractors due to parafin problems...

NVMG has tech stuff which cleared this and BOOOOM...Shell comes back to strike a deal with them

Each well does 200-2500 BBD.

Lets say on an average

700 BBD * 10 * 70 = 490000 per day

490000 * 30 days * 12 months = 176,400,000

Lets say Float is

4m per pink sheet info

Lets say we take 200 m then

pps = .882 per share

And still more wells in hand...and Shell contract already ... My head is spinning...Unless
Iam way off the float....May be many people does not know about this yet...

Wolf Pt Linked to Canadian Oil-Sands: Montana's Governor Proposes Oil Refinery in Heart of NAEG Operations
Wednesday September 20, 10:03 am ET

FOREST HILLS, N.Y.--(BUSINESS WIRE)--Sept. 20, 2006--Native American Energy Group, Inc. (the "Company" or "NAEG") (OTC Pink Sheets: NVMG - News), a publicly traded, independent energy company operating out of Wolf Point on the Fort Peck Indian Reservation in Northeast Montana, reports today on some enthralling news from the Governor's office. (Due to length, the URL above may need to be copied/pasted into your Internet browser's address field. Remove the extra space if one exists.)

To Native American Energy Group, Inc. that had set up its infrastructure on the Fort Peck Indian Reservation two years ago, the strategic direction taken by the state to increase industry and vitality with the addition of a new oil refinery at Wolf Point, an area that is already the trade center for Northeast Montana, can mean several things... greater energy development to the area in which the Company operates its energy business, evolving opportunity, along with an expanding local economy, provided that there is acceptance of the change, which is crucial. The Fort Peck Tribes play a large role in the decisions and the economy of Wolf Point.

The breadth, pace, and extent to which Montana will expand its electricity and oil & gas capacities are of primary interest to Dirs., Joseph D'Arrigo and Raj Nanvaan of the Native American Energy Group as co-founders of NAEG and currently CEO and CFO, respectively. In January of this year they met with several members of Governor Schweitzer's administration regarding the administration's energy plans, and they presented the Company's own energy-development agenda before the State Tribal Affairs Committee at a televised meeting of the State/Tribal Relations Interim Legislative Committee. NAEG is committed to strengthening Native American communities in tune with their own goals and needs by (1) maximizing oil & gas production on tribal lands through enhanced oil recovery techniques; and (2) by the implementation of renewable-energy resource solutions; (3) by building energy-efficient, affordable housing; and (4) by offering education, training & jobs to qualified individuals from among the reservations.

NAEG acknowledges with gratitude CBS NEWS for its live coverage of the event and for carrying the following NAEG feature story to its viewers. Interested parties can view the CBS News clip at the following link: http://www.nativeamericanenergy.com/naegcbsnews.zip

(This link is a ZIP file where you can download the file, unzip it using WinZip or WinRAR (go to download.com to download the software), save it and then open the media file with the appropriate software you wish to use to open the file.)

CEO Joseph D'Arrigo stated, "I've truly benefited from the discussions that took place earlier this year regarding the administration's long-term economic and energy policy, and our own. I am sure NAEG can be considered a valued partner to these energy-development initiatives of the Governor and his administration that are aimed at bring prosperity to the various areas in which we operate. While NAEG's success is not contingent upon the addition of a refinery, in and of itself, the implication is more so a case of our Company being part of the evolving opportunities that arise here, and that we are helping to bring about as a company to this area, and to the tribal communities and, of course, this includes receiving our due of recognition for same. We have worked hard to achieve a strong presence in Fort Peck, while exhibiting steady growth by doing what we said we would do. I am reminded of George Bush, Sr. who was up through here gathering oil & natural gas leases when he was younger than I am. The NAEG team has also been knocking on the doors of landowners just as George was, but we are still at it going on six years now, so it good to see that everyone is rowing in the same direction. The Schweitzer administration's push for energy development, overall, including renewable energy resource solutions in Eastern Montana is confirmatory of NAEG's business model, and can certainly only impact the Company in very positive ways going forward. Finally, we thank Governor Schweitzer for his strong leadership role. It is my belief that he will be responsible for having put Montana on track to becoming one of the richest states in America."

The Company announced today that prevailing international, state and local trends favor a more robust energy and economic environment in Montana, especially in the Northeast quadrant, and this, it says is helping to maximize economic development opportunities for NAEG already. Specifically, the proposed NAFTA "Superhighway" or "International Mid-Continent Trade and Transportation Corridor" as it has been called by the media that is to run through N.E. Montana and that is designed to connect Mexico, Canada, and the U.S. into one transportation system is being seen as a definite catalyst to the Company's growth. As proposed, it is to be a superhighway system four football-fields-wide, like a giant corridor, including high-speed freight rail lines, and pipelines for oil & natural gas laid alongside, running north from Mexico, through the heart of the U.S., passing into and through northeastern Montana and up into Canada that is sure to change the economic landscape wherever it touches. The corridor is said to be necessary to accommodate projected population and trade growth and that it will be beneficial to the economies of the U.S., Mexico and Canada.

About Native American Energy Group, (OTC Pink Sheets: NVMG - News)

Native American Energy Group (NAEG) is a publicly traded, independent energy company that has established its infrastructure and operations on the Fort Peck Indian Reservation in N.E. Montana. NAEG is currently enhancing and reactivating many of the abandoned and previously shut-in oil & gas wells on the Fort Peck Nation from the Company's portfolio of historically producing wells, in a process that can be duplicated across the state or the country. The NAEG business model also encompasses future expansion into the exploration and development of new properties which shall include new drilling programs and additional oil & gas recovery programs in other areas, such as the very prolific Bakken Formation on which NAEG has also acquired several leases. The U.S Energy Department has called the Bakken Formation the highest-producing onshore field found in the lower 48 states in the past 56 years.

(halstead is the former name of native) Apparently she has been getting calls today and is frustrated saying that Halstead declared bankrupcy in 2000 and they must have switched transfer agents because she hasn't heard of any updates since a few years ago?? lol dead end....

More DD
=======

SIDNEY, Mont. -- In the mid-1990s, major oil-exploration companies like Royal Dutch
Shell PLC, Gulf Oil Co. and Texaco Co. were shutting down operations here on the
remote high plains, abandoning hundreds of nonproducing wells and letting their leases
to mineral rights lapse.
Federal and state agencies tracking exploration also considered the region a bust. "I
thought my job was going to be turning out the lights," says Jim Halvorson, geologist for
Montana's Board of Oil and Gas Conservation. In 2000, his office predicted oil
production would rapidly decline toward zero.
But Richard L. Findley, a graying geologist and "wildcat" producer, thought they were all
wrong. He bought up leases on the cheap and helped spark a surprising boom in one of
the most heavily explored oil regions in the country.
Mr. Findley discovered a new field that is now producing 48,000 barrels a day of highquality
crude oil from more than 300 wells. While oil companies have discovered bigger
fields in Alaska and the Gulf of Mexico, this sizeable find is now the highest-producing
onshore field found in the lower 48 states in the past 56 years, according to the U.S.
Energy Department.
The high price of oil, coupled with the call to reduce U.S. dependence on foreign oil, has
sparked debate among policy makers, executives and entrepreneurs about just how much
untapped oil is still out there in the continental U.S., where it is, and how to get it.
Hurricane damage last summer to vast U.S. oil operations in the Gulf of Mexico
heightened interest in onshore fields.
For several years now, major oil companies have taken the approach that there are no
more large fields left to find under American soil. U.S. oil production has dropped from
9.2 million barrels a day in 1973 to about 5.4 million barrels today, and the country now
imports 60% of its oil.
David F. Morehouse, senior geologist with the U.S. Department of Energy's Energy
Information Administration, contends there is more new oil to be found in the continental
U.S. Finding it, he says, will "depend on people doing the data analysis and, quite
frankly, people going in and drilling enough in the right places."
2
Mr. Findley, who is 54 years old, did just that. Now production in this part of eastern
Montana is growing, and new investors are arriving to explore the potential. At least one
midsized firm, Marathon Oil Co., has begun buying leases. Halliburton Co., the big
Houston-based oil-services company, has invested with Mr. Findley. The state says the
proven oil find in the area will likely be in the range of 150 million barrels, hardly what
oil-patch hands call an "elephant," but nevertheless boosting the nation's proven oil
reserves by about 1%.
Some oil folks think there's even more around here. Drillers are finding evidence of a
similarly sized field in western North Dakota. Geologists say both fields are part of a
200,000-square-mile formation known as the "Bakken," which lies under parts of
Montana, the Dakotas and Canada. No one yet knows how much oil can be extracted
from it, but some estimates are sky-high. One federal geochemist who analyzed the
formation estimated it contains 400 billion barrels of oil, while a North Dakota state
geologist said 200 billion. If even the lower estimate is true, and if 10% can be recovered
-- a conservative rule of thumb used by geologists -- the Bakken could eclipse Alaska's
Prudhoe Bay as the largest recent U.S. oil find.
Staying Away
Thus far, the lofty predictions remain unproven, and skeptics remain. Most of the biggest
oil companies are staying away. "Nobody has a good solid fix on this yet," notes Mr.
Morehouse, who says it will take more drilling to determine the true extent of the
Bakken.
While many people associate big oil finds with big companies, over the years about 80%
of the oil found in the U.S. has been brought in by wildcatters such as Mr. Findley, says
Larry Nation, spokesman for the American Association of Petroleum Geologists.
Wildcatters search for oil, nail down drilling rights, then seek money from banks or
bigger companies to extract it.
Mr. Findley grew up in Corpus Christi, Texas, the son of an accountant for a chain of
grocery stores. A brother-in-law, a geologist, hired him as a field assistant to hunt for oil
in west Texas. "I just fell in love with geology," he recalls. He graduated from Texas
A&M University in 1975 and got a job as a geologist with Tenneco Oil Co. In 1983 he
left to found his own Montana-based consulting and exploration company, a one-man
operation.
Three years later, world oil prices crashed, and fluctuating prices dogged Mr. Findley as
he tried to stay in the business. In the 1990s, the majors left the area in the belief that it
was played out. Mr. Findley felt there was more oil to be found and began putting
together small exploration deals.
3
His income had dropped by more
than half to $45,000 a year, and he
wasn't sure how much longer that
would last. "Many times, my wife
and I sat down at the kitchen table
and said, 'What are we going to do
next?' We always came to the same
conclusion. [Geology] is what I
know. This is what I love. So we just
kept going."
Mr. Findley decided to scrutinize the
Bakken formation, which consists of
a thin layer of silt and broken rock
sandwiched between two layers of
oil-bearing shale. The majors had
assumed that oil could be extracted
from the shale, but after finding only
modest amounts, they gave up.
Mr. Findley was interested in the middle layer they had ignored. The majors had
figured this rocky layer was so tightly packed that whatever oil resided there could not be
extracted economically. So they drilled right through it. Reviewing old drilling records,
Mr. Findley concluded the "middle member" held an underground sea of high quality
crude at least 50 miles long and 12 miles wide, which could be tapped using a different
extraction technique.
With help from a real-estate agent named Bob Robinson, Mr. Findley quietly began
buying drilling rights for thousands of acres. Mr. Findley figured that by drilling down
the old holes and then injecting water and sand to make the rock layer more porous -- a
process called "fracking," or fracturing -- the trapped oil would be released. But the job
was too big for his tiny company, which normally explored fields of 300 acres or less.
This job involved at least 300 square miles.
Mr. Findley put together a partnership with Bobby B. Lyle, who heads Lyco Energy
Corp., a small Dallas-based oil-exploration company. In exchange for financing and
drilling expertise, Lyco received a 75% stake. Mr. Lyle says his company was so taken
with Mr. Findley's theory that "none of us had thought much about what to do if it didn't
work."
It didn't work. After drilling down 10 old "dry holes," Lyco found that the process was
releasing oil, but not enough to justify the new drilling. In 1997, when oil dropped to $8 a
barrel, the partners stopped drilling.
4
"We concluded that we were sitting on a lot of oil," says Mr. Lyle, but that conventional
vertical wells couldn't handle the job. "The question was: How do you extract it
commercially?"
He approached Halliburton, which had expertise in a relatively new drilling technique
called horizontal drilling. Using computer-controlled rigs and motorized, directional drill
bits, Halliburton could drill 10,000 feet down, then maneuver the bit to work
horizontally. Messrs. Findley and Lyle figured the process would allow a much bigger
fracking operation. Halliburton decided to take a stake, which none of the partners will
quantify.
Cash from the Halliburton deal allowed Lyco to buy drilling rights to more than 100,000
acres. In May 2000, drillers bored a 10,000-foot vertical well called Burning Tree State
36-2H. That May 26, a fleet of trucks carrying water, sand and diesel engines for fracking
clustered around the drilling rig. Technicians, watching their laptops, turned the drill
horizontally and waited for it to move across the rocky layer. After several hours, one of
them flipped a switch and the oil began flowing up the pipe.
"We watched that well from April to December just to be sure this wasn't a fluke," recalls
Mr. Lyle, an engineer and former dean of Southern Methodist University's business
school. Meanwhile, he was working out plans with Halliburton to drill more horizontal
wells and to buy more drilling rights.
They weren't the only ones watching. Engineers from Headington Oil Co. LP, another
small Dallas-based drilling company working in the area, had hired college students to
count the tank trucks hauling oil from the well. Headington, which had arrived in Sidney
in 1997, was also pondering records of the supposedly dry holes drilled by the majors.
But Headington was drilling into a less productive field than Lyco's, and had had
relatively little success.
When the big Lyco tanker-truck counts came in, Headington began buying more leases.
New oil production in the region "had been dead for so long that we were able to keep
prices very reasonable," recalls Gary Polasek, a Headington geologist and technical
manager.
Under Montana law, six months after the Burning Tree well began producing, Lyco had
to disclose its methods to the state, which caused further scrambling at Headington.
"When their first well came in, we felt we could improve upon it," says Mr. Polasek. His
company hired Schlumberger Ltd., Halliburton's major rival, to work out a way to tap the
Bakken using horizontal drilling and fracking.
There are currently 225 rigs drilling for oil in North America, according to industry
records. Twenty are drilling in the Sidney area and more are coming. Montana records
show 13 oil companies drilling in the Bakken. "They're drilling [wells] as fast as 20 rigs
can drill. We'll probably get 150 new wells a year at this rate, and there are very, very
few dry holes," says Tom Richmond, administrator for Montana's Board of Oil and Gas
Conservation.
5
What's unusual about this boom, says Mr. Richmond, is that small companies like
Headington and Lyco have most of the key acreage tied up in leases. "There's not a lot of
room for other people to get involved," he says. Still, "there are others trying to buy
around the edges in hopes the play will get bigger yet."
A 1999 study by Leigh C. Price, a highly regarded geochemist who worked for the
Denver office of the United States Geological Survey, suggests that it might. Mr. Price
examined 107 old wells in North Dakota and found evidence of unextracted oil in the
broken-rock layer of all of them. He estimated that there were 413 billion barrels of highquality
crude to be found between the two layers of shale -- right where Mr. Findley
found it. But the study by Mr. Price, who died in 2002, was never published.
Julie LeFever, a geologist for the North Dakota Geological Survey, reviewed the same
material used by Mr. Price. Taking a more conservative forecasting approach, she
estimates the Bakken has 200 billion barrels.
Untapped Potential
Some bigger oil companies are hearing the message. "This entire region of the Rockies
holds untapped potential that can contribute much needed supplies to help meet U.S.
demand," says Marathon spokesman Paul Weeditz, though he won't elaborate on the
company's plans for its recent Bakken lease purchases.
In August, Enerplus Resources Fund, a large Canadian investor in oil and gas properties,
bought Lyco and set plans for investing in new wells in the Bakken. Halliburton retains
its stake in the venture.
Shell, which left Sidney in the 1990s, says it is not coming back. "In the 1990s, Shell
exited many onshore properties in order to dedicate resources to the exploration and
development of the deepwater Gulf of Mexico," says a spokeswoman, Kelly op de
Weegh. Since then, she says, Shell has resumed some onshore exploration, but is only
looking for natural gas.
Mr. Findley and his wife, Lynn, still have long discussions over the kitchen table, but
they're no longer about the survival of his tiny Billings company, Prospector Oil Inc.
They're about remodeling their house, which they bought in 1978. That's about the only
sign his neighbors will see that he has become a wealthy man. The rest goes into the
bank, he says. "I'm going to build an estate for my family that will last for a long time to
come."

This seems pretty big to me, I think the market is just now realizing the value of this company. A lot of traders missed it today too, and a lot of folks don't see the news until after work, so I think tomorrow will be good.

This deal with Shell is enough to keep them going for a while, and it seems like they have a lot of other things going on as well. Hopefully others see the PR and then start digging for DD. Once I did, I liked what I saw. This could be a good one. Now we just gotta get the updated share structure...

also, don't know if this has been posted yet cuz there's a lot going on DD-wise in the first 7 pages of this thread but here's something pretty cool:

U.S. Department of Interior and Bureau of Indian Affairs Approve Nationwide Oil & Gas Bond
FOREST HILLS, N.Y., PRNewswire-FirstCall/ -- Native American
Energy Group, Inc. (NAEG) (Pink Sheets: NVMG) announced the approval of its
Nationwide Oil & Gas Bond by the United States Department of Interior (U.S.
DOI) and the Bureau of Indian Affairs (BIA). Being bonded with the U.S. DOI,
Native American Energy Group is now authorized to acquire, operate, develop
and produce oil and gas on all 562 federally recognized tribal reservations
throughout the United States.
Since January 2005, the Company has identified some 200 shut-in oil & gas
wells located on the Fort Peck, Fort Belknap & the Rocky Boy Reservations in
Montana. With the excellent rapport the Company has established with their
tribal councils, directors, and geologists, coupled with the available Montana
Oil and Gas Conservation data, we strongly believe these wells can and will be
brought back to their original production levels through our Enhanced Oil
Recovery (EOR) capabilities. This will establish a quick and strong 10 to 20
year cash flow for the Company. This can also provide unsolicited capital for
continued exploration for new production of oil and gas.
According to the Oil and Gas Journal, the United States had 21.9 billion
barrels of proven oil reserves as of January 1, 2005; eleventh highest in the
world. The U.S Department of Interior said forty Indian reservations own a
large percentage of U.S Oil & Gas reserves. They represent the largest mineral
owners in the country outside the federal government.
Over the past five years, Native American Energy has carefully and
methodically structured its corporate infrastructure to address the needs and
desires of these American Indian Nations by the addition of professional oil
and gas managers who are enrolled members of tribes. Five years of extensive
research and inquiries has provided sufficient data to encourage NAEG to now
step forward and begin development through land lease acquisitions of
favorable geologic locations where seismic data are available and where
geologic studies has provided sound justification to explore. That, coupled
with hundreds of shut-in wells that have produced and an extreme confidence
with the Tribal Council's encouragement, has given the Company a comfort zone
that they feel will develop into a major Independent Oil and Gas Company that
will maximize shareholders investment returns.
Native American Energy has familiarized themselves with the various
tribes, their cultures, organizational structure and protocol. Known to the
Native American community as "The People's Company," NAEG and its founders
have been recognized by key tribal members for their dedication and commitment
to better the economic conditions of such tribes by developing the energy
resources on their reservations. A motivational bi-product is the increase in
employment opportunities. Our engineers and geologists have developed
educational and training programs which will allow tribal members to learn a
trade in the energy industry and help develop the infrastructure of their
Indian reservations.

("NAEG" or the "Company") (OTC Pink Sheets: NVMG) is pleased to announce that the company's founders Joseph D'Arrigo and Raj Nanvaan are meeting with Governor Brian Schweitzer and the State Tribal Affairs Committee on January 23rd in Helena, Montana. Proposed at this meeting at the state's capital is to discuss the region's economic and energy future, and NAEG's role in meeting the Governor's initiatives concerning alternative energy development and his energy policy.

This is just another component at the state and local level that complements NAEG's accomplishments on the Federal level with respect to the Company's business. Monday's meeting with his Honor, Governor Schweitzer, is yet another step forward in the implementation of the Company's business plan consummated with the approval of the Nationwide Oil & Gas Bond by the U.S. Dept of Interior & Bureau of Indian Affairs on August 4th 2005, as well as, the State Multi-Well Blanket Bond by the Montana Board of Oil & Gas Conservation on September 26th 2005.

"Our overriding concern with respect to NAEG's business plan has been to provide Montana's Native American tribes and nations a basis for an immediate and lasting economic viability, and both short-term and long-term stability to those Native American communities. Further, our funding resources of which there are several will be decided with our goals in mind. Preliminary discussions have both local and federal governments excited about the prospects of Native American Energy Group. The invitation by the Montana State Tribal Affairs Committee further exemplifies the anticipation of a successful future for NAEG, and is a culmination of five years of groundwork," stated Joseph D'Arrigo, Chief Executive Officer.

DD: Interesting articles, a little math, & more.

http://www.nativeamericanenergy.com/montanaoilboom.pdf

http://bogc.dnrc.state.mt.us/
http://www.einnews.com/montana/newsfeed-montana-oil

Now, not having gone through all of the past posts, I don't know if anyone's done any math on this company's earning potential... But based upon what I've found so far, I think I'm ready to take a stab at it, and at least nobody can say I've been influenced by anyone else's hype. (or at least, they can say it, but I don't care).

Looks like they haven't started reporting production on the leases yet, and I don't know if that means they just haven't reported but have been producing, or what... but....

Assuming the news today was regarding production from lease #4094
In a good month, for instance, back in April 1991, when the Richey Field wells were producing under another groups guidance,
they produced 220 barrels from the wells that month. Given that the past press releases showed that other wells gained 1200% to 1500% in production after they utilized their proprietary enhanced recovery technology, one might reasonably expect current production to be an average about 3200+ barrels/month (roughly 1350% improvement). At $65 a barrel, that's approx. $207,000 per month in gross revenue from those two wells, or ~$2.49M/year gross.

Assuming that the (COX 7-1) Poplar NW field Lease #2784 is also operating, with the same level of improvement in oilflow, you've got an good month average flow of about 450 barrels/month in 1991. With a 1350% improvement, that's about 6500 barrels/month. At $65 barrell, that's about ~$424,000/month gross, or ~$5.09M/year gross.

Consider also the MASON (7-16) well, lease #467, with a good month average of 200 barrels/month in 1991, with 1350% improvement is 2900 barrels/month, at $65/barrel is ~$189,000/month, or ~$2.26M/year gross.

So from the 4 wells, NAEG (NVMG) is looking at approx. $9.85M+ in gross revenue after 1 year in operation.

HOLY! I don't know what the operating costs are for this type of gig, but this company is about to start making some serious dough, if they haven't been doing it already. Money pouring in from Shell Trading now? What are we trading at today? .02? Laughable...
It would seem to me that PPS could easily be $1.
I'll leave the PE math up to someone more knowledgable on this board.

All I know is, this sucker ain't done running yet!

From PR:
"NAEG's proprietary, enhanced recovery technology has been very successful with paraffin. The last two wells completed in August had similar paraffin problems. After the treatment, the paraffin was cleared up and the there was a 1200% increase in production on the first well and 1500% on the second well. The Company plans to enhance and reactivate these wells using the same treatment. "

Other oil companies in the area to compare to.

Read this ...I think company does not look bad!

NATIVE AMERICAN ENERGY (NAEG)Joseph D'Arrigo, President, CEO, Native
American Energy Group (NAEG), said that NAEGspecializes in locating and
revitalizing abandoned oil fields on and off tribal lands (EXHIBIT#10).
Mr. D'Arrigo discussed the following:·the history of NAEG;·the
mission of NAEG;
------------------------------------------------------------------------------- -
Page 10
-10-·the use of alternative energy by NAEG and that a by-product of
that use is increasedemployment and opportunities for tribal
communities;·the importance of renewable energy in America;·data on
oil and natural gas resources on tribal lands;·Bureau of Indian
Affairs (BIA) data on tribal energy resource potential;·Unites States
Department of Energy reports on oil and gas reserves on tribal
lands;·energy problems facing the United States;·how NAEG assists
communities in reviving their economies; and·how NAEG creates and
values strong relationships with the tribes.Dennis Lambert, Senior Vice
President, NAEG, emphasized that all reservations havesignificant
energy development opportunities. He related several examples of wells
that hadbeen abandoned by major oil companies that were revitalized by
NAEG, to the economic benefitof the tribe that owned the well. He said
it is a tenet of NAEG to work with American Indiantribes and that the
finest experts in the industry have been sought out by NAEG.Tony
Johnson, Director of Operations, NAEG, thanked the Committee for the
opportunity topresent to the State-Tribal Relations Committee and said
there are great opportunities availableto all of the tribes. He said
that searching, developing, and maintaining oil and gas properties isa
risky business but if risk analysis is integrated into the process,
higher profits are achieved. This is a strong point of NAEG because it
wants the same results as the tribe. NAEG is focusedon finding oil and
gas investment properties that offer solid returns with the lowest
amount ofrisk. NAEG experts' research revealed two types of properties
that fit this criteria: shut-inproduction - leases that are not
producing due to economics or the lack of technology; andplugged and
abandoned - wells that have demonstrated very little or no sign of oil
or gas. Inboth cases, there is a small percentage of wells that are
approved for a re-work project. NAEGalso recognizes the amount of
capital required for re-work operations and therefore, purchasedits own
servicing equipment and hired experienced operators. This also allows
time to considercritical well decisions. Many mistakes were made
because of concerns about hourly costs, andNAEG is able to avoid this
type of pressure because it is a self-contained company and doesnot
contract out for rigs and other equipment.Mr. Johnson said that Native
Americans hold approximately 20% of all domestic oil and gasreserves in
the nation today. NAEG feels this group of Americans are being
neglected and holdthe greatest potential for oil and gas production.
NAEG applied through the Department of theInterior and was approved for
a nation-wide bond, which allows it to work on any reservation inthe
nation. NAEG is currently working with the Fort Peck Tribe to acquire
oil and gas propertiesand forsees a long and prosperous relationship
with it. NAEG is committed to hire and trainNative Americans for jobs
to promote economic development. Mr. Johnson said that NAEG isable to
offer state-of-the-art technology and explained several of the new
technologies beingused by NAEG, specifically the problems associated
with the build up of paraffin in wells andthe solution identified by
NAEG. NAEG is able to tackle any situation and has located at least40
good wells that had been termed "dry wells" by other companies.SEN.
O'NEIL said that currently, Montana charges a13% oil severance tax and
the tribescharge a 7% severance tax. He asked if a bill to reduce the
tax would make a difference toNAEG. Raj Nanvaan, Chief Financial
Officer (CFO), said such a bill would definitely make adifference for
NAEG.
------------------------------------------------------------------------------- -
Page 11
-11-Mr. Nanvaan provided his personal business credentials and a
background of his involvementwith NAEG. He said that Indian country
provides a unique investment opportunity and thatNative Americans are
the largest mineral owners in the country. Mr. Nanvaan said he has
spentthe last five years studying Montana's tribes, cultures,
organizational structures, and protocols. NAEG established its presence
on the Fort Peck Reservation in 2005. Since that time, NAEGhas invested
over $1 million in infrastructure in Fort Peck. The million dollars is
a fraction of thefinancial strength of NAEG and NAEG has a strategy to
invest much more in Native Americanoil and gas development. Mr. Nanvaan
said the goals are achievable only with the cooperationof the tribal
governments and that NAEG is open to exploring any community. Mr.
Nanvaansaid that NAEG is very happy to have had the opportunity to
present to the committeeMr. D'Arrigo thanked REP. HENDRICK for
initiating NAEG's presentation to the Committee. Hesaid that members of
the Fort Peck tribe were hired and trained for the project and that
withoutthe cooperation of the Fort Peck Tribe, NAEG would not have
achieved the same level ofsuccess. He also explained certain aspects of
the injection process, saying that it is aproprietary process and only
a handful of companies have the technology to do this process. He said
that he is very proud that NAEG works with integrity and honesty, that
NAEG must beprofitable but also wishes to give back to communities. He
said that NAEG wants to dobusiness in Montana and is willing to travel
to the reservations and work with the tribes.REP. HENDRICK said that
environmental issues are of great importance to Montanans andasked how
NAEG handles environmental issues, such as reclamation. Mr. Johnson
said NAEGmeets all and exceeds many of the reclamation requirements. He
said NAEG plans to correctseveral areas that have been environmentally
neglected on the Fort Peck Reservation. He saidhe is an avid
outdoorsman and that that protecting the environment is important to
him.REP. HENDRICK asked how many full time employees (FTE) have been
hired on the Fort Peckproject and how many are American Indian. Mr.
Nanvaan said that there are currently sixNative American FTE and that
NAEG plans to expand that to as many as 20 per field, but that itis
premature to say exactly what will happen.REP. HENDRICK asked if NAEG
is utilizing the Fort Peck Tribal College in its training. Mr.Lambert
said that NAEG is utilizing the Tribal College and that he is
developing a syllabus touse in the training. He gave an example of a
revolutionary pump being developed by NAEG,which will create about 200
jobs when it reaches the manufacturing stage. He said NEAGalready has
orders for 300 pumps. As far as oil and gas production is concerned,
Mr. Lambertsaid it is difficult to predict the number of workers that
will be needed until more is known aboutthe production opportunities on
the Reservation. He said NAEG is sensitive to hiring tribalmembers but
that the main criteria for hiring workers is that they are
qualified.REP. WINDY BOY referred to the report (EXHIBIT #10) and asked
for a more detailedexplanation of the $50,000 bond approved by the
Board of Oil and Gas Conservation. Mr.Lambert explained NAEG has a
nationwide bond that allows it to acquire an unlimited amount ofwells
on all 562 federally recognized reservations and a state bond called a
Montana Bond. This is the $50,000 bond referred to by REP. WINDY BOY
and allows NAEG to acquire anddevelop an unlimited amount of wells off
the reservation. REP. WINDY BOY asked if the bondcovers reclamation
costs. Mr. Lambert said that it does.
------------------------------------------------------------------------------- -
Page 12
-12-SEN. O'NEIL asked if geothermal energy, wind energy, and hydro
energy are alternative energysources used by NAEG. Mr. Lambert said all
of those and solar energy also. Mr. Nanvaanexplained geothermal
powerball technology and said a reservation would be a perfect place
tointroduce this new type of alternative energy to the nation. Mr.
D'Arrigo also discussed otheralternative energy forms. He said there
are many opportunities available and it is just a matterof tapping into
them.SEN. PEASE asked if NAEG has met with the Crow or Cheyenne Tribes.
Mr. Lambert said ithas not with those tribes yet. SEN. PEASE said he
represents both the Crow and Cheyennepeople. Mr. Lambert said he would
like to meet with both Tribes.REP. JAYNE said that her legislative
district covers the Flathead and Blackfeet tribes. Sheasked what the
Committee could do to assist NAEG in connecting with the different
tribes. Mr.Lambert said that extensive seismic exploration has been
done in that area and that there is alot of natural gas. He said NAEG
would gladly come and look. REP. JAYNE said she couldn'tspeak for the
different tribes but as a representative of the Committee, she said she
would liketo assist in getting NAEG connected with those Tribes. She
asked if NAEG has contactedGovernor Schweitzer. Mr. Nanvaan said that
NAEG will be meeting with the Governor's energystaff at 3:00 p.m.
today. REP. JAYNE said she would also connect NAEG with the
Salish-Kootenai Tribe as well. Mr. Nanvaan said on behalf of NAEG, he
would appreciate that.

Both wells were completed on time due to the precise scheduling of all components of their operations and are currently in minimal production. Stable flow rates in terms of BOPD and additional data on comparative results can be expected to be reported within 3 to 4 weeks. After the chemical treatment, the initial flow rates tend to fluctuate in a wide range for the first couple of weeks before settling down to a steady flow. At that time, the Company will issue another report to its shareholders informing them of its results.

this news was put out on Aug. 22

My rather flippant statement of $1 PPS in my previous post has me making the assumption that the float is something in the neighborhood of 100-150M. Somehow I think it might be much smaller than that though, judging from the ease at which it moved today.

Somebody please get the real TA on the horn!

Anyway, weeeeeeeeeeeeeeee.

I wake up and see this. This REALY couldn't be better. Not only this, but I feel that we are a MAJOR buyout target. If Shell is in, Exxon/Chevron to follow. The geologists are thinking there could be between 200 billion and 400 billion barrels of oil in the area.

Just a little word for the newbie’s. Market makers take stocks up in stages. They work with stocks with high volume. They will take a stock up to a level that they are comfortable with, sell there inventory, and then drop it. They hope that you think it will be falling so you will sell your shares cheaper. Then they go for another run to the next level. All the while missing the boat because you thought it was going down. Be ahead of the game. I would be cautious trying to flip this. SHELL OIL is involved. This is a big story, a lot of oil. I bought 300k at a D.C.A. .019, and wont sell this until dollars Ville. Just a little advice.

Not sure yet, but based on the volume from yesterday of 40m, and the PPS increase, it has to be lower than 100m. My supposition would be 60m. [Smile]

About **********

WWW.********** is a service designed to help bonafide shareholders of publicly traded US companies fight naked short selling. Naked short selling is the illegal act of short selling a stock when no affirmative determination has been made to locate shares of the stock to hypothecate in connection with the short sale. ********** has built a proprietary database that uses Threshold list feeds from NASDAQ, AMEX and NYSE to generate detailed and useful information to combat the naked short selling problem. For the first time, actual trade by trade data is available to the public that shows the attempted size, actual size, price and average value of short sales in stocks that have been shorted and naked shorted. This information is valuable in determining the precise point at which short sellers go out-of-the-money and start losing on their short and naked short trades.

********** has built a massive database that collects, analyzes and publishes a proprietary SqueezeTrigger for each stock that has been shorted, www.**********/squeezetrigger.pdf. The SqueezeTrigger database of nearly 1,000,000,000 short sale transactions goes back to January 1, 2005, and calculates the exact price at which the Total Short Interest is short in each stock. This data was never before available prior to January 1, 2005, because the Self Regulatory Organizations (primary exchanges) guarded it aggressively. After the SEC passed Regulation SHO, exchanges were forced to allow data processors like ********** to access the data.

The SqueezeTrigger database collects individual short trade data on over 7,000 NYSE, AMEX and NASDAQ stocks and general short trade data on nearly 8,000 OTCBB and PINKSHEET stocks. Each month the database grows by approximately 50,000,000 short sale transactions and provides investors with the knowledge necessary to time when to buy and sell stocks with outstanding short positions. By tracking the size and price of each month's short transactions, ********** provides institutions, traders, analysts, journalists and individual investors the exact price point where short sellers start losing money.

NAEG Acquires Bier Oil Lease; Clarifies Share Structure - UPDATE

By BusinessWire
Last Update: 10/4/2006 10:03:34 AM Data provided by

FOREST HILLS, N.Y., Oct 04, 2006 (BUSINESS WIRE) -- Native American Energy Group, Inc. (the "Company" or "NAEG") (OTC Pink Sheets: NVMG) is pleased to announce it has acquired the Bier Oil Lease that contains a well drilled by Exxon in 1984, consisting of 760 acres located on the Luster Field in N.E. Montana. The Bier Well, which was later plugged and abandoned (P&A), has been selected for its production potential and is to be among the first group in NAEG's Enhanced Oil Recovery & well development program.

The Bier was producing 60 barrels of oil per hour when it was capped due to excessive fluids (3,200 total fluids with a 50% oil cut) because the expense of removing the water at that time was simply too great. Today's proprietary extraction techniques, combined with lower transportation costs and high profit margins make this well economically feasible again for re-entry.

The Average amount of BOPD from most producing wells in the Luster Field was 500 to 1000. The Luster Field was discovered in 1953 by Exxon and has a total of 300 wells drilled to date. Other major oil companies that have been in this field include Mobil, Amerada Hess, and others. The formation(s) from which they have primarily produced are the Mission Canyon, and the Ratcliff section of the Charles formation in the Mississippian Period.

By design, and by invitation, Native American Energy Group continues to work synergistically with Montana's native tribal nations and landowners to position the Company in targeted leasing areas containing the most potential recoverable reserve capacity, bearing in mind that these projects are also vitally important in promoting economic development, employment opportunities and stability to the tribal community. Through its oil and gas property acquisitions since the Company's inception, and a very aggressive leasing program, NAEG has positioned itself as the largest leaseholder of potential Bakken production on the Fort Peck Reservation.

CEO Joseph D'Arrigo stated, "What many people do not realize is that some of these leases can require as many as 100 signatures when you are not dealing with an individual landowner, but a large number of allotees. Nevertheless, we have managed what the Board considers some very significant acquisitions among our portfolio of previously developed, historically producing wells."

"It was an early feasibility study," said D'Arrigo, "by our geological team, including a full analysis of the previous operator's results and all essential aspects of the historical drilling and exploration data that relate to several of our leases and their underlying oil deposits, that has validated the planning and initiation of a 12-month, 20-well development program. Estimates had been established and were reported to me during 2005 by our Senior Geologist & Petroleum Engineer, Tony Johnson, and our exploration team to indicate 2 (two) million barrels of recoverable reserves are accessible in just 5 of the Company's more significant acquisitions. We have two (2) rigs from one manufacturer being prepped for delivery, one later this year and the second in early 2007 to get the job done. In parallel with this goal, overall, once we have met certain production levels from the current re-work program, then exploratory and verification-drilling may begin on our Bakken leases, concurrently, in late 2007. That is a much more expensive proposition and represents a larger opportunity, however, to date, of the total wells drilled in the Bakken Play only 2% are dry holes. On average, the initial production rates after completion on the Bakken are between 200 - 600 barrels of oil per day, but can range as high as 2000-5000 bopd depending on the size of your pocket book, the location of the properties, and the right combination of drilling and completion technology's. As was previously announced on August 22, 2006, Native American Energy Group launched its initial oil production on the Fort Peck Indian Reservation in northeast Montana following the successful enhancement, reactivation, and completion of its first two wells. We shall continue to rely on our experienced and devoted personnel who have made great contributions towards helping us to achieve and increase our capacity, and we have every confidence that these important projects will be gradually realized."

The Company has identified an important issue that we understand shareholders may wish to have addressed. Due to the fact that the current share structure may not have been updated, as of yet, on the financial information websites, the correct and most current facts are listed below:

90m per pink sheet info

O/S is 1,224,542,418 then

pps = .144 per share

Take off soon...A company with this much potential...and their latest acquire...and previous statements as to AMEX listing and Audited financials...we have a monster at hand with such a less float

DOESN'T SEEM KIND OF WEIRD TO YOU ALL THAT THEY WOULD DO A 20:1 FS ON THEIR PREVIEWS SHARE STRUCTURE

WTF IS THAT ?

I am staying put with this company. They were honest with the O/S and the float. I still say we touch .10 in a few days once flippers are gone. IF the audited financials are good which should show the assets...this company is HUGE !!! IF Shell comes to them for the technology NVMG has, then I say it is BIG

enjoy the ride all
i must say... that 4.5 million block with the O/S as large as it is and only 100 mil float...
i'm guessing that was a major dilution play as no one single person in their right mind is going to buy $128,000 of a pink and let it sit over night and hope for the best...
jmho. good luck all.

THINK OF IT AS SAVING YOU.

NO ONE SAID THAT THIS WONT RUN. IT CAN.

GOOD:

THEY COULD DO A FOLLOW UP PR WITH NUMBERS ABOUT THE DEAL WITH SHELL OIL.

BAD:

IF THEY DILUTE 200 MILLION SHARES ALONE OUT OF THE 1.2 BILION FLOAT YOU COULD LOSE 50 % OR MORE OF YOUR INVESTMENT !

C'mon Jo! I'll have to add this to my lessons of wall street.

As a reminder to all! Repo's Lessons in Trading!

 -

1. Buy low, sell high (or for you unsavory characters, sell short high, buy low!)
2. Hogs get fat, pigs get slaughtered. (In other words, don't get greedy!)
3. Buy on the rumor, sell on the news (usually true for stocks the runup into news vs. stocks that run AFTER news).
4. It takes money to make money. (In other words, don't expect to turn $100 into $50K)
5. You win some, you lose some, but you keep on fighting! (In other words, never lose your capital or it's game over)
6. Never fall in love with a stock.
7. The only sure bets in this life are death and taxes.
8. If an analyst rates a stock a "buy", you can be sure he has already bought the stock and is looking to unload at a price just below his target stock. Vice versa on "sell" recommendations.
9. Like surfing, ride the MM's and follow them, and you will sail to victory. Attempt to go against them, and you will wipeout. Remember, MM's do NOT play by the same rules on investors and do NOT lose money ever on Market Making activity. Therefore, you cannot beat them.
10. You don't have to be in the game 100% of the time. The sidelines are nice for a break every once in a while. Remember, its better to NOT make money than to LOSE money.
11. There are no such things as PAID bashers. That dumb article floating around "Confessions of a basher" is BS. People bash because they are short, bored, a-holes, or looking for a better reentry price.
12. As a follow up on 12, even if there were paid bashers, 99% of the time, Bulletin Board postings do NOT influence price fluctutations. There are many more investors who invest without ever reading internet message boards.
13. Always keep dry powder on hand. Never know when an opportunity may arise.
14. Most mutual funds and institutions will not buy stocks unless they are NASDAQ or listed and over $5.. However, this does not apply to hedge funds.
15. Don't go "all-in". This is not the World Series of Poker. Don't invest all of your capital in one stock. If you have a favorite, put 1/3 in. Keep the other 2/3 just in case you need to average down.
16. There's no such thing as "fat finger" trades. When these trades do occur, they are not valid and are broken by the brokerage houses within 3 days. Nobody can filled outside of the inside market (best bid x ask)
17. If you want a sure way of exiting a stock without hitting the bid, split the inside market with decimals. This will prevent your order from being represented on Level II, and the MM's won't step in front of your order (which they do often to get you to keep lowering your sell price). For example, if the best bid x ask is .11 x .12, try putting in .111 or somthing like that.
18. If you plan to play with fire (ie., play the pinks), make sure you have access to your trading platform at all times! Do not buy a stock without having access to exit in short notice.

Posted by The Phat Man on :

this thread over the past few pages is f'n hilarious...

from "TO DA MOON... greatest find ever!... real value here! don't miss this boat! no shares left under .10 by friday!"

then to... "uh, oh yeah, anyone happen to know the O/S?" ... "uh, anyone happen to google Raj Nanvaan's name and see how many lawsuits have come up against him and his multiple aliases?"

(reality starting to sink in but not faster than the bid is moving down... uh, oh... here comes...)

"TO DA SH!T-HOUSE!!!" .... 'this sucks'... (said aloud with a thousand-mile-stare at the L2s on the computer screen)

oh yeah... we mustn't forget the blaming... cuz, of course, it's all shakerzz fault that the losers lost money. god forbid one has their own free will to rely on and doesn't sell when the stock hit a bid of .035, up nearly 35% from a 300%+ day yesterday and showed clear selling pressure from there on out.

and then, sadly, most end up losing out, a few make some modest gains, and some (ahem... invester?) are actually still in hoping for an averaging-down miracle or a double-neck sell. in which this POS will prolly deliver on in one form or another and everything i'm observing will begin and end again.

voila

I feel for you guys, but there was ample warning. Everyone just played it off. Or tried to say they called the company and the 1.2bil O/S was BS...

Who knows, maybe they will order a NOBO list, or buyback shares, or...

Kidding, but really, the company still has all of the good things going for it that were pointed out yesterday. Unfortunately, it's not gonna really move until they stop diluting.

Morning all - hoping for some good movement today

Bought 100k at .012. Even if they dilute all the way to 2billion shares, at .10 that’s 200m market cap. It all depends on how much oil they have. We will see.

If these guys own all the shares, I would think they would cancel them. This would in turn make this baby run. I think they will. The move to the AMEX won’t happen if they don’t. It makes sense.

Sub-penny now. I guess I can add this to my list of stocks that I've lost more than 65% in.

I'm still green in my portfolio though (barely), but this certainly didn't help.

Not even a dead cat bounce today. Hey, my son's pet rat died yesterday....maybe we'll get a dead rat bounce?

LOL, Doniboy! Horrifying, is a good word for it. It's still pretty horrifying. Fortunately, I'm in the green only through the saving grace of FRPT and a few other big board stocks. I am still working to eliminate some of my losers. Yesterday, I got rid of PRVH with a 38% loss and today I unloaded ACTC with a 69% loss.

Maybe if this one gets over a 50% loss I'll sell. This was one of the stupidest buys I made since my "turnaround". I could have made a good bit of change on it, but I took a sub job and I couldn't get the site on the school computers to sell when it was up at .03 etc!

Never gonna make that mistake again.

Jo

I bought an additional 50k this AM. I think this one needs to be looked at again. They want to move to the AMEX, they own all the shares, so I think they will cancel 1b or so leaving 200m out. This makes sense.

The lockup agreements prevent each officer and director from selling any amount of their shares of NAEG stock for a period of 18 months. Presently, these shareholders combined own an aggregate of 895,000,000 shares of Native American Energy Group stock, representing approximately 73.1% of the current issued and outstanding shares.

Chief Financial Officer Raj Nanvaan of NAEG, stated, "We are encouraged by our recent growth and acquisitions and we, as management, are proud to have the opportunity to demonstrate our commitment and confidence in the Company's continuing growth by entering into a voluntary share lockup agreement. It is our responsibility, as the Management Team, to promote pride in ownership and be accountable to the shareholders for the Company's success. Native American Energy is committed to its expansion plan and enhancing its acquisitions, and to the further development of our oil & gas and renewable energy projects."

The Company also announced today, NAEG's IR Department has contacted Pink Sheets in order to correct any deficiencies and remove any unrelated items from the Company Profile on their website. Pinks Sheets will have these updates implemented and effective on their website within two business days, and has sent these changes to each email contact Pink Sheets has listed in its database. In an effort to keep the public aware of the Company's financial activities, NAEG wishes to inform stockholders and the investing public that there are no dramatic changes planned that would affect the current outstanding share structure. The recent forward split of the company's common stock bringing the outstanding share count to 1,224,542,418 has served to increase liquidity, giving the public greater opportunity, as the Company continues to document its progress. Shareholders are reminded that ALL corporate updates will be made solely through official press releases as and when they become available.

I think that too many got scared the last couple days. They only burned themselves. This company so far has been honest and has tried to help the shareholders.

They want to get rich too. With that many shares they have locked up.

I posted it on HSM so I'll post it here as well..

I am suprized there aren't more people talking about this. They have a working well with oil that used to be drilled by Exxon. The only reason Exxon left the well is because there was too much water, and back in 1984 it was to expensive to seperate the two. Nowadays, it doesn't cost much. They were getting 60 barrels an hour! Once this thing starts producing we will be making good money. Now they come out and say that they are restricing 75% of the O/S! C'mon people this is a gold ... errr oil mine!

It all depends on the amount of oil. The contracts states "on going", its not a spot contract. They have basically stated no dilution. They have been forthcoming, and are locking up shares. This tells me they are paying attention. I have emailed the company with some thoughts, and questions. I will post when they respond.

NVMG Granted License to Build Affordable, Safe, Energy-Efficient Homes on All Federally Recognized U.S. Indian Reservations

Business Wire "US Press Releases "

FOREST HILLS, N.Y.--(BUSINESS WIRE)--

Native American Energy Group, Inc. (the "Company" or "NAEG") (OTC Pink Sheets: NVMG), a company that specializes in locating and revitalizing shut-in production and/or abandoned oil fields on and off tribal lands, is pleased to announce that on October 4, 2006, the Company signed a Joint Venture Profit Share Agreement with homebuilder, Eurowest Panel Homes Ltd., a corporation organized and existing under the laws of the Province of Alberta ("Eurowest"), in which Native American Energy Group (NAEG), as Master Licensee, was granted an exclusive, non-transferable right to use the Patents, Trade-marks and the Systems Knowledge in connection with the Licensee's manufacture, sale and distribution of CSPS, and related products, as well as the use of the Patents, Trade-marks and Systems Knowledge, within the Territory (the "License"). Said Territory includes all 562 Native American Indian Tribes and all Native American reservations in the Unites States recognized by the United States Department of Interior - Bureau of Indian Affairs, as well as and including, the non-tribal lands in the following states in the Northwest Region of the United States of America: Montana, Wyoming, North Dakota, South Dakota, Idaho, Oregon, Washington.

NAEG's CEO, Joseph D'Arrigo, stated, "We've been helping the native Montana community of Fort Peck, where our Company is established, to use their energy resources as the foundation for building a stable economy... since oil is NAEG's main business, however, our study of this area has lead our Board to conclude that a multi-faceted approach was really in order. This joint initiative with Eurowest, at once, provides access to the affordable housing market on the reservations, and throughout the northwestern U.S. to our Canadian Partner, while at the same time it allows NAEG the chance to help expand homeownership opportunities within Native American communities here and elsewhere by creating safe, efficient, affordable housing. Therefore, Eurowest Panel Homes Ltd. and Native American Energy Group, Inc. (NAEG), the Licensee, will operate on a (50% / 50%) fifty / fifty profit share basis regarding all net profits after expenses on this particular project. The protocol also calls for a jointly owned manufacturing plant to be established on the reservation, and a complete technology transfer." "Upon our receiving the approvals," D'Arrigo added, "upon introducing this technology to Indian Country, Eurowest will supply a 'model home' to be placed at an agreed location for marketing the Eurowest Panel Home Technology."

About the Eurowest Technology

Eurowest has developed a unique, cost-effective method of manufacturing a Cellular Cement Filled Steel Panel System for residential homes, commercial buildings, warehouses, farm buildings and other structures that has been perfected during the past several years, and a patented process which also includes a Polymer Stucco Coating on the exterior and interior of the steel panels referred to as the "Eurowest Panel System." The Joint Venture will also market the value added on products such as the solar panels, water and sewage treatments and garbage handling technologies.

The "Eurowest Panel System" offers significant advantages over the conventional wood-framed, log, stone, concrete and brick buildings:

-- Reduced overall cost

-- Reduced manufacturing and erection time

-- Easy to mass produce in any part of the Globe

-- Requires only minimal skills to erect

-- Easy to assemble or disassemble and move

-- Superior strength

-- Will not shrink, warp, split, swell, rot, or rust

-- Withstands winds in excess of 200 km/hr

-- Earthquake resistance to seismic zone 4

-- Fire-resistant

-- Burglar resistant

-- Termite and rodent proof

-- Lower Insurance Cost

-- Preservation of trees

-- Steel is 100% Recyclable

Eurowest has been operating its research and design, prototype plant at a facility in Northeast Calgary, just North of NAEG's oil & gas operations, which are just 60 miles from the Canadian border. Eurowest also has an office in the Philippines whereby factory plant equipment required is manufactured. During 1999, Eurowest established a connection with Mexico when it contracted to build 100 homes there, and the company began to receive some favorable press. A newspaper article entitled, "Calgary firm ships prefab homes to Mexico" can be seen at the following link that also includes a current photograph of a one of their finished houses:

Housing Shortage Problem Defined

The National American Indian Housing Council (NAIHC) provides us with the following Indian Housing FACT SHEET: http://www.naihc.net/news/index.asp?bid=6316

An "Immediate Need" of 200,000 housing units is estimated in Indian country, * and approximately 90,000 Native families are homeless or under-housed. * (U.S. Commission on Civil Rights, "A Quiet Crisis: Federal Funding and Unmet Needs in Indian Country," 2003) The average cost of a new home on a reservation is $125,000. (U.S. Department of Housing and Urban Development (HUD), 2003), however, the Native American homeownership rate is estimated to be as low as 33%, lowest among all ethnic groups and less than half the rate for the general U.S. population. Speaking before the Committee on House Financial Services Subcommittee on Housing and Community Opportunity on July 31, 2006, Pattye Green emphasized that, "Finding ways to create affordable housing opportunities for Native American families living on tribal lands is one of the toughest challenges we face. ...We all know too well the statistics regarding Native American housing. The homeownership rate on reservations is 41 percent, well below the national average of 68 percent. Native Americans have chronic housing problems -- overcrowding, substandard conditions, inadequate infrastructure and a lack of affordable financing. According to the National American Indian Housing Council, nearly 33 percent of homes on tribal lands-more than six times the national average-are overcrowded, less than half of the homes in Indian Country are connected to public sewer systems, and 16 percent of these homes lack complete indoor plumbing. Almost half of Indian households pay more than 30 percent of their income for housing expenses, compared to 23 percent of all households in the U.S." In addition, she stated however that, "Fannie Mae has worked closely with tribes and other housing partners to support both the construction of new units and rehabilitation of existing units through investments in low- income housing tax credit investments (LIHTC), collateralized revenue bonds, and HUD guaranteed Native American Housing Assistance and Self Determination Act (NAHASDA) Title VI loans. We have also begun to provide Tribal Housing Authorities with additional financing via our Community Lending business channel to help bridge funding gaps during the construction phase of their developments."

Conclusion

Back in May of this year, Joseph D'Arrigo, Chief Executive Officer, and Raj Nanvaan, Chief Financial Officer of Native American Energy Group attended the Council of Energy Resource Tribes conference (CERT) in Denver Colorado where they had the opportunity to meet with directors and administrators from various organizations such as the U.S. Department of Housing & Urban Development (HUD), U.S. Department of Energy (DOE), as well as, Joe Garcia, the President of the National Congress of American Indians (NCAI). These organizations work together in promoting self determination among Native American tribes in the United States by implementing programs and workshops to educate, guide and assist them in achieving their objectives, and to promote economic development in these various regions.

Since then, NAEG has been in contact with these organizations as well as housing authorities of many reservations in the country to implement a plan of action geared to assist Indian Country in meeting this demand of over 200,000 homes. This action would not only provide housing for those in need, but also stimulate the economies by providing employment opportunities, as well.

NAEG Acquires Mason Oil Lease in Former Exxon Field: Core Sample Reveals Bakken Section
Business Wire - October 12, 2006 09:53

FOREST HILLS, N.Y., Oct 12, 2006 (BUSINESS WIRE) -- Native American Energy Group, Inc. (the "Company" or "NAEG") (OTC Pink Sheets: NVMG), a publicly traded, independent energy company that, in Aug 2006, announced its initial oil and natural gas production on the Fort Peck Indian Reservation, is pleased to announce that it has acquired the Mason Oil Lease, located on the Poplar Field in northeast Montana. Although shut-in, the Mason is a well that lines up with the current Bakken trend within NAEG's targeted leasing area. Bearing in mind that modern, horizontal drilling techniques have made the Bakken zone a well-known producing formation, this acquisition becomes the latest in a series of acquisitions that have strengthened NAEG's presence in Montana, while increasing its proven & probable reserves and Bakken production potential.

Exxon hit the first discovery well in the Poplar Field in 1951. They operated their wells for a while and then other oil companies like Murphy Oil and Ballard came into the area. A total of 350 wells were drilled in the field and the average amount of production from most wells was 500 BOPD. The formation from which they have primarily produced was the Mission Canyon section of the Charles formation in the Mississippian Period. Research indicates that originally they shot the wrong zone and didn't see commercial amounts from the Mason, and shut the well in. Century Oil went back in and shot another section and operated the well for a while. The last production on the Mason was around 50 BOPD. It had good shows in the Mission Canyon and Charles C section, also good shows in a 20-foot section called the Nisku. Significant to NAEG is that the Mason Well was cored... and the records and an examination by NAEG's Geological team of the core sample have revealed a "Bakken" section at 7250 feet. It is to NAEG's advantage that modern horizontal drilling techniques of recent years now enable operators to economically tap into the real potential of the Bakken formation; whereas, back in the 1950's & 60's oil companies simply gathered the oil that was being plentifully released from the zones in the better known producing formations of their time from the conventionally drilled, vertical wells that they owned, and then they basically moved on, leaving much in untapped reserves behind.

Multi-Year Play

Joseph D'Arrigo, President and Chief Executive Officer of Native American Energy Group commented, "NAEG's expansion is being led to the horizontal middle Bakken play, so I want to take a moment with our shareholders to explain how value is being added. In addition to the wells we have re-worked and completed, we have also had our field operators continuously evaluating the drilling results of other operators in the Williston Basin area. The region was plenty active with drilling programs this year. Since 2001, over 250 new wells have been drilled and completed. Conventional wells in the Bakken Play showed about a 95% success rate and, importantly, there was only a tiny percentage of dry holes. The investor sees little risk and very big rewards in such a scenario. In Richland County, for instance, wells typically produce at initial rates of 200 to 600 barrels of oil per day, after completion, and gas volumes range from 50-300,000 CFGPD. Reserves per well are estimated from 350,000 to 500,000 barrels of oil. There are exceptions to this average which is directly related to the size of your pocket book, the location of the properties, and the right combination of drilling and completion technologies. EOG Resources, Inc. (owned by Continental Resources) stands alone as the leader, with 2000-5000 BOPD being common to this group, along with twice the norm in gas production."

Mr. D'Arrigo continued, "Bottom line is, the NAEG team has therefore outlined as many as 10 exploratory wells within or adjacent to the Middle Bakken fairway that can be scheduled to begin in 2007. These are to be drilled throughout the 25,000-acre leasehold to determine the Bakken production potential for NAEG. The spacing could be an issue, I am told, but we feel that 640-acre unit spacing will be the norm. I am pleased to say that the budget for the drilling program will be 50% less than current cost due to the utilization of existing wells on the acreage initially. The elimination of the drilling costs associated with the existing 6500' wells, the Company's own logging and completion services, and our extensive geological research of the area will help position us for a successful future. There should also be additional locations remaining to be drilled well beyond 2007. Some will be grassroots. In that regard, I would anticipate that some wells are likely to be joint-ventured, since we are open to this avenue, while others will be re-entry wells. We intend to bring our production rates gradually up to speed, however, we are also aware that we must have plenty of leased acres for drilling in order to continue the pace. Therefore, we are concentrating a great deal on NAEG's oil and gas property acquisition program. As we endeavor to enhance our results and improve our position, a significant increase over our 2006 activity can be expected. 3-D seismic surveys, a horizontal Bakken formation program employing NAEG's cutting edge oil & gas perforation and proprietary, down-hole oil & gas stimulation technology all are planned for 2007 on NAEG's Bakken wells in the Williston Basin."

An average of 500 Barrels per day a piece out of 350 wells.

175,000 per day
5,250,000 per month
$315,000,000 per month? Holy sh!t!!!!

That's $3,780,000,000 a year!!!!!!!

Native American Energy Group (NAEG) is a publicly traded, independent, energy company that has established its infrastructure and operations on the Fort Peck Indian Reservation in N.E. Montana. The company specializes in acquiring and revitalizing abandoned oil fields with substantial known reserves in place, as well as, introducing energy alternatives such as wind & geothermal energy solutions. We spotlight oil fields which were previously developed and capped due to depressurization, production falling below commercial levels at that time, or in situations in which oil & gas leases were terminated by the tribal governments due to improper development and/or refusal to simply employ Native Americans.

NOBO LIST COMING!!!

Native American Energy Group Orders NOBO List to Clarify Ownership and Address Potential Short Positions
Tuesday October 17, 11:02 am ET

FOREST HILLS, N.Y.--(BUSINESS WIRE)--Native American Energy Group, Inc. (the "Company" or "NAEG") (OTC Pink Sheets: NVMG - News) announced that it has ordered the latest NOBO information for analysis and comparison in order to clarify all owners of its issued and outstanding shares and address potential short positions in NAEG's stock that management believes needs to be researched and examined to ensure integrity in the marketplace for its shares.

The NOBO list is a non-objecting beneficial owners list that offers the names and share positions of the clients of banks and brokers who hold their positions in street name. Company management elaborated that it will analyze current NOBO information to monitor shifts in shareholder positions, verify (non-objecting) beneficial owner and institutional positions, and collate NOBO provided data with that of other Company sources including the Company's transfer agent list.

After comparing the NOBO list to the current transfer agent list, the company will be able to determine if there is a share imbalance or a significant failure to deliver position in their stock. If the Company's research and examination does find an imbalance in regards to the reported short positions, the company will act to correct the problem.

"We will diligently review, examine and, in effect, audit our share numbers to give the Company a concise look at the specific ownership positions of NAEG's shares. The use of this information will increase the Company's visibility and emphasize our resolve to increase shareholder value through the fair and proper market valuation of our stock," commented, Director Richard Ross.
