I really like this.

Looking back at early February, when it hit .0038, it bounced up 1000% to .038 within a week, and then bounced up and down to get to .075..

Will be looking for a good entry for this one on Tuesday.

Systems Evolution Announces Key Promotions
Systems Evolution, Inc. (OTCBB:SEVI), a Microsoft systems integrator and provider of business consulting services, announced several promotions in its Consulting Division preparing for projected growth and better financial results. Randy Steinle and Frank Prevatt have been elevated to General Managers of the Central Texas and Gulf Coast practices, respectively. Mr. Steinle earned the position by leading efforts to re-energize SEVI's San Antonio operations. Mr. Prevatt, the company's primary Microsoft architect, is transitioning into a role to grow Houston's consulting revenues.

Separately, Mike Amerson is developing and operating the division's new Project Management Office (PMO), strengthening SEVI's project management and service delivery processes. All three men report to Brad Wealand, Vice President of Consulting, as members of the division's Operations Review Committee.

"Stemming from several consultations with CMP Media's Institute for Partner Education and Development (http://www.iped.com), we embarked on re-energizing our organization as a practice-led solution provider, where authority for P&L and delivery decisions are pushed down to staff closer to end customers. I applaud Randy, Frank, and Mike for taking on these new roles and making a strong commitment to our company's future," said Wealand.

You know edge, I was having a discussion with someone regarding technicals vs. filings, and what sparks a run on a different thread last night, At least that was part of the conversation. I freely admit filings usually do not spark a run, but they do support it. I would like to do an excercise, that being, to reconstruct as much of the DD I showed above, prior to that Feb .0038, and subsequent run shortly afterwards. We know the result, 10 times from .0038 to .038, and just shy of 20 times to .075. Let's see what is different now, and try to assign a result to this time frame.

Let's begin with the O/S on Feb, 7, '06.

Our first Form 10 that we can use for O/S was filed on Jan. 17 '06 : The number of shares of issuer's Common Stock outstanding as of January 17, 2006: 106,258,626 shares.

Form 10 : http://www.pinksheets.com/quote/print_filings.jsp?url=%2Fredirect.asp%3Ffilename %3D0000104375%252D06%252D000002%252Etxt%26filepath%3D%255C2006%255C01%255C17%255 C&symbol=SEVI

There was an SB2 for 109M shares open from 6/17/05, but on 2/6/06 it was Withdrawn.
That certainly had a profound affect on what occure beifly after, (example of of a filing actually sparking a run, imo).

So we had an O/S of 106M with no open dilutive filings. Today's condition is about 3 times as much, so 1/3 or a dilution factor of 3 times.

Chart : http://www.pinksheets.com/quote/print_filings.jsp?url=%2Fredirect.asp%3Ffilename %3D0000104375%252D06%252D000002%252Etxt%26filepath%3D%255C2006%255C01%255C17%255 C&symbol=SEVI
I believe that RSI on 2/6/06, is at or almost at the 20 line. Relatively close to todays conditions.

Recent news: You can use the same headlines link it goes back to Oct '05.
http://finance.yahoo.com/q/h?s=SEVI.OB&t=2005-10-27T15:34:10-04:00
I didn't read them, by this you might be getting bored also, and not want to, but i might later.

There is one other thing I see that I have trained myself t look for, and that is price and volume variances. If you notice on Feb 6, '06 they took the price down, (or had been for awhile), on unusually high volume of, 1.213M, and previous to that, they took it down from .015 to .009 on Jan 24, 06, on again unusually high volume of 1.664M, (those are signals to me). Those volumes were very high in comparison to averages at that time, and the take down in price was pretty dramatic from previous prices of over .02.

The O/S is 3 times as great now, our shares are diluted by a factor of 3. or 1/3 as valuable. Oversold condition close. Volumes & Price Varaiances, (understanding a good portion of that 20M today is dilution, and not knowing for sure what has churned into the market of the 150M dilution), but when it is churned in I think a double is very real, a triple from .0035, possible, and later we might see 4 to 6 times PPS appreciation. I will be well sastisfied with a double, I would call that a success.

Now, that is not to say if dilution continues, AT THIS RATE, it might not go a bit lower, (.003), but if it is churned in, I think we saw bottom and can expect some gains with this one.

Posted by dacollecter on :

It is tempting to buy after todays' drop. Its hard to tell where the bottom on this. Their is no support, so i'll just be watching the volume on this for the next couple of days.

Posted by Grail7 on :

Bought some at .0038. Was too tempting. I usually wait for it to create a new bottom. Seemed that the .006 was a too good to be true resistence level. So waited around. I think the resistence level is around .0035, but I'll give it a nice range from .003 to .004. I jumped, its too tempting. I'll take a 30-50% gain any day.

What you're seeing won't last long. Everytime they bounce it they'll increase suplly. This won't really take off until that S8 is churned into the market.

yep, looks like you're right...
what do you expect next?

I suspect it will continue to trade in this pattern, until the dilution is over. They might even get real aggressive and take it down below .0033, (what I show as bottom now).

I posted this on the MGEN thread just yesterday. SEVI's news isn't exactly breath-taking.

"You will see a lot speculative PR's when dilution is taking place. It is pretty much SOP. These penny companies and their CEO's know how the game is played."

I agree with will, until the dilution is over, this will likely trade slightly down and sort-of sideways (kind of like this comment [Smile] )

But, after they are done diluting, this should have a nice pop...

any idea when they will be done dumping?

Posted by juice on :

yeah skip me too, definetly won't move with dillution. judging by the chart, speculation is all i got, just looking for a bounce when they decide to stop; when will they be done is the question:)

Posted by will on :

I doubled my position today.

I calculate that in the last four trading session 107M shares have been traded. Dilution commneced on 9/1, at .0048. Not sure when it will stop, maybe a couple more 30M+ days might do it ???

If they drop it below .0025, I will purchase more.

********** has built a massive database that collects, analyzes and publishes a proprietary SqueezeTrigger for each stock that has been shorted, www.**********/squeezetrigger.pdf. The SqueezeTrigger database of nearly 950,000,000 short sale transactions goes back to January 1, 2005, and calculates the exact price at which the Total Short Interest is short in each stock. This data was never before available prior to January 1, 2005, because the Self Regulatory Organizations (primary exchanges) guarded it aggressively. After the SEC passed Regulation SHO, exchanges were forced to allow data processors like ********** to access the data.

The SqueezeTrigger database collects individual short trade data on over 7,000 NYSE, AMEX and NASDAQ stocks and general short trade data on nearly 8,000 OTCBB and PINKSHEET stocks. Each month the database grows by approximately 50,000,000 short sale transactions and provides investors with the knowledge necessary to time when to buy and sell stocks with outstanding short positions. By tracking the size and price of each month's short transactions, ********** provides institutions, traders, analysts, journalists and individual investors the exact price point where short sellers start losing money.

Big ARCA bidder now...lets see what happens here

Posted by superman7 on :

my orders are taking atleast 5 min to fill and thats above the ask..thats a good sign..i think we will see a big jump in the stock today

Posted by skip on :

Someone just used ARCA to buy a bunch on the bid, now it's moved down to .026 on the ask...nice...

My thoughts are that this will REALLY pop when the dilution is over, and it might be done soon, or already, hard to tell...

Posted by 10of13 on :

Seems the dilution may not be over...

Posted by superman7 on :

is this dilution or just people whacking taking any gains they can get, cause the market is horrible right now and there is alot of whacking going on so it may just be that.....cause it doesnt take many buys at all to u/t it, which makes me think dilution may be over or really close to done

Posted by bksundar on :

Yep sure seems so, especially with the news that SEVI has been added to the Naked shorts list in my Ameritrade account. I suspected that the blip was just a temp one...

Posted by bksundar on :

I have bought at 0.0033. I want 0.004 at least, but the rally seems to fizzle out...

Posted by juice on :

i agree super, watched people buying at the bid like crazy just to downtick it every time in the past few weeks. thinking we're about done here and ready, made a nice little pop there, pretty quick...

Posted by skip on :

once the dilution is done, it should move way past .004 IMO...

the S-8 was for 150mil, and as will pointed out, there was about 124 mil traded last week...we are almost at 11mil today...if we assume 75% of that trading is dilution, then we are more than 2/3's of the way there...

Posted by craigl33 on :

do something......

Posted by superman7 on :

SEVI...getting the MOJO back here...skip i agree way passed .004 i have no intentions of selling that low i am looking more for about .009-.012 for my sells

Posted by djg7 on :

I'll try to get filled at .0035 200K shares. Only got 1K so far.

i think we should be seeing .004's coming up hear real soon

something is telling me today will be a big day i would love to see .006 today, and honestly if dilution is done we can get there today

Posted by pennys on :

yeah today is a big day. Dilution is done. Up we go from today. seeing 1c soon

Posted by djg7 on :

I can't get any shares at bid.

limit at 0.004 then?

.004 is coming

and DJG7 even above te ask it took me 5+min each time to fill so yeah this why i think we are going up big here real soon

already as much volume as Friday!

Posted by djg7 on :

Super, they were stingy giving up shares. Looks like a possible run coming.

Posted by 10of13 on :

I did a "flip" and it took several patial fills to get filled...about 10 minutes...

Posted by skip on :

ARCA still huge on the bid...lots of buys today...dilution has to be close to over...should close near hod, which will make the chart even nicer...reversal coming...

they are a Microsoft Gold Certified partner, that is pretty big...(I contract there, so I know that is a big deal)

Posted by pennys on :

sure they are!!!!! Come .004

Posted by craigl33 on :

what's the real aim here? 0.004 or 0.01?

Posted by skip on :

I am looking for .005+...

I think folks are focused on .004 because it seems to represent a wall that needs to be broken down before a major run...

Posted by Zack Donino on :

Just put an order in hopefully it will fill in the morning...

Posted by BooDog on :

I see a down tick, not a big one but enough to get in cheaper (.0032) unless it gaps like crazy...then may have to wait for the pull back.

Posted by skip on :

May have to grab more if it goes that low. It very well could, but this has to go sometime...

Posted by macdrsirules on :

I got in today for 2 reasons. First is I watch Will's posts and the man knows what he is doing.

Second, volume has increased significantly the last few days. It does indeed appear that the dilution is over IMO. The chart is coming out of oversold status which is huge. Nice DOJI on Friday along with a nice day today. Looking for a 3 day run at this point.

lol ... now that's funny

it did gap a bit on the open, what I meant was if there was a major gap then my .0032 would have been left in the dust, the pull back wouldn't even get close to .0032.
How bout a target of .023 in 4 weeks or less?

If you are referring to dilution, there is a S-8 for 150 mil, that appears to be about finished...we are all aware, and I am in it for the bounce after...

and Boodog, I am looking for .026, I want to help ARCA fill it's 42000 order [Smile]

Posted by will on :

Skip, I hope everyone is aware of the shortcomings of this issue. I made it very clear in my first post that there was dilution ocurring. This wasn't your routine pump and dump that you see so often on message boards. Pros / cons were freely admitted from the first post on.

I hear ya will. Your posts/picks always include both positive and negative, that's why a lot of folks follow them, including myself.

300k for me today. They broke it up in 100k blocks X 3.

Heres the chart: Looks like accumulation about as low as it'll go, Aroon leveled out and waiting on the uptrend.

possible...I like where NITE is sitting (.004)
In my limited (1 year) of watching L2's, if NITE is sitting up on the ask and not actively trading, then the price tends to hit that level in the short term...just an observation

BTW, NITE is also doing this with CBAY, which is another great bottom play... pps is current .202 with NITE sitting at .26...

Posted by will on :

This will run beofre they seriously consider a R/S. No, I did not read the transcript of the conference call, probably won't.

Posted by will on :

simpleman, they all are pieces of crap. 90% of them will R/S sooner or later. This for me, was a timed play. I saw the dilutive filing, and the severe price drop, and jumped in. It is only my dumb ass opinion that when the dilution is finished, and the MM's want to unoad all the shares they accuumulated at a profit, they will step up and run this. I have been screwed everyway known to man and pervert from these penny stocks. If this goes BK, gets a Q, blows up, becomes worthless, it will just be one more way I got screwed. That being said, I ain't gonna get screwed. I will at least double on this pos.

I have no idea what any of these chart smart candlesticks means. I do look at American Bullsh1t every so often, and saw this. Doesn't mean crap to me, but all the pumpsters use it, why not for SEVI ?

"The last two candlesticks formed a Bullish Piercing Line Pattern . This is a bullish reversal pattern that marks a potential change in trend. Though it is highly reliable confirmation is still recommended."

Anyone care to explain what a "Buulish Piercing Line Pattern" is ?

Posted by will on :

Definition:

Bullish Piercing Line Pattern is a bottom reversal pattern. A long black candlestick is followed by a gap lower during the next day while the market is in downtrend. The day ends up as a strong white candlestick, which closes more than halfway into the prior black candlestick’s real body.

Recognition Criteria:

1. Market is characterized by downtrend.
2. We see a long black candlestick.
3. Then we see a long white candlestick whose opening price is below previous day’s low on the second day.
4. The second day’s close is contained within the first day body and it is also above the midpoint of the first day’s body.
5. The second day however fails to close above the body of the first day.

Explanation:

The market moves down in a downtrend. The first black real body reinforces this view. The next day the market opens lower via a gap. Everything now goes, as bears want it. However suddenly the market surges toward the close, leading the prices to close sharply above the previous day close. Now the bears are losing their confidence and reevaluating their short positions. The potential buyers start thinking that new lows may not hold and perhaps it is time to take long positions.

Important Factors:

In the Bullish Piercing Pattern, the greater the degree of penetration into the black real body, the more likely it will be a bottom reversal. An ideal piercing pattern will have a real white body that pushes more than half way into the prior session’s black real body.

A confirmation of the trend reversal by a white candlestick, a large gap up or by a higher close on the next trading day is suggested.

Yea right, Who's on First ?

Man this stock has everything.

Potential to make money and sexual inuendo, a double entendre.

Sorry for your trouble, gfinney. If you're in at .15 this will require MEGA-NEWS for you to recover. Something like SEVI's sales just overtook Walmart's. Averaging down might be a stradegy one might consider here.

yeah gfinney buy a crap load down here at .003-32, if it falls to 2's go for it again. I was lucky to get a nice buy at .0027 the other day and i didnt flip it yet. id say from 3's i at least see this hitting 5's, thats a good lil profit my friend. i mean you bought at .15 thats crazy high. .003 is crazy low...think about that.

but as usual, disclaimer: don't listen to me or anyone its completely up to you. of course theres always risk involved and this could tank and r/s, who knows... but it would be way more fun for all of us if this goes up, which looks like a more likely scenario right now [Razz] GL

Hey Will how much more days till the market has absorbed the dilution? In it, and liking the gap, hope we go up here this friday afternoon, but more importantly get out of this level next week...

Posted by will on :

I have no idea. There isn't anyway to calculate how many of the 150M shares have really churned into the market.

I believe the dilution began 9/1/06. Add up the volume since then 178.6M have traded. Volume has slowed lately, could be coming to an end, not sure, only hope and speculation.

great close today!

Posted by will on :

Wonder what that means in conjunction with yesterday's Piercing Line Pattern. Confirmation?

Posted by skip on :

Per the ambulls definition, I think so!

I definitely see some penetration...

Posted by will on :

If the market opens at a level, equal to or below the previous day’s close. The benchmark is that closing price. If prices during the session stay over the benchmark, go long. Any white candlestick closing above the previous day’s close is confirmation criterion.

So, according to that, we have confirmation. We'll see when AB updates later today. I don't have much faith in AB, but isn't a whole bunch of other things to yack about regarding SEVI.

They posted a BUY CONFIRM :

SYSTEMS EVOLUTION INC
Daily Commentary

Our system posted a BUY CONFIRMED today. The previous SELL recommendation was issued on 09.13.2006 (2) days ago, when the stock price was 0.0033. Since then SEVI has gained 6.06% .

BUY-IF is confirmed by a white candlestick which has an open equal to the previous close but closing higher. The buying price is the previous close ( 0.0033 ) according to the Rules of Confirmation.

The recent bullish formation leading to the BUY-IF signal is confirmed today. The market seems ready for a new bullish move. Though the market opened lower today, the day’s activity created a white candlestick that closed above the previous close. This is a valid confirmation criterion.

The significant failure of the previous SELL signal is unfortunately confirmed too. Our shot went away this time. It is a fact that such signal failures are more unlikely for higher rated stocks, but it is not possible to deal with all the vagaries of the stock market. The signal system, however, continues to do an excellent job in the overall, despite such failures. This can be seen easily with a quick glance to the signal history table.

We hope that you bought this stock and still have the chance to profit from the later phase of the bullish attack. Today your important benchmark was the previous close. You were supposed to watch the session carefully, feel its bullish tendency despite the lower opening, and go long after making sure that the prices stay over the previous close.

If you bought, continue to hold this stock until the confirmation of the next SELL-IF signal. You are on relatively safe grounds as long as the future prices continue to trade above the benchmark price and if an emergency warning is not issued. What to do if you did not buy? Maybe, you did not have time to follow the session or you simply delegated the delicate job of confirmation to us. Well, it is a bit late, but not too late. You may still find suitable prices for buying in the following sessions and still profit in case of a sustained bullish move.

The market is currently cold for short-sellers. Avoid any short sales and cover the short positions immediately if there are any. We erred significantly on the short side last time, but we are sure that you may easily cover your losses (if any) by basing your future trades on our signal system.

There will be a delay in filing the Company’s Annual Report on Form 10-KSB for the year ended May 31, 2006 because the Company needs additional time to complete the report and its auditors need additional time to review the Company’s financial statements for the year ended May 31, 2006.

Sevi was removed from my Etrade account. Is this the reason?

Posted by 10of13 on :

Should now read as SEVIE
They add the "E" when there is a late filing...it will come off as soon as they file...
You should be able to sell..but if they won't let you on line..then give them a call and they will assist you with no extra charge...at least they have done it that way in the past for me...

Anything over a buck would be cool, thanks. I though abought putting a buy order in for 1 share at the ask just to see the volume at 1, but I'd have to pay the damn commision to so that would end up being a costly share.

What in the hell is going on here. Did they dillute so much that it hasn't found it's bottom yet or is this just mm games trying to get more as cheap as they can? And when is the E coming off, maybe the financial statement wasn't all they needed to file. If it drops much more I will have lost half my investment. Irritating to say the least.

I hear ya jim. I am averaged at .0029, I will buy more tomorrow if it stays in the .001's...not sure what else they have to do to get the -E off, but it is not on the daily list again, and they did file, so I am not sure...it will bounce back at some point, they all do...question is, when?

I got it from here, this appears to be the 10Q from last quarter, and not the 10-K we are looking for...read it too fast...

i know. it's just a matter of time, and of knowing where the bottom is.

that's why today's a roll of the dice.. no big reason for it to come back up yet, but ya never know, they could file at any minute and send us right back up again..

it's the calm before the storm, i suppose..
once this thing gets moving, it'll be crazy in here.

me too cotton, just emailed them, this is sorta ugly right now. i filled at 17 for a lil' more today to avg down, but im skeptical to throw a lot more at her. im also watchin cbay so i don't know which one to throw in on big time. one of them has to bounce... grrr

Jim,

Thank you for your questions.

To your question concerning our filing status, we continue to work diligently on filing the 10ksb, and there is no reason to believe that we will be delisted.

On the share price, I more than any other investor feels the sting of share price fall as I am the largest investor and have never personally sold a share in SEVI since its going public. Our share price does not currently match our prospects and we look to informt he buying public as to our prospects in the future.

bottom??

Posted by pennys on :

the bottom is .0015

Posted by welk on :

It's on the lower bollie at 0016. This should be the bottom.

Posted by edgewise on :

the RSI's 22.9, good.

as far as the bollie's concerned, past few weeks show that it isn't until the price punctures the band that it stops falling, and it hasn't quite done that yet, i'm afraid to say.

i got in at .0024, .0022, .0019, and now .0016.. probably not the best way to play it, all this avg'ing down, but i think it can shoot off at anytime, and i wanna be around for it.

so yea, i'm not really sure if this is bottom, but i'm hoping that it might be.

WRONG!
YOU'VE BEEN HAD!
Those nasty MM's are everywhere these days.
Especially near October.
Always bet a few points lower than their
"bottom pick" and you'll usually come out
smelling like a rose.
They can short pennies -- you can't.

Posted by welk on :

0013 x 0015. Incredible. Need to reverse soon. This is nuts. Anyone talk with the co? Hope they get that damn E off.

Posted by edgewise on :

some things i like/don't like..

the fact that so many of the MMs have really dropped their bid down..
they haven't really done that before now too much.. usually, they step it down one at a time..

now, this could be bad, in that that's where they want the price to drop to..

or, it could be good.. it could be the last scare tactic that they're using to get the last of the sellers out at these low levels, because those that sell would think that that it's gonna keep falling even faster now..

it's tough to say, but honestly, there isn't that much further down it could go.. only .0015, really, so maybe it's about that time..

i've sold at a loss before on this one, just to watch it regain positive momentum a few days later and make a lot of people happy while i would be sad on the sidelines.. that's not gonna happen this time..

bigger POS's run, so i'm willing to bet (and am betting, really) that this will see bright sunshiney days soon.

just a matter of time, patience, and entry point.

btw, anyone have any idea on what the ratio of bying to selling is on this? to me, it looks like it's been crazy on the buying side, and not very much selling.. just enough to drop the price down tick by tick..

Posted by juice on :

ok i got more at 15...

good call, whoever said .0015 bottom..
eventually, we knew one of us would be right..

.0017x.0020

Posted by welk on :

If it can close green today and get that damn E off we could get a multiple day runner here.

Posted by skip on :

I believe that would be pennys and myself that called .0015, however, my prediction was more a prayer [Smile] , and I am not getting too excited yet, although it is looking much better...actual buys!

Posted by welk on :

Lots of trades at the ask the last few days. The MMs took advanatge of the E to get it down as far as they can. Now it's time to run it in the other direction.

Posted by edgewise on :

yea.. we need a little more buying pressure to come our way before we can jump for joy..

but still.. it's a start. it shows that the MMs are willing to let it go..

at least this gives me time to take a breath from the drowning of the past few days.

besides, we've been having lots of buys for awhile now, but we keep buying on the way down and not on the way up.. a new crowd needs to get a hold of this to see the deal and buy it up.

we shall see..

Posted by skip on :

ok, here we go, bid has filled up, ask is getting hit at .002, perhaps they filed and the MM's and insiders are in the know?

don't people know that it doesn't work that way when trying to buy into a run?

Systems Evolution is a solid company

Dear All:

Remember, Systems Evolution is the fastest growing company in Houston, TX, and Houston is the 4th largest city in the U.S. with 23 Fortune-500 companies (second only to NY for largest number of Fortune-500 companies). SEVI is well-placed to provide significant consulting and employee placement services to these companies. We’re talking about ConocoPhillips, Marathon Oil, Sysco, Halliburton, Continental Airlines, Reliant Energy, CenterPoint Energy, Burlington, Dynegy, Anadarko Petroleum, etc. Three new ones have moved to Houston in the past year alone, including CITGO. Other companies like ExxonMobil (#1 on the Fortune 500 list), ChevronTexaco, and Valero Energy have the majority of their operations and almost all their employees in Houston. The city is rapidly becoming the undisputed energy capital of the world.

In addition, Houston is home to the largest medical center in the world (The Texas Medical Center http://www.tmc.edu). It also has the largest international shipping port in the country and the second largest port overall (second only to NY). It is home to renowned research institutions like NASA’s Johnson Space Center, Baylor College of Medicine, and Rice University.

Why am I mentioning these details? Because of the 100,000 people working in the medical center every day, and the 300,000 people working downtown, and all the rapidly expanding computing infrastructure in the Houston area. All these billions of dollars of revenue coming in and all these companies and institutions eed one thing in common—technical computing support, in the form of personnel and consulting. Systems Evolution offers both of these. More importantly, they have a quality track record with the State of Texas spanning more than 20 agencies, hold a Master Services Agreement with Microsoft (i.e. Microsoft invests in their organization and training) and recently achieved Microsoft Gold Partner Status making them one of only 200 companies nationwide to achieve that top level of quality and one of only six in Texas. They have not lost a bid in the past three years and recently announced a new contract with a multi-million-dollar company that covers 10 locations. Furthermore, their Next-Hire division is the Houston leader for placing professionals in the oil and gas industries, and more than a couple of the Fortune-500 companies listed above use SEVI as their pipeline of qualified candidates.

In addition, SEVI has large operations in Austin, TX, which is the home of Dell Computers, and in San Antonio—home to AT&T, etc.

Systems Evolution is a substantial company with a good revenue stream and quality management. Over the past two years they have acquired and integrated multiple companies into the current business practice, including AXP Technologies, eLead Solutions, CMS Technology Services, NextHire Consultants, and Duration Software. I stress this fact. Systems Evolution has rapidly picked up pace, experiencing a 472 percent growth from ’03 to ‘05. What we have here is a merger of multiple-decade-old established private businesses that have been brought together to create something much larger than the individual pieces. They finished that acquisition/integration process last year and are already reporting profits from the new organization!! Furthermore, as SEVI’s CEO, Richard Rhodes, mentioned in his recent webcast, the company’s methods, technology, and infrastructure are modular and scalable for further expansion.

For more details, see: http://www.equitiesmagazine.com/pdfs/corporate_profiles/systems_evolution.pdf

If you base its share value only on gross profit from the past year and don’t consider the possibility of considerable future increases, then the share value is 0.008. That includes the recent dilution of 150,000,000 shares for a total of about 300,000,000. The shares of companies with comparably strong platforms and potential for growth usually trade at 3-5 times their share value. Thus, a reasonable share price at this time would be roughly 0.030. Due to naked shorting and panic about the share dilution, the price is now at a 95% discount. The company is doing well. Simply look at Reuters financial evaluation. Thus, it is highly likely the share price will rebound with future financial updates.

Here is a short essay from The Motley Fool describing their approach to such buying opportunities:

personally, i wouldn't mind it closing the day out at .0018..

cuz then that would form a nice little doji on decent volume, and could trigger people as more of a reversal candidate than even a green day might..

either it can do that, or just shoot up to .0035 or above just before close and give us a real nice gap up in the AM tomorrow.

volume is down, well it seems down market-wide actually. which, IMO, is good for this stock. means less dilution and a return to 'normal' trading...now let's get that damn -E off... [Smile]

yes that will be soon. then this one will be well off , say greater than .005 again . News will spark this one higher than 1 penny again

Rev's up, but so were losses...news forthcoming I imagine...

Posted by atleast on :

O/S is much lower that expected - looks like short squeeze for an about 80 M

Posted by edgewise on :

i've seen a lot of 10-KSB's come out, and they're usually very ugly looking, appearance-wise..

this is by far one of the prettiest, most nicely formatted and informative 10Ks that I've seen in awhile..

now if only that meant something...

at any rate, NOW the E should come off, cuz i think this is what the SEC was waiting for.

and this, plus some convuluted news about how much their revenues are up, or their losses are less, or some sort of twist to make this sound good, and we'll be sky high in no time.

..in my opinion..

Posted by welk on :

YEAH! Glad I added. Great to see the 10K! back to pennyland please!

finally we are all ottimistic now. Go SEVI

filled more at 19. had an order for 25 minutes at the ask, just filled.

Posted by edgewise on :

so, assuming this bounces any day now, any guesses on a good target?

my call is .0029 before retracing some, and then maybe have a nice day go to .0038 or so before retracing then channelling again.

by the by, there's a ton of bad things to read about as far as the stock goes if you just read through the risks they're facing in section 1A.. but if you can stomach all of that, then you're meant to be in the penny market, cuz that's basically the risks of all of these companies.

i think that, as long as their revenues went up, which they did, then that is what the headline will read when they put out a PR regarding this, and people will hop on board with the combination of a great chart play and what appears to be really good news.

friday could be good....

In case any of you are interested, here is my summary of the annual report numbers that I worked through last night. I'll admit I'm a bit biased in favor of the company's success, and someone else could probably spin these numbers in a less positive form, but I think I'm giving them a fair estimation.

Here is the link for SEVI’s 10KSB Annual Report (ending May, 2006):

http://biz.yahoo.com/e/060928/sevie.ob10ksb.html

Gross revenue up 20%: $4,524,662 vs. $3,768,687 for May, 2005
-Consulting division revenue up 3%
-Next Hire division revenue up 131%
[Cost of goods sold up 37%: ($1,597,899) vs. ($1,168,962)]
Gross Profit up 13%: $2,926,763 vs. $2,599,725
[Operating expenses up 20%: ($3,573,244) vs. ($2,979865)]

Gross Margins (revenue-costs of goods/revenue) down 4.3%: 64.7% vs. 69.0%
Operating Margins (revenue-all operating expenses/revenue) down 4.3%: (14.3%) vs (10.1%)

Margins are very important as they indicate the efficiency of the company (i.e making more with less). SEVI’s gross margins are already very good being roughly 2/3 of their revenue and the slight change here appears to be non-significant (i.e. within normal variability). However, if anything, it may be a result of reorganization of the multiple companies SEVI recently acquired. As this period of acquisition/reorganization transitions to a period of revenue growth (as laid out in the company’s strategic plan), we should look for the operating margins to increase.

Current Assets: $5,617,229
Current Liabilities (non-derivative, e.g. loans): $1,392,146
Current Liabilities (derivative): $11,028,086

The estimated value of the derivatives is calculated based on the current stock value. Since the stock price has fallen, the derivative liabilities have increased. While still important to consider, this liability disappears if the stock price goes back up.

Based on actual non-derivative liabilities, the Financial Strength Current Ratio (Assets/Liabilities) is 4.03.

Shares were diluted 2.9-fold from 87 million to 249 million. Expected share value based on gross profit decreased 61% (from $0.0299 to $0.0118). Note: this price was reached in the middle of June and remained stable there through the end of July. The gradual decline during August and September appears to be an overshoot. If so, the current share price of 0.0019 is at a discount of 84%, (not including expected future growth). Were the stock to rebound to actual value at this point, it would bring a 621% increase over the current depressed price.

Hey Asklep, your first post on allstocks was pretty well thought out. Nice break down. One important thing that is very hard to see from financial reports is CASH FLOW. Cash flow, in many cases, is more important than bottom line figures. We are moving in the right direction.

You're welcome. I've been following the progress of Systems Evolution for the past two years and from the acquisitions they've carried out and the growth rate they've achieved, they're clearly making an aggressive stab at growing this company fast. They have the revenue stream, the technology background, and the reputation and connections in Texas that I think they will pull it off (as long as the stock gets back on track so the derivatives don't end up causing a problem when they come due in the next few years). We'll just have to watch and see. So far so good.

State the number of shares of common stock outstanding as of May 31, 2006: 249,374,793

Based on actual non-derivative liabilities, the Financial Strength Current Ratio (Assets/Liabilities) is 4.03.

The rest is blue sky and eyewash. We know the O/S is higher now, figure 337M tops.

I think you're in the right ballpark. As I calculated in my first post on the 29th, the dilution should have brought the base value of the stock down to 0.012. The company's assets are four times its long-term debt (other than the derivatives which are based on the stock price) and SEVI is continuing to grow. If the price goes up somewhat gradually over the next week or two rather than simply spiking and falling, it should be able to build support at more than 1 cent.

System Evolution’s Growth Plan

Before investing more in Systems Evolution, I decided to do a little more research today. Here’s what I found.

I’m sure many of you saw this press release back in May. It describes SEVI’s strategic plan to continue growth:
http://today.reuters.com/news/articleinvesting.aspx?view=PR&storyID=125991+31-Ma y-2006+BW&type=qcna&search=sevi.ob&searchtype=symbol&norics=1.html

It includes a link to an article in CRN magazine from that same month where SEVI is referenced as predicting 6.5 million in revenue for the current year (through May ‘07), or approximately a 45% increase over the ’05-’06 revenue that was just reported.
http://www.crn.com/sections/special/reports/profitability.jhtml?ArticleID=187200 108&pgno=7

This predicted increase appears to be supported by their expansion plans. SEVI’s Next Hire office in Houston demonstrated a 131% increase in Revenue for ’05-’06, and Next Hire just opened a new office in Austin in June. Since Next Hire’s revenue currently comes from the Oil/Gas industry (their major clients are Shell Oil and Staffing Technology), I expect this revenue to remain strong in the near future. SEVI is currently predicting a 70% increase in Next Hire’s revenue for the current year: from 1 million to 1.7 million. (Next Hire receives its revenue as payments from the hiring company equal to 15-25% of the annual salary of the hired individual.)

Furthermore, SEVI’s consulting division has just undergone a makeover that has already allowed them to win several new contracts (prior to this change, their major client was the State of Texas government). They have recently become a managed service provider which allows them to provide their computing services via remote access and thereby become much more efficient, with predicted gross profit increases. See the below description of this recent change:

Download the pdf file from this site:
http://www.n-able.com/programs/msp/cases/
Info from their website:
http://www.systemsevolution.com/index.php?option=com_content&task=view&id=51&Ite mid=45.html
An article they just published in Smart Business Houston:
http://houston.sbnonline.com/marticle.asp?periodicalKey=32&particleKey=12361

In its annual report, SEVI states its intention to double its consulting and Next Hire sales force this year. In addition, they plan to hire 8 or more Microsoft-certified consultants and 8 or more Next Hire recruiting professionals this year. This hiring would result in a 64% increase in their employees, from 33 to 54. Their stated reason for these additions is that the demand for their services outreaches their current manpower.

If their gross margins remain stable at 64% of revenue, then they’re predicting 4.3 million in gross profit for this year. Divide 4.3 million by roughly 300 million shares (this number includes additional likely dilution since the 250 listed in the annual report) and you get a value of 1.7 cents/share.

Although I will refrain from predicting how the stock price will respond as this is still a penny stock, I think 0.017 is a conservative estimate of SEVI’s real value based on their current number of shares and their predicted revenue for the coming year (0.012 based on revenue from the past year).

Best,
Asklepidaurus

yeah, that was a weird close...HDSN seemed to have a lot of shares left...

I am thinking that they might possibly throw a highlight PR on the 10-K on wednesday after the -E is off...it's possible, and it's a good way to get the PPS up if you are a company that just diluted their stock and was delinquent in filing...

This is going to go much much higher . Its featured on the sharkster.8m.com website,

I got an email alert from them on it , bought SSSU on their alert and NVMG at 0.0070 on heir alert , made almost 220% on both today ,, now SEVI ison there

That's encouraging.

I am not usually into those kind of sites, but they seem to be doing rather well with their picks. I'm sure none of us will argue that this is a good pick as well...Their target is .0056, let's see if it hits that soon...

Just listened to Rhodes' interview from yesterday.

According to him, news and/or 8K filings are coming out today and Thursday. Stated that an additional 500,000 of their debt has been paid off and they have additional significant long-term contracts signed.

I would like to see this back in the .005 range this week...just might happen...

Posted by OILDOG on :

Moneyx3, my charts (Quotetracker) show nearing 70 RSI,where it usually bounces down (resistance),and AD flat to slight up (daily chart). Most other indicators still moving up. Some peeps I talk to use weekly for the "real stocks".
My question is: How useful do you find weekly charts for pinks, given the volatility,bs,and manipulation that goes on daily, even hourly?
Does weekly work better for you than the "noise" from daily?

Posted by cottonjim on :

OILDOG, in my opinion, charts have virtualy nothing to do with pinks in the short term, they only show trends (long term). Today when that fake P.R. came out about microsoft the MM's upticked it untill people realized that the P.R. was B.S. All of the sudden the price went down. The whole thing is MM manipulation. THat PR had nothing to do with the stock price, the MM's were preying on investor sentament.

wow chart oh my goodness this thing is going to see .005 no problem. if you are selling this now that is crazy, relax have patience. Rhodes said today and thursday on the interview for news. So I'm thinking tomorrow is a pretty sure bet. He sounded a little unsure about today in the interview but said 2 updates this week so we'll see. locked and loaded

Posted by OILDOG on :

Cotton, true up to a point. The overall trend of most pinks/pennies is down, either on bottom or headed there. heh. SEVI is in a long downtrending LRC,broke the top line (strong resistance)last two days,so may bounce to sma50 at .005.TSF 9 & 15 still under doji so I'm thinking more upward movement.I find the CCI histogram starts up and painting green before the MACD wakes up.TSF 5 & 9 are great for intraday. The 5 WILL tell you the stocks direction beforehand,on the intraday.
Anyway, just curious about the use of weekly for pennies. tnx

Posted by OILDOG on :

About the bogus PR. Not sure if skip is the perp or brought it from another board. Better to pull a PR from legit news source (yahoo,Business Wire, ect.)than to pull something from another board and post elsewhere. Laziness has its price! Could get tainted forever. [Eek!]

OILDOG, I use the RSI usually as a last indicator of an uptrend. Kinda like a "backup". I don't really trade off the RSI alone because I do try to include news, upcoming news/events, and investor sentiment at the time. As for the daily chart I have the RSI at 39.73 with accum and dist nowhere to go but up and aroon showing consolidation, esp in the weekly chart.

J_U_ICE, don't worry about it. When posting thousands of news/articles and you have one or two messups thats ok!!! Thanks for your contributions.

Will, thanks again for the heads up on this monster!!!

Yes. Ive read of some who use the RSI almost exclusively for daytrading. Too choppy, doesnt work for me. And I've been learning to use the AD as a heads up. You can sometimes see the front loading.Well, I was just curious. May try comparing to see if its a help for me. Everyone has their favorite methods/indicators,ect. Find something that works and stick with it till it doesnt. [Big Grin] These momentum/adrenaline plays are mostly about hype/news anyway. tnx cotton

AD is a great tool, I am starting to use that as well. Another one that I am liking is Parabolic SAR. It is a great signal for a reversal or start of an uptrend. Check this out...

http://stockcharts.com/education/IndicatorAnalysis/indic_ParaSAR.htm

I invite you to run some different stocks through a chart with the SAR overlay that are running, and check out their SAR... (great segway for the SEVI chart) it really signals the uptrend, and can help you see when the run is over and the downtrend begins...

SEVI's SAR dots still pushing up...
http://stockcharts.com/h-sc/ui?s=SEVI&p=D&b=5&g=0&id=p15995587169

GBDX is a great example, check out where the SAR dots flip to the bottom and start pushing up, a day or so before the big bounce...

http://stockcharts.com/h-sc/ui?s=GBDX&p=D&b=5&g=0&id=p15995587169

pretty cool...thought I would share.

thanks for sharing your analytical tools as well...

skip awesome job with the SAR definetly starting to use that now... i figure we're always hanging out on the same threads, its bout time i give you a round of stars. thanks for always giving out solid info bud!

Posted by skip on :

no prob man, thanks for the stars! what's funny is that I gave you 5 today after you tried to call the T/A for NVMG. Figured you should have more than 3, but as we know the stars don't truly reflect a member's worth, otherwise we would be some 5 star gangsters... [Cool]

now let's get SEVI into that .005+ range...

awwww you two are cute together...

I know I am new here...but I need to give you some stars on that...the SAR chart is one of the my top 5 resources now! Thanks SKIP!

no problem Dave, glad it helped you! SAR is a great tool for the arsenal that a lot of traders overlook. now look in that 5 resource crystal ball of yours and tell me when SEVI is going to run... [Big Grin]

Posted by OILDOG on :

Good stuff seldom seen here skip. tnx. We need more of it. Quotetracker will allow me to set up multiple chart templates,so, think Ill try one with SAR. wwwwoooooffff!!

Posted by Asklepidaurus on :

Yes, that's impressive. They're up nearly 2 million net income for the last quarter compared with losses in the millions for the previous 3 quarters. Something's changed.

Also, notice that their gross margins are really improving!!! That's the best news I've seen so far. To earn 1 million in revenue, their costs from the most recent two quarters have dropped 26% to an average of 340,000 from an average of 460,000. Next, they need to work on their operating margins. The improvements they mentioned last quarter (remote enterprise management, etc) should help with that.

-Asklepidaurus

Yes. I'm looking toward the 0.01+ range. I am almst certain at this point that the stock will get back there. The question is how fast it will rebound.

The uptick on Friday on Monday was due to the certainty of a climb with the -e coming off. However, due to anticipation, the first part of that climb occurred prior to the return to SEVI.

During the last two days, people have been accumulating, as well as being a little cautious after being stung over the past month. For this reason, I will offer my analysis of the past few month's activity.

From Dec '05-Mar '06, it became clear that SEVI was continuing to grow aggressively, that that growth was translating into profits, and that the company was being recognized for its quality by outside groups such as achieving Microsoft Gold status and achieving the top growth rate for technology companies in Houston for the previous year by the FastTech50. The stock price soared from 0.01 to 0.07 and then settled into 0.025 with an upward trend.

In April, two things happened. First they doubled their S-8 dilution from 50 to 100 million, and the general market fell after the new Fed's comments. These two event slowed but did not drop the stock price. In May SEVI announced that it was reevaluating its '04-'05 10K due to new rules about reporting Derivatives. As it turns out, SEVI actually had a 2 million profit in derivatives at the time due to the upswing in the stock price. If they had reported that result at the time, I think the stock would have continued its upward trend. Unfortunately for the stock value, the reevaluation of the accounting took 3 months to complete.

During that time, the stock value began a decline as uncertainty arose about what the accounting reevaluation meant. Then, at the beginning of August, they again increased the dilution, but only by 50 million, which at that point was only at 20% increase (i.e. from 250 to 300 shares). Yet the stock price dropped by about 40%. And then the final blow was that the accounting reevaluation could not be completed by the filing due date and so SEVI spent September with an extra E on its name. The stock price fell by 75%.

Now for the good news. SEVI is continuing to grow its revenue and the company is still on the same upswing that was clear at the beginning of the year when the stock price had settled at 0.03. All the accounting info is out there now, and had the stock price not dropped, the derivatives would actually show up as net profit rather than loss (thus at this point I am cautiously ignoring them).

Thus, with a simple adjustment for the 2X dilution, the stock value would be 0.01+ (assuming the continued upward trend during at least some of the intervening months). This is in line with the 0.012 share value calculated by dividing their gross profits by 300 million shares.

So yes, I agree this stock should be at 0.01+ with an upward trend. That's SEVI's actual current value, so today's share price is still at a 75% discount. If the news is a prediction about future earnings, that would probably raise the value past the 0.01 level and the stock price will rebound fairly quickly. Without such news, I expect SEVI to gradually climb over the next few months simply due to its inherent value. However, I expect we'll hear something that at least hints toward an increase in future earnings.

Now this is a pretty good start to the day! This just came across BusinessWire and showed up in my Ameritrade account. Not yet on Yahoo Financials or SEVI's website, so check them later to make sure it's legit. It's something new, and it's likely bigger than their big contracts with the consulting division that they announced a few months ago (but did not release the company names.)

According to that news release, SEVI is going to fill all the positions of one of Petrobras Oil's new sites (Petrobras is the 14th largest oil company in the world--see above news release).

I think this contract with Petrobras may be the first time SEVI's Next Hire division has actually been "retained" to fill all the positions of an entire US branch of an international company. In the past, it's been more of a piece-meal program, where companies come to SEVI when they need to fill one spot. If this contract follows Next Hire's normal practice, they should receive fees equal to about 20% of the annual income of each person they hire. Assuming there will be a spread of income from geophysicists (~$60,000-$80,000) to executives (~$150,000+) to secrtaries (~$30,000) (this is all guessing)--let's say an average of $100,000/position and there's 80 positions . . .

100,000 x 0.2 x 80 = 1.6 million!!! (--estimate--)

That aready beats Next Hire's entire annual revenue from this past year. Also, SEVI states that this contract fully utilizes SEVI's Next Hire services, and those services include an option for full managed hiring (i.e. on an on-going basis to fill vacated positions in the future).

Any more news today?!

Posted by Asklepidaurus on :

This is already enough news for one day. Think about it--this is the tip of the iceberg for Next Hire. They just started offering this Managed Contract for hiring (as opposed to the person-by-person approach) and they've already gotten a huge bite! If they win just a couple more contracts like this, they will easily take SEVI's entire balance sheet into the ++++++++!! And SEVI announced in the fine print of their 10K that they're in the process of doubling their Next Hire staff this year (same for the consulting division).

Cheers!

Systems Evolution Business Update
Thursday October 5, 12:00 pm ET

HOUSTON--(BUSINESS WIRE)--Systems Evolution (OTCBB:SEVI - News) is pleased to announce the appointment of Mr. Eddie R. Tipton to its board of directors. "Mr. Tipton brings knowledge of managed services and their implementation, as well as managing diverse businesses in the oil & gas industry to our board," says Chairman and CEO Mr. Robert C. Rhodes.

Everyone at Systems Evolution was saddened at the passing of Mr. John B. Dewberry, one of its directors and chairman of its audit committee, on Monday, September 18, 2006. Mr. Dewberry served on SEVI's board of directors since 1993.

Systems Evolution has converted $818,105 out of $3,325,000 of debt into the company's common shares. This debt conversion accounts for a majority of share issuances over the last year, leaving today's outstanding share count at 492,128,052 million shares.

Systems Evolution's board has negotiated another three-year management contract for Mr. Rhodes' services as Chairman and CEO, ensuring management continuity. The board has also finalized forgiveness of $100,000 of debt owed to Mr. Rhodes. This will decrease the current A/P outstanding by 22%.

New Share Value Estimate: 0.0112

Today's news gave us two pieces of information.

First--a 160% increase in earnings from Next Hire (approximately 1.6 million from the new deal in addition to 1 million from normal business), for an estimated annual revenues of at least 2.6 million (with the possibility of additional contracts using the same managed approach)

Second--a 60% increase in share dilution from our estimate 300 to 490.

SEVI's gross profit estimate was 4.5 million. The new contract now moves that to 5.5 million (0.6 million to expenses with SEVI's stable 65% margins).

Thus, my new estimate of their base share price (disregarding potential for future growth) is:

$5,500,000/490,000,000 = 0.0112

Who's got the scoop on why it is not happening for SEVI?

Posted by Asklepidaurus on :

Here's what I think . . .

There were two issues with the news yesterday.

First, there was a technical problem in the central news distributor yesterday so that for the first half of the day, the really exciting profits news only showed up on BusinessWire and not on other services like Yahoo. This decreased the viewership and some investors may have been cautious since they didn't know at the time why the news didn't show up everywhere. As a result, the price didn't spike as high.

Second, SEVI's second news release included a discussion of the dilution that has happened over the past two months.

When you add these two factors together, the expected share value stayed the same, around 0.012. So we're continuting to trade 75% below value. We need new investors with more money to become aware of the quality of this stock and its current huge discount in order to drive the price up to its fair market value (there may also still be some significant naked shorting going on). In a way, I'm glad the price didn't spike so high since I'm holding this stock long-term. If we ease up gradually, the stock will seem more stable to investors and build strength rather than just spiking and falling. The quality of the company is clear--they're growing their profits and they're reaching all the milestones they've predicted. The next year is going to be fun to watch.

Take care,

I like the look of the RSI, this week looks solid.

Posted by Asklepidaurus on :

I hope you all had a nice weekend. Here’s my summary of SEVI from last week for any newcomers to this list:

Beginning of last week: Systems Evolution's symbol returned to SEVI (from SEVIE) after filing their 10K which showed a 20% increase in revenues for the past year, and the share price jumped from 0.0015 to 0.0027 (spiking to 0.0035). Take a look at the 10K for details (and of course note the standard risk statement for a developing company, etc):
http://biz.yahoo.com/e/060928/sevi.ob10ksb.html

End of week: Announced 160% (estimated) increase in revenues from SEVI's Next Hire division
--33% (estimated) increase in SEVI's overall revenue for the coming year (excluding an additional possible increase from SEVI's computing consulting division which recently achieved Microsoft Gold Partner Status).

SEVI's new managed services contract is with Petrobras Oil (14th largest oil company in the world, valued at 88 billion), is for 3 years, and includes the hiring of all personnel at Petrobras' new U.S. installation.
http://biz.yahoo.com/bw/061005/20061005005297.html?.v=1

In their 10K, they also announced their intentions to double their employees due to increased demand for their services.

SEVI paid off 25% of their long-term loans over the past year (by converting to shares).

SEVI appointed Eddie R. Tipton to its board of directors. Mr. Tipton is the Senior Security Consultant to the Multi-State Lottery Association---MUSL runs the well-known "PowerBall" game: http://www.musl.com/

We received an up-to-date tally of the number of SEVI shares at 490 million, with no indication of further share dilution, although management hasn't explicitly stated an end yet:
http://biz.yahoo.com/bw/061005/20061005005626.html?.v=1

We have a new estimate for this year's gross profits at 5.5 million (on an estimated revenue of 8 million--by my calculations).

The new projected share value is 0.0112 ($5.5 million/490 million shares).

Thus, SEVI's current share price of 0.0027 appears to be a 75% discount.

Take care,
Asklepidaurus

Expecting a gradual but significant increase over the next few weeks. But will spike if more news comes out (e.g. we've received recent news from only one of their two main divisions--Next Hire, and we know their computing consulting division has also won some new contracts recently).

Posted by Asklepidaurus on :

It appears that with no strong buying pressure at open, someone was able to push the price down with very little volume (250,000-500,000 shares) and trigger a lot of sales at the 0.0022-0.0021 range. Since then the price has been fairly stable. While I didn't expect the stock to drop 20% today, I am not surprised. It bounced off the same level a couple of times last week. It will probably need more news to push to the next level. By now I'm used to this sort of movement with SEVI.

Why would we gap up? That makes no sense, we might gap up if a pr was released afterhours or before open wednesday. But, we wont just gap up because you want it to. The stock will remain in this range untill a new pr is released. It may even decline as shareholders lose interest in the stock. Don't get me wrong I want .01 as much as the next guy, but lets not spread rumors of gapping.

Posted by Asklepidaurus on :

The way I've dealt with this stock all along is to thoroughly investigate its current financial status, the potential of its business model, and the quality of the people in charge. As a developing company, the financial status has been the weak spot in the past. But with increasing reveune, that appears to be changing quickly now. You can see a similar situation with even established companies--say Sun Microsystems. Sun has essentially 0been a development company for the past five years and only this year has started transforming their investments in research into new profits. On a much smaller scale, Systems Evolution has spent the past 3 years organizing disparate private companies into a functioning whole.

I like the fact that SEVI is diversified in both expertise and clients. They are a technology company, a human resources company, and a consulting company. Their major clients span both the Oil/Gas industry and the Medical Field. Those are the two major industries in Houston, and SEVI is tapping into those opportunities quite well.

However, a good company does not a growth stock make overnight. Investor interest in the company has to be generated. SEVI had a decent amount of interest, but lost quite a bit with their share dilutions. If those dilutions stabilize or stop, investor interest will return--gradually. But a few PRs timed to correlate with that halt in the share dilution would likely move the share price very quickly.

As I said in my very first post to this list, Systems Evolution is a solid company that is well-positioned to continue growing quickly.

Support is .002 - probably will drop for few more points...
2.5 million of debt (out of previously 3,325,000) - still serious problem here - they could (and probably would) issue an additional 2-3 hundred million shares to cover...
Not bashing - I have big enough position in SEVI - just frustrated to see that dilution is continued like forever...

let's go up.. PR will boost the price to over .005 and then up to 1c again

My apologies guys.

Never saw it coming. Should have realized it smelled when they overdiluted past the 150M filed in the S8.

Tough business these pennies. Not only do you fight the MM manipulation and shorting, but you have to be on guard against the greedy, lying, diluting, CEO's.

Well, I am not about to write it completely off at this point. I expect the news will cause a substantial sell off. Not sure if the MM knew and cleared their inventories, but if they didn't know, rest assured, they will be back for their money some day soon.

On October 17, 2006, the Company's Board of Directors authorized, and the Company subsequently filed a Form 15 with the Securities and Exchange Commission on October 19, 2006. Pursuant to the filing, the Company will no longer file reports under Section 13 and 15(d) of the Securities and Exchange Act of 1934 and will trade on the Pink Sheets, LLC quotation system.

Posted by will on :

It held at .0015 today, actually I expected worse than that. I am not pumping this, and it could wind up being a total wipeout due to an eventual R/S possibility, but they don't always end in train wrecks.

EZTO failed to file their required Q1 form 10 this year, and were assigned an "E", eventually the "E" was removed, and it was delisted and sent to pinkland. It was trading in the .005 / .006 range when it was delisted, and if you check the chart you will see a spike to .036 the middle of October '06.

Now I don't say that to give anyone false hope, not all fairytales end good, sometime the Wolf does eat Little Red Ridinghood. I've been down 50%, and even more over the course of a couple years playing these lying, cheating, pos pennies. I have sold some and took the hit only to see them recover and surpass my wildest expectations. They are high risk plays, all of them, no matter how solid they look. So, either bail out, take your hit, or hope the Wolf ain't hungry. You call it, heads or tails !

Posted by bb money on :

Will are you expecting this to move a little when they file and the e is removed.

Posted by will on :

They are not going to file. They elected to become a nonreporting compnay. That means they are no longer a OTCBB, but are classified as a pink OTC only. The difference is the standard of reporting they are held to. OTCBB are required to file financials quarterly, pinks, well, God knows what they are required to do, they operate in the wild West of the markets.
I do not know what will happen with it. The "E" will be removed for sure, but not the way we would like to see done via a Form 10, it will come off as a result of delisting. It could hold between .001 / .015, it could dilute further, (and we wouldn't know until after the fact, if at all), it could R/S, it could do other positive things, and have gains. I'm not going to bullsh1t you, because most situations like this do not turn out good. No one knows the best case scenario, but the best worse case scenario, (if that makes sense), is that if they do R/S it has a run before the split. For the amount I have invested in this, and gains I have realized from other plays, it is worth it for me to hold on, and see what develops. Everyone's situation is different, so you will have to weigh your pros and cons, and decide what is best for *you* .

Thanks Will appreciate it made some good money off of this a while ago when you recommended it. Been watching it a while and made money last time off the e, sorry to here that they are moving to pinkyland I really think this company has potential. Hopefully it makes a nice little run for you in the near future.

Glad you made money. Hope you had PXPT, alerted 10/12 and it doubled from the alert price today.

Hmmm . . . I just returned from a 2 week trip and I see things have changed a bit with the stock price. However, I don't see any changes in the fundamentals of the company. In fact, moving to the pinksheets saves SEVI about $1,000,000/yr in reporting costs (according to a couple of e-mails from the CEO posted by other investors on the InvestorsHub SEVI board). That alone would give the company a 25% increase in gross profits. Nothing else appears to have changed. The value and potential of the company with their recent new multimillion dollar contracts are still a very good opportunity. So although I feel a bit roughed up by the drop in stock price, I'm considering investing more at these lower levels.

I also agree with Will that there is significant risk here. Nevertheless, since I felt that SEVI was a tremendous bargain at 0.0030 and since nothing has changed in the fundamentals of the company, I do feel that SEVI is an even greater bargain at 0.0012. Of course, I wish the management had been a bit more forthcoming about the change and had made a broader effort to point out the positive financial aspect of moving to the pinksheets.

SEVI is back. The transition from BB to PK is complete and the E is now off their name. This transition will save the company $500,000-$1,000,000/year so hopefully that will be viewed as a good thing. Awaiting further news . . .

This 70% jump this morning is a bit surprising with no news release. I was expecting such a jump, but with news. It's possible that the rise is due to StockMonster picking SEVI as one of its two stock picks today (***************.com), but their other pick (QTCE) is going nowhere, so I can't be sure about that. Their target price for SEVI is 0.003. As I've mentioned before, the target price for SEVI based on their gross profits from last quarter is 0.012, but I'm not sure the stock has quite that support yet. Any thoughts?

(I'm reposting this here in case anyone is still looking at this somewhat out-of-date board)

SEVI’s Government and Healthcare contracts:

Recently, the focus of attention has been on SEVI’s new multimillion dollar permanent placement contract with Petrobras Oil (which was through SEVI’s “Next Hire” division). As a result, I had somewhat undervalued the extent to which their Consulting division has become the provider of choice for the State of Texas Government. Check out this link to SEVI’s website where they list the 20+ state agencies that have selected SEVI as their solution provider (including the Office of the Governor, Attorney General, Health & Human Services, Department of Transportation, Department of Education, Texas Lottery Commission, Texas Senate, University of Texas, etc.). From SEVI’s website, choose “Consulting Division”, and then choose the “Division Background” subsection:

http://www.systemsevolution.com/index.php?option=com_content&task=category§i onid=6&id=37&Itemid=99

To put this in perspective, the Texas gross state product last year was $927 billion dollars (or roughly 1/10 of the entire U.S. economy), and if Texas was still an independent nation, its economy would rank as the eighth largest in the world. (Think about it this way—the exports for the entire United States in 2005 amounted to $904 billion.) The State of Texas budget this year, including federal funds given to Texas State agencies, was around $125 billion (Dept. of Education--$33 billion, Health and Human Services--$30 billion, Dept. of Transportation--$15 billion, etc.) Hence, with this in mind, I plan to give much more importance to SEVI’s on-going relationship with the State of Texas.

Health Care Contracts—something additional that might interest you is a note at the end of the government contract list on their website--SEVI is branching out into health care database management. (Recall that Houston has the largest medical center in the world-—the “Texas Medical Center”: http://www.tmc.edu ). I’m sure there’s plenty of competition in this sector, but it seems they already have some contracts: “Currently developing a clinical trial data access reporting system for an international pharmaceutical testing company.” It would be nice to see SEVI’s Consulting division develop a strong footing in health care/pharmaceuticals to balance their current overweighted focus on government contracts. (Of course, their Next Hire division is heavily focused on the oil & gas industry, so that already provides some balance.)

If a White Spinning Top is observed after a long decline or a long black candlestick, this implies weakness among the bears and it is a warning about a potential change or interruption in trend.

Take it easy, Superman. The MMs have
set up a very nice chart for bottom bounce.

http://stockcharts.com/h-sc/ui?s=sevi&p=W&yr=0&mn=6&dy=0&id=p91711652400

Just sit back and watch. The MMs will run
it and cash in. They have been working on
SEVI for the past 6 months. The final phase
of the work is to raise the pps. In a few
days every thing will be clear and people
will rush in.

Here is some additional info I found regarding SEVI’s revenue as well as some additional articles about the new contract with Petrobras oil (some previously posted and some new).

In 2004, SEVI had revenue of $3.76 million (according to Houston Business Journal):
http://houston.bizjournals.com/houston/stories/2005/11/07/focus5.html

Their recent 10K showed $4.5 million in revenue for last year, and according to the following article from earlier this year, they’re predicting $6.5 million for the current year:
http://www.crn.com/showArticle.jhtml?articleId=187200108&pgno=7&queryText=%22sys tems+evolution%22

However, that was before the contract with Petrobras Oil which may add to this fiscal year’s revenue:

http://www.offshore-mag.com/articles/article_display.cfm?Section=ARTCL&ARTICLE_I D=278120&page=2

Here is also a short quote from Rhodes regarding his thoughts on what makes for good business partners (partway down the article):
http://www.crn.com/showArticle.jhtml?articleId=193001001&pgno=2&queryText=%22sys tems+evolution%22
