FREMONT, CA -- (MARKET WIRE) -- 05/25/06 -- Cardima, Inc. (OTCBB: CRDM) today announced that the U.S. Food and Drug Administration (FDA) has granted 510(k) marketing clearance for the new Cardima Ablation System, which ablates cardiac tissue during heart surgery using radio frequency (RF) energy. This system is expected to be used primarily by surgeons performing cardiac surgery using standard hospital laparoscopic as well as thorascopic techniques.
The Cardima Ablation System uses three components: commercially available surgical radio frequency generators; the new Cardima Surgical Ablation Probe with a linear array of multi-electrodes and adjacent thermocouples using the core technology similar to the Company's REVELATION® series ablation micro-catheters; and a novel energy management device called the INTELLITEMP®, which uses a temperature feedback feature to apply RF energy to single or multiple electrodes on the probe simultaneously. The new surgical ablation probe includes a specially designed stabilizer suction device with an illuminated tip for better visibility, which is clipped to the electrode array to maintain electrode-tissue contact during hands free ablation.

OVERVIEW

Our micro-catheters incorporate multiple electrodes at the distal end to record electrical signals for mapping and, with certain micro-catheters, to transfer radio frequency energy for tissue ablation, allowing physicians to both map and ablate arrhythmias using the same micro-catheter. Our micro-catheters are designed with variable stiffness guidewire technology and a highly flexible distal tip to allow more extensive and less traumatic access to the chambers and vasculature of the heart. More recently, we have leveraged our proprietary technologies for treating AF into the development of products for the surgical market. On January 29, 2003, we received notice from the FDA that it had approved for commercialization of our SAS for use in cardiac surgery. This new system connects the Cardima Surgical Ablation Probe, a deflectable multi-electrode linear array micro-catheter technology, to a commercially available electrosurgical radio frequency generator through the INTELLITEMP(R), a multi-channel radio frequency, or RF, energy management device. This system allows surgeons to direct RF energy through any combination of up to eight probe electrodes simultaneously into cardiac tissue, a feature which can significantly reduce the time required to perform an ablation-based "maze" procedure. Since September 2003, the SAS has been utilized on a limited basis to treat AF as an adjunct procedure to valve replacement. In the first quarter of 2004, the SAS was utilized in two less invasive cases for the treatment of AF, opening the door to the prospect of the SAS technology being broadly used in a stand-alone procedure to treat AF. We do not currently plan to market our SAS ourselves, and are currently seeking to sell or otherwise consummate a strategic transaction for this system.
We have generated revenues of approximately $21.3 million from inception to December 31, 2005. I've held some shares for a while, .04 back in Jan. 06, after reading an internet article about their pending developments, former NASDAQ listing, etc. Did some DD ... historical prices, financial statements, etc. and kept it on my radar for a news update. When news broke this morning, I jumped on it. No way I knew it would run 800%, but I posted the news release knowing that alot of the sharp people on this board would not let it slip by them. Didn't get much response at first. Actually slipped back to the .06's from .09. Glad alot of you got in on this. The market has really been in the s****r the last 2 weeks. Closed at its high. Should gap up nicely in the morning. But BEWARE .... the dreaded LONG WEEKEND !! Profit taking could be heavy tomorrow .... just mho !!

I realized that when I got up in the middle of the night to get something to drink I had to check ALLSTOCKS and find what was being talked about and checking the PR wires. I might become rich but by that time I'll be so crazy I won't know what to do with the money

I guess we're all crazy then. Especially me since I followed this thread all day and never pulled the trigger. I could have bought at 600% gain, 700% gain, or 750% gain, but I balked. Who knew it would go up over 1100%.
I'm just so used to buying a runner just to see it start dumping on the first trade after mine.

I almost never touch anything that runs up more that 50%. Why I ask myself did I buy this at .15 ??? Im not going to get rich with this stock, but I know a good thing when I see one, and this is a good thing. Am I going to hold this to see if things get better? No way!!! Tomorrow hopefully it gappes up and I sell it to make my few hundred thousand....just kidding. Few hundred. Be smart and play this the right way. It may go up another 100%-200% but will come down ten fold. IMO of course G/L

This will be very interesting to watch today. I did not jump in yesterday either, but I never chase anything that goes up over 50-60%~. I try to wait for a dip. Stocks that go 300+% are freaky!! You just keep waiting for the dip and it never happens. Then you finally get in, and it falls quicker than it went up.
I thought about getting in late yesterday afternoon for the morning gap, but I was too scared to do that too.

EZ i know the feeling but this pr was really big news and will create a lot of revenues for them so this is still undervalued here and more bigger players will step into this one because it was a nasdaq company is the past who got delisted there...it will be a bumpy ride but i think it will go to a dolar in the next weeks...they just need to release an extra pr now

Thats definitely an overbought signal. We need to see the rsi back to 30 or below. But todays Friday and its the biggest profit-taking day of the week.
IMO MM's will let it dip then do a crazy run up then dump at the end of the day. Bastaards

Bought another 10K shares at .19. At .20/share the market cap is only 20 million. This company struggled for years to get this approval, and now that they finally have it, theres not much of a company left to fund it. I may be wrong and I may get killed, but I like the chances for accumulation leading to a buyout.

hi guys crdm didnt perform the way everyone thought would do today . yest was wonderful but today the stock was disappointing
morning before market bid was 0.26 everyone thought stock would run from there but it was the other way around.
everyone hoped stock would reach atleast 0.35 the way it closed yest, i feel the stock can go low to 0.10 and then again have a run

I think this stock has too much potential to be going down to .10; after a more than 800% increase a 25%-30% pullback due to profit taking is not a big deal. Profit takers are out and now this stock will have a good week next week and you never know a PR on tues. can send this flying.

I flipped this baby twice, first time I bought at 0.05 and sold at the hight. And today realizing it didn't fall much at the morning bought up my boatload and now I sold half. I now hold the rest to sell at a higher pps.

It has to "settle"...perhaps "flipping it" to average down as low as you can?...take out your orignal investment...and if YOU think that it has more of a run in it...let those free shares ride...or continue to flip and take $ out...just don't do this more than 3 times in 5 days....

Don't hold too long...nothing worse than watching your $ fade away...sometimes it's better to sell for a small loss...than a large one... My guess is that if it doesn't go back to .18 or above the .18 by today..then on Monday it may fall even farther...each day a little lower...
