Scottrade did the same thing to me just about every trade... I called the office in my area and the account manager explained their software was not designed to handle penny stocks
If you call them they will straighten it out but that is one of the reasons I left Scottrade and went to ChoiceTrade... Scottrade does not have as a high priority fixing any of the issues their platform has trading penny stocks.

I use Ameritrade and have had my NNRF shares for a couple of days now.

Scottrade- It's a mistake. Just call Scottrade and they'll fix it. Same message popped up for me the first time I sold on margin.
Stockgangsta- You better get used to the fact that if you are with Scottrade you will be the last one to get yoour shares in any kind of a merger, reversemerger, forward split, share dividend situation. I've played all those types of situations and was always the last to get my shares. By the time I got the additional shares the PPS had already tanked. So I always sell before I'm supposed to get the additional shares. That's life with Scottrade. Whoever that JD Power is that gives them an award every year is full of spit.

I use Scottrade and My NNRF shares showed up in my account after the close on Wenesday.
As far as issues with Scottrade, Yes their platform does not handle subpennies very well. You will get maintenance calls when you sell a subpenny. If you call your local office they will place the order for you at the internet rate. It clears up the following morning. It's annoying but since I'm not a day trader it doesn't make or break me. If you do roundtrips you should probably use a different company.
