Global Matrechs, Inc. Provides Update On NuCap(TM), Radiation- and Corrosion-Resistant Nuclear Technology
Tuesday May 9, 8:45 am ET

RIDGEFIELD, Conn.--(BUSINESS WIRE)--May 9, 2006--Today Global Matrechs, Inc. I don't think shorts are touching this. the b/a is coming closer together, which will get it more attention. hold tight. we'll hit 0.0067 and them move up. the fundamentals look solid.

By the way - I referred to the Hanford, Washington spill earlier, the one that was on 60 minutes last week, which is an ENORMOUS issue facing that nuclear plant. I didn't realize that GMTH is involved with that dilemma. Being handled by Bechtel, this is an $11 BILLION dollar job. Since GMTH is the company providing the coating for the cells of one of the biggest nuclear spills in the U.S. can only mean amazing things to come for this company.

An old PR, but important to read:

Global Matrechs Inc. Announces Receipt of First Commercial Order for NuCap(TM)
TUESDAY, MARCH 28, 2006 8:30 AM
- BusinessWire

RIDGEFIELD, Conn., Mar 28, 2006 (BUSINESS WIRE) -- Global Matrechs, Inc. http://www.globalmatrechs.com (GMTH) reports that it has received the first commercial order for NuCap(TM). The order was placed by Battelle-Pacific Northwest Laboratory in Richland, WA located at the Hanford Nuclear Waste Site. NuCap(TM) will be used to cover the walls of a "pit" in which there has been a radiation spill. Battelle was looking for a product that could adhere to concrete and to coat a radioactive residue spill along with providing life time isolation. This means Battelle wants to encapsulate this spill only one time.

Michael Sheppard, President of Global Matrechs, Inc. said, "Even though we have shipped NuCap(TM) to Hanford in the past, this is an order for a specific purpose and it is very satisfying to see the product starting to get the type of interest we expected in the past." Sheppard also stated "We are extremely pleased to have received our first commercial order from product that has been manufactured by Dow Corning, which demonstrates NuCap's applicability to cover radiation spills. This order generates the first revenue from NuCap(TM). We hope this will serve as a starting point and lead to additional orders for such purposes in this market."

Battelle was looking for a sure one-time encapsulation material and having known about NuCap(TM) wanted to use it. We shipped this order in March.

MORE ABOUT NuCap(TM)

NuCap(TM) is a silicon-based geocomposite which is highly radiation-resistant (unaffected by Alpha-radiation; gamma- and beta-radiation up to an absorbed dose of up to 10 gigarads), and can be provided in a variety of forms (fixative, foam, sealer or grout) to encapsulate and contain radioactive contamination. Additional NuCap(TM) characteristics include fire resistance (can withstand mechanical and Hot-cut transient temperature spikes up to 1,100 degrees F); corrosion resistant (to strong Alkali and acid solutions); easily applied to horizontal, vertical, or overhead surfaces, and can polymerize underwater; can form a smooth and wear-resistant surface for ease of decontamination; mixes with waste, which has up to 50% water by weight; adheres to unclean, wet or corroded surfaces and hot metal surfaces up to 120 degrees F) effective up to a 1:6 NuCap(TM)-to-radioactive-waste matrix; penetrates openings as small as 1.0 mm; uses conventional equipment in an easy application; is non-toxic and inert environmentally; and does not generate hazardous waste by itself.

I sent this e-mail to the CEO of GMTH, Michael Sheppard, yesterday. His answers are in bold:

Sent: Tuesday, May 09, 2006 2:01 PM
To: Jacquelyn Rostow
Subject: A Shareholder with a Couple of Questions

To whom it may concern:

I am a shareholder with two questions:

1. Is Globalmatrechs involved, in any capactiy, in the situation with the leaking nuclear waste in the Hanford, Washington region, highlighted on 60 minutes last week?

WE HAVE BEEN TO HANFORD AND HAVE DELIVERED THE PRODUCT ALREADY FOR SOME REMEDIATION

2. Does the U.S. Government have any interest in any of your newest developments? Will they become a client of yours in the near future?

WE ARE WORKING WITH THE DOE AND EPA TO MAKE THEM MORE AWARE OF OUR PRODUCTS

Thank you for taking the time to answer these questions from a
shareholder.

not worried...it'll dip to around 0.006, people will get some cheap shares and we'll move back toward 0.007. If you look at the chart, this thing does level off a bit and then will move again.

the ask is back up to .0067

Posted by HOTRODLSE on :

wow pete you call this one ask .0069

Posted by Wilder on :

with a little more buying pressure we'll break through the 7's easy. 90% of the trades have been at the ask so forget about the spread.

Posted by ChicagoPete on :

the bid/ask is all over the place. that'll clear up and we should move past 0.007. like wilder said, almost all of the trades are at the ask. the MM's continue to try and get cheap shares but I'm not nervous at all. Just the typical morning dip before we move into the green.

Posted by HOTRODLSE on :

why is the spread 7 apart

Posted by ChicagoPete on :

MM's trying to hold it down and get filled at 0.006. ain't gonna happen. but this will halt trading 'til they move it and more bids/asks come in. they'll split the difference and regulate soon.

Posted by ChicagoPete on :

I am floored this thing hasn't broke 0.007. Look at the size of these trades. almost all at the ask. Notice the HUGE trade gap from 11:05 - 11:39 when the b/a was 0.0007 apart:

we broke that 0.006 bid and now I think we'll move to 0.007. Let's go.

volume sux. but lots of support at 0.006. lots of indecision on direction for this one. just establishing itself. no worries.

don't give up yet, creeping back up slowly - today's been mediocre for me as well, but I think this has some life yet. MM's won't let this hit 0.006. looking at level II's they easily could've let it drop but didn't. good sign, IMO. Looking for a good finish by Friday, if you can hold that long. set your out point and wait. I'm not cashing in yet.
