it has the same management as ndol so you can expect the same things here...rumour goes in the next 14 days we have financials and the business they are going to follow..i will not be surprised if they also plan to take this stock to the otcbb which they did with ndol too...at 30 still a bargain because it is worth a few dollars

Posted by redmax on :

Is it me or does it seem like this stock is almost too good to be true? $40 million market cap and a 4 billion gold reserve? Why isn't everyone buying?

I thought the same about NDOL, and it finally took off, so I assume people just are not aware of AURC yet.

This stock could shoot to $5 in no time once the right pr is released.

Why should this go up in 2 weeks? I don't see anything that is scheduled to happen. Also, the PR says that the gold is high maintenance; doesn't that mean it costs a lot to get it out?

Posted by redmax on :

Over 1 million shares traded in the first hour. I think we will have a great close to this week.

Also once the money comes in on Ndol we will have a huge flock of investors trying to get in on this quickly. Stock up now in the silence.

Posted by Stockguru06 on :

this stock should run next week with a pr...stay tuned on this one...ndol is first and then this will follow

Posted by Trooper4985 on :

I don't know what to do... ride NDOL out till the buyout (if there is one) or jump ship when I've made a little more money and jump in on this before the report about what's in the ground comes out. My investment money has dried up for the next 3 paychecks (6 weeks) while I max out my 457b for the year... then I'll be back to being able to drop $1500 every two weeks into my Etrade account. I guess technically I could ride NDOL up to $1.9 and jump ship and then buy in to this as long as the price stays below $.9 because in the end I'd end up with the same amount of shares. Any penny vet's have any input... I know.. I have to make my own decisions about what to do with my money but I see a few people on here giving real good advice that makes people good returns.

This is looking good...any 1 - 2 month REALISTIC PPS expectations?

Posted by Stockguru06 on :

1 dollar rapo, with a few pr this month we get there easily...i hope they give pr about their reserves that they are proven and worth so much millions of dollars...have you seen how high gold is...it is the time to put something out and it runs like roadrunner

Posted by Repoman75 on :

WHat about the theory, buy on the rumor, sell on the news? Think that this will drop 5 - 10% after the PR, and that's the time to go in?

Posted by redmax on :

Up 15% on the day on pretty moderate voume. Looks like its setting up for a run on Monday if not EOD.

Posted by skipdeez on :

.30 may be a good entry point, any opinions on that?

Posted by Repoman75 on :

Baxt... why would NDOL money start flowing in here on Monday if NDOL is a $5 stock like people are saying? Aren't people going to hold NDOL for awhile?

Posted by Repoman75 on :

I plan on buying on Monday in the low .30's.. unless a PR hits, should be no problem getting that entry point.

Posted by Baxt06 on :

Well it all depends on the news, but there is definitely going to be some profit taking and people looking for their next investment. I think a lot will turn to this because of the great run NDOL has had. Even if it is a $5 stock, if you've been holding since $0.15 or so, you get a little trigger happy to take your money and run.

If it is a buyout, then whenever people get their cash, this could see a lot of new money coming in. Just my opinions...

BE VERY CAREFUL OF THE TERM ORE......1.9 MILLION OZ OF ORE DOES DEFINITELY NOT MEAN 1.9 MILLION OUNCES OF GOLD......however their new subsidiary with 5.7 million ounces is enough for me to take an interest... just be sure of all wording .... the title reads ore and the article itself further down says gold......it still needs to be confirmed......glta

Gold ends April almost 12% higher amid Iran tensions
Friday April 28, 3:11 pm ET
By Myra P. Saefong
Silver rallies 8% after launch of exchange-traded fund, up 17% on month

SAN FRANCISCO (MarketWatch) -- Gold futures rose more than $18 an ounce Friday to close at levels not seen since late 1980, up almost 12% from prices seen a month ago, after the U.N. Security Council said Iran failed to meet its deadline to halt uranium enrichment and refused to cooperate with U.N.-appointed inspectors.

At the same time, silver prices climbed over 8% as the first U.S. silver exchange-traded fund began trading.

"Iran continues to provoke conflict and the gold price is reflecting that sense of uneasiness," said Peter Spina, an analyst at GoldSeek.com. "Iran knows they have leverage here, especially with oil above $70 and the U.S. dollar becoming ever so vulnerable."

So "all indications are that the geopolitical tensions will continue to support gold at this juncture, with the breakdown in the U.S. dollar adding even more ammo to the run," he said. The greenback dropped to an 11-month low against the euro Friday, and a three-month low against Japan's yen. See Currencies.

The per-ounce price of $700 is now achievable in May, with gold likely continuing to find great support on the downside around $600, Spina said.

Gold for June delivery climbed as high as $658.20 an ounce on the New York Mercantile Exchange, a more than 25-year high. It closed up $18.20, or 2.9%, at $654.50.

The contract closed down almost $6 on Thursday after China boosted interest rates, raising the prospect of lower metals demand from the world's most populous country. But June gold still ended the week up 3% and its $67.80 an ounce above the $586.70 level it closed at on March 31.

interesting post from another forum
"Some interesting Valuation Comparisons.....

I came across a survey on the web of 60 Gold Stocks, carried out Gold Stock Analysts (dated February 2006). These companies ranged in market cap from $50 million to $26 billion (Newmont).

An assessment was carried out find the relationship of Proven and Probable Gold Reserves (P/P)to Market Cap. Based on the gold price at that time of $562/oz, it was found that the average market cap for these gold companies could be calculated by multiplying the P/P gold reserves in Oz by $213.00.

i.e A company with P/P of 5 million Oz/ Gold should have a market cap of $1.065 billion, if fairly valued by the market, based on this average $/Oz figure of $213.00.

With the increase in Gold price to $650.00 this figure is now c. $245.00. This benchmark figure can be used to assess if a company is overvalued or undervalued in relation to the average price per Oz. Basically, it gives a simple guideline as to what the current market cap should be if 'fairly' priced by the market (all else being equal)

I looked for comaparable companies in the survey, with similar P/P reserves as AURC.

Agnico Eagle (AEM-NYSE)
P/P= 7.9 m/ oz
O/S= 106.7 million
Current Price= $36.75
Market Cap = $3.92 billion
Market Cap per Oz of P/P Reserves = $496.20/Oz (suggests gold reserves are over-valued when compared to the market average)

Eldorado (EGO-ASE)
P/P = 7.09 m/oz
O/S= 301.9 million
Current Price= $5.24
Market Cap = $1.58 billion
Market Cap per Oz of P/P Reserves = $222.85/Oz (suggests gold reserves are near to fair value when compared to the market average)

Randgold (GOLD- NASD)
P/P = 6.58 m/oz
O/S = 68 million
Current Price= $ 24.24
Market Cap = $1.64 billion
Market Cap per Oz of P/P Reserves = $249.24/Oz
suggests gold reserves are near to fair value when compared to the market average)

Then carrying out the same exercise with AURC:

AURC
P/P = 7.1 m/oz
O/S = 113.4 million
Current Price= $ 0.33
Market Cap = $37.4 million
Market Cap per Oz of P/P Reserves = $5.27/Oz (No comment!!!)

Based on current Gold prices and an average of $245.00/ Oz of P/P reserves the market cap should be valued at:

Market Cap = $1.74 billion
Share Price= &15.34

(Note: The above calculation does not take account of the silver and other reserves held by AURC)

Obviously, there other factors which need to be considered as well in such a valuation such as company financials, trading history, management, exchange etc. and I haven't gone into any DD of each of the above mentioned comparative examples to see if there are other factors that may affect their valuations.....but my conclusion based on this evidence is this must be one of, if not the most, undervalued gold company out there....

I was going to buy in Friday at .30. Not a big deal. This stock is from Midland Baring. They are a venture firm that worked with NDOL. If you look at the performance of all of there stocks, you will see yet another reason to buy this. This should be up at least 100% this week. The geologist from Barrack is working with them. That's a $16b company. And remember, these results are audited.

For a gold mining company's stock (average) how does $4B translate into 107M o/s for pps?

Any news of a switch to OTCBB or something better? As long as it is a pink, I'm not very optimistic about it being valuated on par with its valuation.

SmallCap Sentinel: Will Gold Stocks Continue Run as Gold Hits 25-Year High of $664 per Ounce?
Monday May 1, 1:51 pm ET

IRVINE, Calif., May 1, 2006 (PRIMEZONE) -- ``As gold crosses twenty-five year highs this morning at $664 per ounce, speculative investors watching smallcap gold companies are left to wonder what it means to these equities entrenched in this modern gold rush,'' stated SmallCap Sentinel analyst D.R. Clark. ``Today's gold heights appear to be driven by concerns about the weakening dollar and issues in Iran. Without forecasting gold's ounce/price future, I am willing to say that it seems clear that the factors driving interest in gold today aren't clearing soon.''

``Gold's meteoric run has obviously been an unabashed boon to smaller gold-related companies like Tonogold Resources, Inc. (Other OTC:TNGL.PK - News), which is up over 50% in the past month,'' Clark added. ``As we mentioned quite some time ago in SmallCap Sentinel, once the average investor joined the dedicated gold bugs, things can get very interesting.''

The informational report ``Investing in Gold Stocks for the SmallCap Investor'' has been made available free of charge at http://www.SmallCapSentinel.com and will address the rise of interest in gold related equities such as Aurus Corporation (Other OTC:AURC.PK - News), Azco Mining Inc. (Other OTC:AZMN.PK - News), Western Goldfields, Inc. (OTC BB:WGDF.OB - News) and others. The report will also address and identify companies with operations and exploration in Alaska, a region suggested by some to be as rich as Nevada potentially.

A company profile on Tonogold is available at the following link: http://stockupticks.com/profiles/11-9-05.html

The Final Report on Tonogold's Nyac property in Alaska can be downloaded at the company's website here: http://www.tonogold.com/s/NewsReleases.asp

Think this has anything to do with the lack of a PR from NDOL?

Probably! Lots of folks in NDOL want to come over here, but tied up. Waiting for PR. The bigger the buyout, the bigger this will move! IMHO

totally agree.

Gold at an all time high today, and this POS tanks 20%.

C'mon!

AURC is looking like my first bag holder on the pennies. I guess everyone eventually gets stuck.

Sheesh.

Posted by skipdeez on :

I hear ya GN, but go back and read that PR. That was Billion with a "B"! Remember that there is also a geological report coming soon as well. I still think this is a great stock. And keep in mind that you don't lose money until you sell lower than you bought in at. And if it makes you feel better, I am in at .39. [Smile] I made a killing on Friday in the pennies, got crapped on today. Plus sitting on the sidelines while FPPL and P... ahh I can't even type it, go nutz hurts too.

Hang tough buddy, good luck!

Posted by gnulnx on :

Thanks skip. You are right of course. That is why I am still holding. Lets ride.

Posted by camellio on :

im holding this one till i'm in big profit [Smile]
even if it takes 2 years!

Posted by Baxt06 on :

This is a bargain right now. Unbelievable.

Posted by gnulnx on :

Well at least the ride won't be lonely! Here's to hoping it is a short ride as opposed to a 2 year expidition camellio.

Posted by camellio on :

i'd prefer a short ride as well but if not i'll sweat it out with this one [Smile]

Posted by Baxt06 on :

NDOL got a PR this morning. Not the one we were expecting, but a good one. Sounds like the buyout is a done deal and will be released in the next week. That is also VERY good news for AURC.

This should see upper .30's or more again by the end of the week

Posted by mdunn on :

Looking good this morning...

Posted by CRab on :

I'm in way to high at these levels, down quite a bit at the moment, lol...

Two, three weeks though and I think this one will make everyone happy...

Posted by Stockguru06 on :

i think ndol will first make us rich and that profits will flew into this stock because they will do the same stuff with aurc like they did with ndol....just watch

Posted by Baxt06 on :

Yes, I think so too. This will be huge in the next 2 months.

Posted by gnulnx on :

yeah...wish I had waited a couple of day's to jump in. I guess the only thing to do is buy more at lower levels.

Posted by Baxt06 on :

No kidding...who keeps selling? I can't believe it's at this price.

going up again? bought more at .22, B/E at .282 now pfff lol

Posted by Baxt06 on :

Good move. Looks like it bottomed at .215, up to .24 now.

Posted by Opethian on :

Think of the reasons why you got into this stock, you must hold it.When geological report comes out yo will be very happy.

Posted by gnulnx on :

mdunn. If you have to wait awhile to get your money back then you otta fo ahead and play for a profit.

Believe I have gotten my $ss handed to me on this one as well, but Mickey is right. This one will be huge.

Man this stock is breaking my heart. er my bank account!

Let's get some high gear kick in. Chirst I wish ndol would crash...

Posted by Baxt06 on :

No, you do not want NDOL to crash!! AURC will follow NDOL. Give it some time.

Posted by redmax on :

Just wait till the PR comes out. This will soar!

Great time to buy

Posted by gnulnx on :

redmax I have no choice but to wait on the PR at this point. I could sell...but that would be such a waste. I'm holding this one for 1 dollar.

Posted by bayvillian516 on :

just read this on another forum

I just got off the phone with Mr. Parkin. He is very concerned with the misperceptions created by the updated websites "unaudited" finacials and the misunderstanding of the debt/assets, etc.

He said that they are working on a clarifying PR and will release it hopefully tomorrow.

He also said that they are working on a better sytem of communication with investors which will be put in place as early as Monday of next week.

As others have reported, he is very articulate and forthright, and speaking with him just solidified my confidence in him and AURC

Posted by skipdeez on :

still holding my bag... [Smile]
Holding until at least $1, if the geo report is what it is supposed to be, could go much higher...

Posted by Stockguru06 on :

indeed, soon this will take off...what we need is a pr which says how much PROVEN reserves they have and what the potential value per share would be...a pr that we also want to move to otcbb would also be great...once we get that this will rise to dollar level

Posted by Stockguru06 on :

they want to go to otcbb for sure and i don't think it will take so much time anymore before they announce that also

Posted by Ja Rule on :

Bargain...would recommend getting in before NDOL pays off. This will see a big gain when that happens IMO.

Posted by gnulnx on :

Last night I spent some time really going over each of my positions and asking myself why I bought what I did. I am down 35% on AURC right now, but you know what? This company has so much potential. If even half of what they hinted at in the last news release is true then this is a 2-4 dollar stock IMO.

I'm doubling my position today. I may hate myself for this in the short term, but looking out over the next 6 month I truely believe we could be trading in the 1-2 dollar range. I think the lowest we will see AURC go is .15. I highly doubt is closes below .2 tho.

Well here's to swinging for a home run!

Posted by joejoe on :

Go for it...I'm in at .13 with several thousand shares...Sold some last week at .43...this one is a keeper!! I'm buying more today if it continues to fall.

Posted by djg7 on :

I bought too high so I have to hold.

Posted by Fuzzy1018 on :

i bought too high at average if .39 and i'm down big time. I would like to make some money bah for now i juss want to at least even up

Posted by gnulnx on :

Fuzzy. I bought a .36. Go take a look at a longer term chart. Say 6 months to a year. You and I made the mistake of buying on a very minor pullback when a major pullback was in progress. Do note that the amount we have pulled back is perfectly healthy for a stock that has run as much as AURC.

I think we may see at most 2 more down days and then up we go again. Believe me I am feeling the pain on this one with you.

Plus remember there is supposed to more news coming in a few days time.

Good Luck to you.

Posted by Fuzzy1018 on :

Thanks gnulnx, I know it will b a good long term play lets say for a month or two but i was not planning on holing for that long because i dont have sufficient funds to play other stocks now. I'm holding though and waiting for the report.

Posted by Baxt06 on :

This one starts it's climb next week IMO. Great buy at these levels.

hopefully PR soon

I would do the same thing if I had the cash. ACH deposits are free, but waiting 2-3 days sucks!

Hang tough fellas, big things are coming, big things...

yeah, i thought i was slick too, i bought at .34 and now were at .21. this sucks, but at least im not alone waiting for this one.

going steadily up now.. =)

Posted by Stockguru06 on :

wait untill ndol is bought out :-) management has more time to spend on this baby then and parkins told me they want to move to otcbb also and are talking with big internatial gold companies also for potential deals..patience is a virtue here

Posted by gnulnx on :

F*&^ THIS STUPID STOCK

Posted by skipdeez on :

haha! yeah, back down, I figured. But, NDOL's performance gives me confidence. AURC has a lower float that NDOL and has more potential $$$ in inventory. I see a buy out on the horizon and/or move to OTCBB for AURC.

we'll be alright in a couple of weeks gn!

hopefully... [Smile]

Posted by Stockguru06 on :

wait a untill friday when more money from ndol comes to aurc, this will go to 50 cents by end of next week after ndol

Posted by invester on :

I justpicked up an extra 300k. This one has audited results of 4 billion in gold. No brainer.

I'm with you invester. This stock is way undervalued, I'll be in tomorrow!

Posted by skipdeez on :

I agree! You da man invester!

Posted by invester on :

I am very excited about this one. This is so obviously the next NDOL. The Gold results are audited. That is huge.

Posted by ccvle on :

what geo report are we waiting for? I thought the 4billion in asset PR has already released.

The report from the geologist from Barrack gold. Barrack is a 16 billion dollar NYSE company. A geologist of this caliber would never even deal with a small time company. They are sitting on something fricken huge here. I look for this to make a stronger move than NDOL over the course

Invester, I cant buy anything until Tuesday morning. U think it will be to late to buy this then?
I guess I could just wait to EOD Monday and ask u then. lol
Im so impatient.

Posted by adamgamz on :

WHy would people pull their money from NDOL on Friday? Ndol still has a good 40% left in it before hitting the buy out offer, I wont be pulling, even if people did pull it would drop the price causing more people to buy back in.

I am impatient to. I think anything under .50 is a steal. I think it goes well past $1 after all is said and done. You have to remember, there results are audited. These are key words you look for in PR's. You can bank on this one. Also remember, analysts are calling for $1000 gold. So instead of 4b in gold, it will virtually double. Ye Ha.

Posted by ccvle on :

I still dont understand what geo report are we waiting for? Are you telling me that we have 4b in assets plus more assets on the way once the report is done?

Posted by skipdeez on :

agree 100%. I will be buying more (averaging down [Smile] ) tomorrow with my NDOL profits.

I can't believe the price is still this low with the audited results out. amazing, but good for those paying attention.

Posted by ccvle on :

but does this stock has the "PR" it takes to make a big run? NDOl didnt really started moving until the OTCBB listing PR and buyout PR cameout.

Posted by skipdeez on :

Same management as NDOL.
Also, the PR we are speaking of will announce the results of a geological report that should show exactly how much gold they are sitting on. with the price of gold as high as it is, if they have a lot, it could explode. Not to mention lower o/s and float than NDOL. I wouldn't be surprised if there is a buyout offer after the geo report is out, and possibly a move to the OTC, or both.

This is shaping up to behave just like NDOL. I say get in now and be patient. JMHO

cc, I saw that you missed NDOL, don't miss another one buddy! good luck to you!

I just took a look at the new website, very nice. I like the fact that the CEO wanted to create this for the investors. I like this stock more and more every minute.

Posted by skipdeez on :

yeah, it does look good. mr. parkins seems to work in the best interests of the stockholders. hell, i commend him for even taking half of the phone calls he did for NDOL. seemed like 20 people per board were calling him everyday.

i just can't get over how much this looks like NDOL did a few weeks ago (but better technicals here). people still seem to be sleeping on this, wake up call coming...

im a newbie so maybe i can learn something...

i looked at the 52weeke h/l and its goes $12/.01 is that bad? what is going on there?

Posted by Ja Rule on :

RyDwy...stock split, 1000 for 1 on 10/27/05. This stock is poised for some big gains. I think we see .50 or higher by the end of next week.

Posted by ccvle on :

you guys are sure the geo report alone is enough to make a $1+ run? Most people investing in pinkies want a quick hit and run, they don't have the patient to wait for revenue to kick in.

Posted by Ja Rule on :

Maybe. People want good PR's. Very few of them have revenue numbers in the penny stock era. NDOl's success is going to drive this stock though IMO.

hopefully it will stay below .50 until tuesday when my ndol proceeds settle. I missed a chance to make $15000 on NDOL today,so i'm betting on AURC for a second chance.

ohh didnt see the split on the chart..thanks

im gonna be in tomrw

Been riding this stock since January when i first bought 100k shares at 3 cents. Could have sold last week in the 40 cent range, but I know this stock is worth dollars amd won't settle for less. The way NDOL( which I started buying at.07) is working out only proves to me this is the real deal as the same figures are running both companies.I was posting on this stock here since January when it was 3 cents but a new thread was formed since then.
Just watch AURC will be over a dollar sooner than you think---of course IMHO

Posted by skipdeez on :

well you have found a gem mr money! after seeing NDOL come through today I am super-confident in this stock performing similarly. bear in mind that AURC has less than half the o/s of NDOL, and more money in potential gold. Here is some DD for ya's. good call mr money, good luck all...

I'm in with 50k....will add more after NDOL

I can;t beleive I posted on a nother board in jan that I lmost got .025 shares, but missed them because of a silly third decimal too high....ha ha! Should have had more brains back then to see what this was and gobble up everything at .03-.05
Oh well, I'm happy with the killing I made on NDOL and will be with this once it blows up....I beleive this fall will be way huge for this

Posted by Thorn on :

ACMG looks more promising that AURC, imo.

Posted by skipdeez on :

they both look great. buying more of both tomorrow. gotta love midland baring...

Posted by gnulnx on :

Technically AURC looks ready to explode.

Huge increase in volume last few days. Touched 30 MVA and closed above 20 MVA.

I have lost a fair amount of money on AURC the last couple of days...I was stupid and bought in on rumor instead of waiting for the right techs...my own fault.

It is thus very hard to hold my nerve and see this setup for what it realy is. Awsome. All the NDOL stuff aside this chart looks great. I am expecting a really good day today.

Daily close prediction: .40 - .50

Lets Rock

I would be surprised if this ends up being a buyout as well. Just speculation, but you got to admit, this is a prime target for the BIG boy Gold Companies. Looking forward to reading that Geo report.. GLTA [Cool]

If no PR, will probably dip back down. Good time to buy or increase position/

Posted by gnulnx on :

nammer it is quite possible that that EOD spike we saw is a precursor to the news. It seems that a lot of penny stocks have a way of moving just before the news if you know what I mean. If no news then you are probably right. It will probably slowly trend back down.

Man if we do get news on monday then I think we are looking at .5 pretty easily. Let's hope monday brings news.

Good luck to us all.

Posted by nammer21 on :

Totally with you gnulnx. Just reminding people the same thing happened to AURC a couple weeks ago, when PR was expected and it jumped from .2 to .4. I made the mistake of jumping in at the end of that run, so lost a bit of money on the rundown from no PR. But I am long on this and wish I had the funds to buy more at the lower levels. GL to all.

For what it's worth I think this will have a nice gradual increase throughout the week with anticipation of the great news to come.

If the Geo Report is better than expected and or there is a buyout offer thereafter, it is possible with the relatively low float. IMHO

Wierd..bid at .22 ask at .52. Why would it be like that?

Posted by skipdeez on :

I think it has to do with some of the MM's being closed after hours. I have noticed on L2's that some MM's show as closed and some show open, and those that are open show at the bid and ask, although there are other bids and asks in between, but those MM's are closed because it is after hours. In the morning it will be different. Hopefully that makes sense. Correct me if I am wrong, just my observation.

I think even without a pr the stock will go up. It had great EOD on Friday. Especially closing at its high of .375. We will see .45 easy tomorrow.

Dollars is right...After looking at some other PINK and OTC mining companies this weekend, it's my opinion we should be in the 4-5 dollar range. Comparisons to companies on the NASDAQ and NYSE are more like where we should be...Low Float, great reserves, gold going higher, we are all in for a huge ride..JMHO

It is incredible how the trend of NDOL seems to directly affect AURC.

I guess a lot of people are unimpressed with the management today because they would rather continue with their business than sell it out and give control to someone else.

This still has all the potential it had Friday, just some panicking.

Remember the AUDITED STATEMENTS!
"It is the firm RSM Top Audit that has prepared the audited financial statements under US and Russian Gaap and have been retained as the company's official SEC auditors. The highlight of the statements are its USD $4,099,579,465 in total assets, which represents its precious and non-precious metals inventory and reserves throughout their properties. The company's revenue remain low due to the current ramp-up of its operation and joint-venture discussions on its Klyon "Maple" property."

And upcoming Geological Report!

Posted by hensley1971 on :

damn, nobodys giving it up at .32

Posted by Newbie7 on :

That's because it's sitting on
1) audited statements of 4 billion of capital
2) have a great geologist Barrack Gold working with them
3) have too much potential for buyouts or co-ops with current gold prices
4) and a geological report coming right up!

Literally, "Sitting on a Gold Mine!"

NDOL's pr stated update by Friday, I think it will be news favorable to shareholders, even though I sold all my shares at 1.5. NDOL should rebound nicely and bring us with it. Geo report will push us strait threw what little resistance we are encountering at these ridiculous prices!

Has anyone found out when the geological report will be released?

Posted by Newbie7 on :

Today was a good shake due to NDOL's uncertainty in the beginning session, but later we saw a strong come back as people's confidence on the company regains as they realize a merger may work even better for the company.

Some people probably took some profits because of last week's lower prices at 20's early in the day.

Overall, this has become a healthier stock than before, since the quick rise early last month.

Many people should feel comfortable sitting on all 4-5 billion audited gold and metal. Also, having a great partner such as Barrick Gold will increase the gold retrieval process dramatically.

If you recall the CEO's sudden PR last Thursday for NDOL for it's buyout price (although it was supposed to be scheduled for this week), and how people suddenly were scambling to buy NDOL. You can be pretty sure that people have become smarter and should be holding, knowing the Geological report should be out at any time.

In another words, with short and long term incentives, it should climb back up!! (It was going to break into the .40's very early today if not for the NDOL hiccup)

If the MM is kind enough to ride along with us for a little while, we can see some serious gains!
And as I recall, this stock is great at gapping!!

Birkoff,
You can re-read page 6 of Invester's comments...
It may be able to help you make your decision.

This one is kind of like NDOL.
If you have patience in holding, you should reap good returns.
This should be one of the safer pinks out there. But if you're afraid of dips (due to daytraders moving their cashflow to make a faster buck), just look at NDOL's dips when it's in the 40's to 70's and compare it several days later after the dip.

Hope it helps.

Going to be a bumpy ride I'm afraid. Any PR NDOL releases is going to greatly effect this stock as well. You have the same management of 2 companies that have had news that some consider "too good to be true" lately. I'm not saying they're a scam, I hope they're not (I have 15k shares of AURC), but there is going to be a knee jerk reaction to everything that happens with NDOL here as well. Just something to watch. Keep your eye out for the NDOL PR.

Last time, NDOL's news was out a week earlier than anticipated....

Anyways, with the recent surge in gold...
I can't help but repost Weatherbill's post of the gold stocks comparison:

SHARE PRICE = &15.34

(Note: The above calculation does not take account of the silver and other reserves held by AURC)

Obviously, there other factors which need to be considered as well in such a valuation such as company financials, trading history, management, exchange etc. and I haven't gone into any DD of each of the above mentioned comparative examples to see if there are other factors that may affect their valuations.....but my conclusion based on this evidence is this must be one of, if not THE MOST, UNDERVALUED GOLD COMPANY out there....

Sorry for being long winded... but I tend to be forgetful too...

There's some significant differences between those companies (I've made a fair bit on larger-cap mining stocks over the years, and know the business pretty well) and Aurus that make a huge difference in valuation...

For one, those mines produce, Aurus does not. And despite being in their vision statement, I haven't seen anything in regards to actually produce on the properties they have (admittedly, I haven't looked very hard). And even if they were to start today, it'd be 18-24+ months before the first ounce of gold was ready.

Aurus has a lot of gold. But it's not easy or cheap to get to. The reason Aurus can grab up these reserves so easily now is because the cost of gold is just passing the point where it's economically feasible to retrieve the gold on these holdings (and I question whether that's even true). No other companies wanted the sites; and for largely good reasons.

While vast, none of Aurus' properties appear to be very rich. Aurus' gold ranges from 0.05 to 0.3g/ton in on site to ~3.5g/ton on another. Successful mining companies will have FAR richer gold veins -- in the neighborhood of 6-10g/ton on average, and often even much higher. Aurus' veins are a tiny fraction of that. That means to get 1oz of gold, Aurus has to process more than 100 tons of ore; while many other successful mines would have to process only 6 tons of ore or even less.

Retrieval costs are huge in mining. They're the only figure that matters. Reserve figures mean nothing. That's why Agnico-Eagle's price seems "over-inflated" -- they get gold out of the ground for a quarter of what others do, which means massive profits. And Aurus' retrieval costs simply can't be good with the relative weakness of their gold veins.

In short, Aurus might have a lot more gold than some others, but they've got to spend a lot more to get it out of the ground than others do. And if gold ever corrects significantly their invested capital will be worthless because it will cost more to retrieve an oz of gold than it sells for.

All that said, I still own some Aurus. Will probably buy a little more. But I don't expect it to be valued anywhere near the above-mentioned companies.

Wow, that was awfully wordy for a post. Particularly my first one. Long-time lurker. Just wanted to post a slightly different POV.

Posted by hawkdriver on :

Good post Sigma, I gave you a couple stars. I value you POV. But something worth mentioning is the gold correction. It seems gold for the longet time always corrected around the June July and August timeframe. That didn't really happen last year with everyone, many companies corrected but several did not, due to alot of factors. Normally the corrections start showing up in may, and I don't see that this year. One thing that seems to keep gold high is the U.S interest rate, which the fed is meeting on, and will most defanitly raise AGAIN. This will just give gold another boost. The U.S. is printing so much money right now, and getting into such a huge debt with the Chinese that gold is not to likely to correct much this year IMO. Which brings up the next point, if this pressure is maitained, less valuable fields will become much more valuable. It's kind of like the tar sands, not many were interested in them 15 years ago, but now you can't say tar sands together with another word without increasing it's value. Example (Sigma Tar Sands) if this was your name, you would make 10X more money on every trade.

Any predictions for today?

The reason gold prices are so high is because it is a good hedge against inflation. The rising interest rates are used to dampen inflationary pressures. Raising interest rates is not necessarily going to increase the value of gold. It will more likely do the opposite in the long run.

And sigma is right. It's very expensive to get to a finished product. I still however, think that whatever happens to NDOL will effect this more than any amount of gold they have (short term at least). If the NDOL deal falls through, AURC loses a lot of credibility, and we will see a hit to our PPS.

I disagree, it is the Inv. Bank Midland Baring that brought both. They are not tied in any way. You would be a fool to sell this long term.

They have the same phone number! Glen Parkins is the president of AURC and the VP of NDOL. Makarov is the president of NDOL and the VP of AURC. No connection???

I'm not saying sell, but I'm saying people are skeptical, and their will be a knee jerk reaction to any NDOL news (good or bad).

Is everyone forgetting the real reason commodities are rising???? It's called Globalization, and the Big 4: Brazil, Russia, India, and China are a huge reason all commodities are soaring upward. I believe we still have a ways to go before we see any type of correction in these prices and I don't believe they will correct as much as some believe. It's called supply and demand, and the world is growing faster than ever before....just my POV, but this trend is far from over. GL

I agree Bax, NDOL and AURC have that connection and the outcome of NDOL will have effects on AURC's pps, short term.

I guess NDOL got their news this morning. Merging with North-West. Seems like decent news, although I think many were hoping for the buyout.

True, but he brought the price per share from .06-1.50. They know what they are doing. This stock goes higher longer term.

it's better for NDOL investors long-term, they will probably leave the pink shortly and that will also help their pps. AURC will do just fine now that the NDOL news is out. GL

(Not sure of the validity, but sounded pretty good..) Do your own DD, of course.

""Today was my first time to ever attempt to call the company. Mr. Parkin actually answered the phone. Must be his cell phone. I did not bring up the subject of a buyout. He did. It was not my intention of asking him about any such possible buyout. After we got through talking about the transaction of the two properties mentioned in this morning's PR, he simply said, "with these new properties (referring to Klyon and today's PR'd properties), Aurus is ripe for a big company to offer to buy it out."
I invite anyone at any time to verify any conversation's I've had with either this company or any other company for that matter""

Greetings John,
We are very credible in the industry and the only suspicious things being said are in the chat rooms. The only participants that create a bad attitude are those that wish to profit from it. They buy low and then sell off as soon as it rises.
The finale to this adventure shall be proof enough. The necessary filing will DEFINITELY be made.

I hope you guys are planning on saying or doing something to address the issue of credibility. Right now there are many many people declaring that both AURC and NDOL are total scams. This doesn't sit well with us current investors. How about an SEC filing backing up what you are saying ?
Thank you kindly."

Posted by Birkoff on :

I don't think they have a credibility problem at all.

What matters is what's going to be in the Geo report. It seems like we may need to wait a little longer.

They made the "Early May" claim in March I believe. Obviously a lot might have changed since then so I wouldn't hold my breath for it.

Posted by Newbie7 on :

Yeah, I thank Sigma for his insights.

But just wondering, why would you still be interested in holding this stock? And your even want to buy some more???

I'm not a gold mining expert..., but correct me if I'm wrong, I know that usually a seller of a product would not disclose any negative info about the product they're selling.
It would be strange for AURC to post their vein info. along with their total assets if someone's not interested.
Also, did they also mention on the website that gold production is cheaper there than in some of other places such as South Africa?
I wonder why their would have a top audit firm and a famous geologist working with them if there's not some great potential there..
Just some thoughts...

Posted by Sigma on :

I think there's potential. And I think it's undervalued. I just don't think it's $15 undervalued. I couldn't even wager a guess on what it should be. It's less than $15, but it's certainly more than $0.40 as well.

I'm also speculating on a good geological report. If there's a 10g/ton vein in there somewhere, this stock will skyrocket.

As for the "negative info" on their site -- it's not all negative. It's just that Gold isn't the positive, but it's what people focus on since the amounts of Gold are significant, even if it's spread too thin to do a whole lot of good. And it's probably why AURC doesn't do well even when Gold goes up.

Perhaps it's strongest assets are in fact Silver and Zinc. It's silver veins are pretty rich -- in the neighborhood of 20g/ton.

You are correct. I've been working on getting a bank deal to go through, not as much time in front of the computer. Still love the stock. PGPM is as good to me with the most recent PR though. They have now shown dedication to the share holder. I also talked to Monet at PGPM today, and he said with 100% assurance they would not dilute. I see PGPM/WWEN/AURC over $1 in a very short time frame. [Smile]

Reversal...

Climbing back to 0.34

Posted by Newbie7 on :

Fuzzy,
A reverse split is when a corporation reduces the number of outstanding shares. The total market value of the shares remains the same after the reverse split, however, a share is worth more. A company, for example, executes a 1 for 2 split. An investor owning 1000 shares will deliver them to the issuer and they will receive half as many new shares--but the shares will have double the value of the original shares.
I cannot answer the second question without more details.

"that all shares issued for the merger to the shareholders of the North-West Oil Group will be restricted from selling" AFAIK that means that current north-west oil groups shareholder's shares will be restricted, not our ndol shares.

Sorry, I don't want to turn this into another NDOL thread...

but

-------------
i think NDOL should issue a PR that says "READ MY LIPS! YOUR SHARES WILL NOT BE RESTRICTED!!!"

Its crazy how the restricted issue was put to rest a while ago but people keep overreacting and searching for a way for them to be restricted.

Its very simple. North West shareholders will have restricted shares. NDOL shareholders (you) will NOT. Why is this good? Well, cause you can sell, North West shareholders can't. If they can't sell, then there will be less profit taking that drives it down after the merger.

Hello Sigma,
Are these numbers good?? They look like high concentrations of gold to me!!

Klyon Deposit

The length of vein #1 measures 1,700 m, this is a steeply dipping vein (84-90º to 70º). Flank vein stretches as a single body, diverging in the central part. In the deeper parts the structure becomes simpler, with the cumulative thickness of the body and the volume of quartz going up.

The vein’s width varies beginning with 1.0-0.9 m , with the cumulative width of all apophyses reaching 16.1 m. The maximum thickness of the ore body (with account of host rock interlayers) is as big as 26.6 m. The gold content varies from 0.0 to 163.1 gram / ton, silver – from 0.0 to 1,067.9 gram/ ton.

Vein #1 has been accessed by means of 29 trenches, every 30-120 m. Examined by means of mine openings at a length of 1,700 m. Down-dip, the vein has been crossed by 21 core holes, with 10 drilling profiles every 100 to 200 m, and examined up to the + 160 m horizon.

Vein #2 (examined by mine openings and prospecting traverses along strike up to 1,250 m and down-dip up to the +275 m horizon by 10 holes with 6 drilling profiles (every 100 to 200 in the central part of the vein). Slope angle – 53-60º. Represented by one or two contiguous bodies.
The vein width varies from 0.4 to 5.9 m. Content varies from 0.0 to 380.5 gram/ton of gold and from 0.0 to 211.9 gram/ton of silver.

Primary quality requirements in calculating reserves of the С2 category:

Minimal minable content of gold equivalent in the estimated block – 18 gram/ton;
Minimal minable content of gold equivalent in the margin working – 11.4 gram/ton.

I'm not trying to interject here, but the whole basis of investing is doing your own DD so that you are confident in your decision. There is nothing wrong with getting ones opinion, but if you are basing your buys and sales upon others recommendations, you probably are in the wrong stocks. No offence to you Bill, but to take a breather from a stock of this magnitude is absurd. There is no question that it will fluctuate up and down, as all stocks do, but to find a stock like this at these levels is a gift. I suppose that is what makes a market though. Again, I generally don't like to interject in other peoples conversations, but I am typically right when it comes to stocks. If your horizon are a month or longer, you should stick around. Again Bill, I think you are one of the other people on the board that actually knows what they are talking about when it comes to equities. I've been in the industry a long time, and I can tell. I've rambled long enough, it's Corona time fellas. I will see you all Monday. [Smile]

This was posted on another board. I'm not sure of the authenticity though...

A friend of mine spoke with Gerald Rankin today FWIW
Spent a short time on the phone then email.here's the EM.

Greeting Marianne,My sister name is Marian and she sure is not a southern girl ! Our company Monimpex International was instrumental in bringing these 2 companies public. They asked us to be on the Board because of our expertise in the North America stock markets. That is the only relationship beside the fact that we have great influence to westernize the operations. Nevertheless, they are true experts in their own fields. Russians are excellent miners whether in gold or oil. Nord Oil following the merger all SEC reports should be filed on Monday that is why we are working on Saturday. Later this week we shall publish the consolidated financial statements. The public will realize the size and strength of North West and the reason why this merger was done. Newws will be issued on a regular basis. There is an independant report on the Company at http://www.more-ir.de/d/10156.pdf. This was done because it is listed on the Frankfurt Exchange. AURUS this company, as you can see on its website www.auruscorp.com has great assets in its various deposits. Every expert agrees that the price of the stock is way undervalued. In the financials it is indicated that the assets are over 4 billion$ but that the liabilities are the same. This large debt scared some people but under Russin legislation the liability is entered as such because the deposits have not undergone extensive work. This liability is not a debt in the classical sense no money is owed to third parties

Seeing half of today's PR news was exactly what I posted on this board last week already... (Vein #1 and #2 info...)
I think we'll be sitting in the 20's for a while.
The "No long term debt" is good news though.

It's time to put NDOL on my watch list again, since all the hype of buyout should be over for the moment.

Posted by redmax on :

Sitting in the 20's? This stock has been trading in the 30's for the last few trading days, good news won't make it go down especially with ndol ready to bust open. This should trade in the mid 30's until Ndol releases their pr and then head to the upper 30's as long as ndols news is good.

I found this on the 3rd page of post topics so I figured I'd bring us back to the front:) Still holding with an average pps of .31. I'm not at all worried about AURC once NDOL gets off our back! With news like the last pr and the Geo report still to come, we will be sitting pretty in the coming weeks. Again, the only thing holding us back is our big oil brother NDOL!

Posted by joejoe on :

I'm holding at .13....already took my investment back 2 weeks ago at .43.

Posted by RichBy26 on :

looks like we finally broke away from NDOL...word is NDOL should release all the filings for the merger tomorrow. If the finacials are as big as some are speculating, we will tag along for the ride to the upside for a change!!

Posted by skipdeez on :

if it hits .40 tomorrow, I will drink a 40 oz of olde E in AURC's honor...hell, i might have one even if it doesn't!

that's just gross skip! I'll stick with kettle one and a splash of tonic. I too plan on having a few tomorrow:)

it is gross...but there is nothing like the feeling of rotting teeth as it glides into your mouth; then the dancing in the street like a bum that inevitably insues after finishing the last drop. wow, I just got excited, I may even play edward 40 hands if my portfolio gets back in the green tomorrow!

Go AURC!

disaster or time to load up more??

Posted by Birkoff on :

It will go up with the next PR. Not sure how much.

They said they will release it soon.

The volume is still very low.

I picked up some at 0.28

Posted by lostone on :

holy crap! WTF!

Posted by RichBy26 on :

It's all because of NDOL, look at the last pr AURC released. It was awsome for a stock at this price, yet it fell that day. It's because people are judging this stock on NDOL's pending merger, because they are run by the same management team. Looks like NDOL is holding out the pr until Monday, but once they release it and investors realize they have their stuff together NDOL and AURC will take off. The Geo report is still to come but no one is talking about a time frame... JMO

geez... bleeding like crazY! so much for early may report.. they got 9 days left..

Posted by iamfine on :

i donot blame AURC performance for NDOL. all are because the company didnot do a good job there. they post PR exposing that much reserve. then things stayed there like forever. until production, like mine extraction, to get revenue, and later net profit, will be nothing but a dream. certainly for pink stock like this, i like its potential. but, i hate its bleeding performance, dragging the market down. come on.

Posted by Matrix Trader on :

man we better get some PR this week or I am going bankrupt [Frown]

Posted by lostone on :

good thing today is that volume was low.. so most ppl are holding.. i mean, it only takes one transaction to bring the price down.. so with low volumes like this, i wouldn't worry too much about the price now..

Posted by iamfine on :

i wanted this one green very bad. it has stayed there for a while. no excited news. last PR just very vague, not doing a thing to the PPS. instead, it has been slowly sliding down. the company need serious work in the future. only acquire another reserve and post news are not good enough. it needs production

Ndol will have great news today. Once this happens it will legitimize AURC's $7 billion in gold. With a market cap of $27 million this stock is grossly undervalued. Gold is also going back to it's bull run.

Great stock IMO

Posted by Newbie7 on :

I got out in the low .30s for small loss.
It was getting too shaky as it's linked to NDOL.
Although it has potential, but I'll have to see when it settles down, and I'll consider jumping back in.
In the mean time, I was trying to find a stock that I won't have to worry about every morning, and found NAUG, making .05 per share last quarter with excellent news that came out yesterday.
It's still quite low profile on the hot GPS market at the moment.
I posted on Hot Stocks for Free, so you can take a look.

Yah, I had to bail as well a few days ago at .29 That hurt A LOT, as I bought in at .39 Now, that was buying in too HIGH! NDOL treated me right though !!!

I'll be getting back in once the NDOL thing settles down. I foresee this being bought out, merged or partnered in the future as well, possibly even by Barrick Gold. Re-read the April 10th PR. IMHO DYODD

after going through all thier properties and adding up all their reserves, and multiplying by current market value of all the metals i have calculated thier current assets to be a whopping $6,839,147,853!

in the financial report on thier website they valued their assets at $4,091,696,317 however since then they have aquired Klyon (maple) deposit and my numbers also take into acount the 925,562 ounces of gold in the Prospector Taiga reserve and the Prospector Siberia reserve which they have signed the letter of intent for.

$6,839,147,853! that would work out to a Mkt value of $66.39 PPS!

now obviously in a perfect world there aren't any operating costs, equipment costs, extraction costs or taxes. but yes .22 for a company with almost 7 billion in assets is absurd!

also going back to that e-mail i recieved from parkin about the financing project for the equipment, i don't know exactly what site it is they are planning on purchasing the equipment for but it could be in reference to this statement made in a dec 22nd 2005 pr :

"The company is currently in advanced discussions with several funds and strategic investors to finance the production increase, whereby Aurus Corporation expects to produce 12 tons or 384,000 ounces of gold annually or today's equivalent to over $250 million USD annually as well as produce many other precious metals."

or this statement made in a PR dated december 15th 2005:

"Zabaikalgeoprom is truly the find of the century, it has been under the radar of multinationals for many years. They have mined a considerable amount of gold and other metals over these past few years and by investing in its infrastructure, our experts have determined that can increase production and reach sales of over $800 million USD rapidly," said Gerald Parkin, President of Aurus Corporation.

Gold rises as Iran oil warning creates safe-haven bid
Marketwatch - June 05, 2006 7:44 AM EDT
NEW YORK (MarketWatch) - Gold futures rose early Monday after Iran warned that U.S. actions could lead it to halt shipments of oil, sending crude prices sharply higher and creating a safe-haven bid for gold.

Gold for August delivery was last up $9.20, or 1.4%, at $650.20 an ounce in electronic trade. On Friday, the contract gained $7.50 as the dollar fell sharply following a weaker-than-expected May jobs report.

"If you make a wrong move regarding Iran, definitely the energy flow in this region will be seriously endangered," Iran's supreme leader, Ayatollah Ali Khamenei, warned on state television over the weekend, the BBC reported.

The warning came just days after the permanent members of the United Nations Security Council and Germany reached agreement on a package of incentives to offer Iran in an attempt to persuade it to halt its nuclear research.

Tehran maintains it's aiming to create a civilian energy program, while western powers fear it is trying to create nuclear weapons.

The incentive package is part of a broader effort to solve the dispute diplomatically, but Khamenei's words suggest Iran has not ruled out some sort of U.S.-backed military action against it.

Meanwhile, Citigroup upgraded its gold-price forecasts, predicting that the metal will rally back through its recent peak above $730 an ounce as inflation fears persist.

"Following the current period of volatility and instability we expect investors to refocus on the previous concerns of continuing high oil prices leading to higher inflation, which would ultimately lead to higher interest rates and a subsequent slowing down of the U.S. economy resulting in a weaker US dollar," said Jonathan Battershill, an analyst at Citigroup in Sydney. "All of these factors would result in stronger gold prices."

The dollar was last trading down 0.1% against the yen and down 0.3% against the euro.

Citigroup is now expecting average gold prices of $700 an ounce in 2007 followed by $750 in 2008.

Elsewhere in the metals sector, silver was up 22.5 cents at $12.31 an ounce. Platinum rose $17.10 to $1,262 an ounce, palladium rose 95 cents to $354.10 an ounce and copper added 1.4 cents to $3.60 a pound.

On the supply side, gold inventories were lower by 195 troy ounces to 7.79 million troy ounces as of late Friday, according to New York Mercantile Exchange data.

Silver supplies fell by 226,850 troy ounces to 108.2 million, and copper supplies were down by 386 short tons to 9,092 short tons.
