WOW ! ....Billy's not kidding .....the stock is really shooting up .
No doubt do mainly to the posible bird flu under consideration by china .
The 52 week low is .08 cents & the 52 week hi was .87 cents which it broke yesterday .
It could be that this is an exciting upward trend for SSTK ....On the other hand it might be being over bought by the speculating news .
If thats the case then gain will be captured by traders and price could fall back suddenly .
You might think about watching it closing for a gain by about wednesday and sell for the profit . It closed at 1.39 so it is still moving up ....watch for any fast sell off .

The RSI now is 70. Right before it dropped it was around 90. A couple days ago when the RSI was 90 it dropped also. Luckily I got out yesterday seeing that the RSI was about to 90 and what happened to it last time it got that high.

What the Company Really Does
Smart-Tek Solutions Inc. purports to be a provider of security services and systems in the Vancouver area. Its website shows many lovely photos of the glass-enclosed high-rises that grace the Vancouver skyline, where it claims to be “a major provider of goods and services in the security technology” sector.
Yet, its most recently filed quarterly report shows gross revenues of just $756,811. Its balance sheet tells the tale of a company with many problems. The company currently has only $800k in assets and $1.66 million in liabilities including a Bank Overdraft of $136,136. Needless to say they have a going concern from their auditor.
Now all of a sudden, one brilliant day last November, the company hatched the idea of going into the avian flu business. Not just the regular old ho-hum avian flu business, mind you, but the avian flu business in China !
Never before have we heard of this business from the company. Neither did they spend ONE DOLLAR on research and development. Now a company with a $136,000 bank overdraft is going to put an RFID tag on every chicken in China.
This should come as no surprise -- before the company was called Smart-Tek, it was called Royce Biomedical, Inc. (OTCBB:RYBO) who used spam to promote selling drug diagnostic kits in China (needless to say nothing came of that claim either.) http://www.aegis.com/news/Lt/1996/LT961003.html
This is where it gets interesting
On November 14, the company signs a deal with SES Investments of China to distribute this “mystery technology”. The deals calls for a revenue split between the two companies.
He seemed to have been the “point man” for that deal as his name was on the bottom of the press releases. MTC Electronics was sued by investors as well as the SEC. Guess what MTC got in trouble for???
A PUMP AND DUMP WHERE THE COMPANY LIED ABOUT DEALS WITH CHINA. THE FOLLOWING PARAGRAPH IS DIRECTLY FROM THE SEC.
Between 1990 and 1993, MTC claimed that it had developed a new telecommunications business in the People's Republic of China ("PRC") including agreements that made it the exclusive supplier of fax machines to the PRC, and joint venture projects to provide telecommunications services in various cities in the PRC. For each of its fiscal years 1991 through 1993, MTC falsely claimed that it had received millions of dollars in revenues from the fax machine sales, accounting for from 31 to 46 percent of its total revenues. In fact, MTC sold no fax machines in the PRC, and Miko deceived MTC's independent accountants by providing them with false documentation to support the fictitious sales. In 1991, at Miko's direction, MTC similarly began misrepresenting that it had concluded joint venture agreements that would make it the "exclusive" supplier of cellular telephone service to Shanghai and other major cities in the PRC.
NASD Warns the Public about “Bird Flu Containment Story”
The National Association of Securites Dealers knew that bird flu story would be an easy mark for stock promoters … so much so that they took the extraordinary step of issuing the attached warning:
Amazingly, in its warning, the NASD singles out, but doesn’t name, a certain company:
One example includes a fax stating a company "has the solution for tracking and containing the Bird Flu virus."
Smart-Tek has issued no less than 7 separate “bird flu containment” PR’s within the last two weeks, each and every one touting its “containment solution”. Nearly all of them have the identical language cut and pasted from one to the next, substituting locales like “China”, “Singapore”, “Vietnam” and “Hong Kong” to essentially the sane verbiage.
We could catalog how all the Vancouver-based directors involved in this scheme have been associated with other previous penny stock deals, or we could detail the numerous mammoth obstacles standing between this fantasy of a “business idea” and any actual business, but does it really matter? In this case, it is the opinion of ********** that the epidemic of stock promotion has nested itself in the drama of the bird flu virus story.

Penny stocks move up on positive news (BS) and momentum. This one had the air removed from it and might be a while before it recovers. Or not...hard to say. I'd wait and be sure it is going to move back up again.

$4.00 is outrageous...just because you lost a lot of money today on paim doesnt mean you should come to other threads and start pumping those stocks...people who are considering to get into this one need to really due some DD and understand what all is going on with this stock...seeing a $4.00 call is sort of unnessary...
I have not owned this stock and will not in the future...I just saw that thread and wanted to address the subject...

The pull back was EXTREME with no recovery! I didnt hear anything about the ********** stockelon article until STTK posted it...That wasnt such a bright Idea in my eyes. ...Ive always said this stock runs hard and falls hard. I would like to see a nice SLOW! recovery tomorrow..ENOUGH with the .80 increase so the DT cant eat this thing up alive. JMO

I feel pretty confident that the downturn in the price is unfounded and will turn around in the next few days. The press release confirms it.

Lots of people believe in this company now-or at least we think it is going way up again-what does it matter to me lol as long as it goes up.Anyway I did not sell on the runup but I am not regretting it too much.I really think this company has the chance to explode.They have a very unique niche in the bird flu market not to mention many other services in different fields.The pullback was inevitable but it was not as bad as it could of been.The run up on Friday shows us that this stock has a very strong base at .68 and is headed back up.I think this bad boy can easily be another GNBT and break 5.00 within 3 weeks,in addition I think it will stay there and can even go much much higher assuming they get lots of government contracts.They are working on many contracts right now and they have a big presentation coming up in Philly in a couple weeks.This is going to be huge-mark it

I think it will have some nice news coming out soon with the foreign contracts like this article on the 6'th. "Smart-tek Solutions, Inc. Yeah I am down on it but reinforcing my shares. Especially with all of the good news. There were some major sell offs making this price really appealing. Looks like it is recovering now a little. I think it is a really good buy now, but I also thought so at the mid 80's. The next good news should send this stock up a lot.

Okay folks. If you want the truth about this company you need to listen. I talked with the assitant to the president of STTK and here are the questions I asked and his answers. The number I called was in Californa it was the "T" number on their website. Now this is not the exact wording of the conversation I didn’t have a tape recorder.

4) Q: What is the share count and what is the insider holdings? A: The shares authorized is 73 million and the insiders hold 48 million “restricted shares”. The float is around 25 million.
He also stated that a PR will be released later today that states their will be a conference call for all interested shareholders sometime next week. No details of the conference call or the exact time but this is the information I got. IMO this company will turn around.
I am holding my shares and potentially adding more. Hope this helps everyone.

Yeah I have been holding and adding to shares for last couple of weeks. I am glad that someone took the initiative to find out what was going on. I was almost tempted to give them a call myself. It has some good news and hopefully they will anounce the deal with China soon

There was no delay, you saw what happened to the stock. This however is probably profit taking from those who rode it back up, and are fearful it wont see $1.76+ again for awhile. It was a steady climb up to those levels from a quarter a month previous, it wasn't an overnight thing and you aren't going to hit $2 overnight this time either IMO.

Well, Did i call it, I said my sell point "assuming" I bought at 0.5 was 0.6. Got back to my posts.
I said, it would be a 15 to 20% bounce and I was right on. Give it or take 0.01 difference. And today right at open it hit that mark. I could of made 20%, but my limit of 0.50 didn't fill the other day.
Now I await what happens tomorrow to get into another bounce play of 10 to 20%.

yeah the merits look very appealing. From what I have seen they have a few points I that would like to see addressed in the conference call.
The contract with Pomaria, Laguna, La Colomba and Skyline projects from April 12'th, but most of it is detailed in their recent press releases. All of these are very positive statments!!!
The contracts with government agencies such as China On April 5, 2006, the Registrant issued a press release announcing that it has received an initial $5,000,000 order for its RTAC-PM system from China. How much do they hope to gain from the contract?

I made money selling this stock right before its huge drop due to that webpage crap. Today i bought some shares again at 0.48, after watching it drop more and more. It was just too low to resist. Up more than 46% for me just today. I'm holding onto this one much longer too. I have a feeling when we get some more good PRs its finally going to rocket to the moon for real.

I got in today at .50 and I don't think it will be at those levels again for some time and we could see a dollar as early as tomorrow afternoon with anticipation of the conf. call. I'm planning on holding this for the next few weeks at least. I've read articles stating the bird flu will be in Alaska within 3 weeks due to bird migration patterns. When that's announced....sit back and watch the bottle rocket.

The H5N1 avian flu strain has already infected 205 people and killed 113 since 2003. Its spread has forced several countries to ban poultry imports from nations where the disease has spread.
The H5N1 virus has spread from Asia to Europe, the Middle East and Africa.
Kuperus said preliminary tests from the National Veterinary Services laboratory were negative for type N1 of the virus. More tests are pending at laboratories of the U.S. Agriculture Department in Ames, Iowa, to confirm the strain of the virus, he added.
"The market owner voluntarily depopulated his existing flock, and the market has undergone cleaning and disinfecting under New Jersey Department of Agriculture supervision," said Kuperus.
The market in Camden County will be inspected again by New Jersey's Division of Animal Health before being allowed to reopen.
