I agree...I was in the middle of holding for my broker to complain but got fed up...10 free trades not enough this time!...For a guy who only started trading in January of this year, I can recall five tech issues since then....not good for business...I am switching...what's Ameritrades pricing like?

good thing i sold sttk yesturday for a 13 cent gain * .69 i was real pissed this am of course, but once scottrade went down ands ttk crashed i feel much better!

Yeah, this thing sux a big fatty. I wrote an email to them complaining about their crap site. Nothing will come out of it, but it makes me feel a little better to complain to them. It would make me feel even better, though, if this site would friggin work!!

Just talked to my agent and he said that if 4 min the whole system is going down for TWO hours, sorry. If you want to do some trading just call in. Holy crap they are gonna have some irate Friday traders now.

They have one more chance with me. Scottrade is the only one I ever see with complaints. Ameritrade here I come! Scottrade said they will do any trades over the phone. I shouldn't have to call you if your system would work properly.

Seriously, I think that Scottrade is growing to much so they need to get their up together, I don't work for them but I've been a customer for a like 4 years and I've never seen this problems before, any company has its problem I just talk to one of their techs and I was told that they are aware of the issue and I'll working around the clock to fix it. According to them too many people are getting back to trading which is over-heatting their systems.
that's how I would see it from my Treo, and it can be done from a computer, too.

I have the Verizon Treo, it uses Internet Explorer for Windows Mobile. But you can access that website (http://mobile.scottrade.com) from any computer browser as well, it helps when the main site is down, a least I did it yesterday and today while the site was having issues.

Just an FYI... I emailed Scottrade about the probs and asked for some compensation (free trades). They issued me 3 free trades.
Might be worth a shot for anyone else that had probs.
