EGPI Firecreek's Ten Mile Draw Project Producing Better Than Expected Results; (Production Results Close to 40% Higher Than Anticipated)

Business Wire via COMTEX

Mar 21, 2006 8:00:12 AM

SCOTTSDALE, Ariz., Mar 21, 2006 (BUSINESS WIRE) --

EGPI Firecreek, Inc.(OTCBB:EFCR) announced today that gas well 1-16 in the company's Ten Mile Draw, Wyoming Coal Bed Methane project is on-line and producing at a greater rate than previously anticipated.

Firecreek's President, John R. "Rick" Taylor stated, "This is exciting news for our company. Our best Initial Production (IP) estimate for well 1-16 after re-work was 250 MCF/D. Newport Oil Corporation, our Field Operating Partner, has notified us that the IP is flowing in at 340 to 360 MCF/D, a rate that is almost 40% higher than anticipated. Because of this, we have tremendous confidence in our second well 7-16 because we have strong reasons to believe that this well has the potential to produce even more than 1-16."

Newport Oil Corporation's President, John Bruynell explained, "Even though we are producing more gas than previously anticipated, we expect to produce even greater amounts of natural gas as more adjusting is done on well 1-16. We are still getting fracturing fluid out of the well and fine tuning the compressor. It seems as though the expensive and time intensive re-work that we decided to implement was worthwhile and may have gotten us back into native reservoir gas." He also stated, "Well 7-16 has been prepped and is ready to go as soon as our specialized compressor is received. Because of our most recent success with the first well we have taken aggressive steps to bring the second well on line as expeditiously as possible. We expect well 7-16 to do as well if not better than 1-16."

Dennis Alexander, EGPI Firecreek's Chairman stated, "The preliminary success of our Ten Mile Draw Project is a true testament to our commitment to bring a consistent revenue stream into our company. We are very optimistic that this is the beginning implementation of a successful Definitive Action Plan that was developed by our Executive Committee several months ago. This most certainly has not come easily; we have had to deal with unusually bad weather and transportation pipeline equipment failure causing untimely delays. EFCR no longer anticipates any further delays at Ten Mile Draw and expects to have full production from 1-16 and 7-16 within the next two weeks."

EGPI Firecreek is working with Newport Oil Corporation on a multiple well drilling program at the Ten Mile Draw. Both companies are aggressively identifying future potential drilling sites. All of the sites are located in Coal Bed Methane zones that have been successfully producing gas for years.

watchin L2's all yesterday afternoon and today realizing that everytime UBSS jumps on the ask, the buying stops.. and so far this monring hes just sitting on the ask all morning killing any movement up.

Looks like we're starting to come back from the morning shake.

Wish I had L2's.

UBSS still controlling this???

Posted by Balttrader on :

Very stagnant around .029

Posted by juice on :

UBSS has stepped off... seen some consistant buys at these levels since he moved. Looking pretty good even though we're in the red for the day. UBSS is up at .03. if we can get to .03 and higher today id say were good for next week. This stock will be on my radar for a few months it can explode at anytime!

volume 2x from market open, but still low

we need some serious PR to get significant buys, that will send us into the green zone!

Any PR will send this into double digit % gains.
I'm projecting 5/6 cents next week/following week.

with oil prices rising and low o/s and float, this can run to 25 cents like it did before..

"like it did before", 8 months ago , correct?

I agree this stock has close to that potential=above 10+ cents in the comming weeks= 4 to 8 weeks, especially with just one PR break.
Look at the 10 day chart, last 3 day volume.
I hold to my 1 to 2 week projection as double digit % gain= trading at 5-7 cents.

Reasonable to you?

Paulbest-
How long have you been in this?

Are you going to stick around? LOL

I think your prediction of 5+ cents next week is very possible, especially with oil on the minds of everyone. $75/barrell today. OUCH!!!

I think 10 cents in the next few weeks is very possible too, and 20 cents in the next couple/few months isn't out of reach either. Just look at the chart.

A nice PR could push this above those predictions, and at a faster rate.

This is an old PR, but one thing I always have liked is honesty. Ever have a car salesman tell you the car you're buying is the best there is out there, only to find out he/she drives a different brand? Doesn't exactly give you a warm fuzzy.

Put your money where your mouth is!!!

I got into this one today *.0292. Chart looking very strong. Looks very similar to what happened last year around this time when it ran to .20. Broke through both the 20 & 50 DMA yesterday and closed above them today. 200 DMA is just above .06. I can see this reaching the 200 DMA next week. From the 10KSB on 4-14-2006 I see the O/S is 256,900,350 anyone whose been here longer know where the Float is? Last estimate I saw was 104M.

you think its still worth getting into at .29? or am i too late?

To late? Were talking about huge gains comming into the summer months. Look at previous yrs and you will see how the this oil play peaks around august. With oil at $75 per barrel, this baby is gonna scream. Volume was already up on friday, I think this will have a nice rally this week. Then a keeper into summer!

Posted by DQ. on :

I'm hanging in thru summer.

Posted by E-Z on :

I bought in last week. If it takes a good dip I'll probably buy more and hold on til at least the beginning of August. By looking at the chart, it's obvious this is a summer stock, and being an oil stock it may pop earlier than usual.

close at .03, vol 13.3M not bad....would have liked higher but at least shes green haha. still a definite hold IMO.

Posted by tmanfromtexas on :

I agree juice, If you look at the 1 year chart this baby seems to be doing it all over again. But this time the low was not as low as the one last year and the 20 dma is about to cross the 50. If it gets past that resistance the 200 day is .06. Nice double from here and early in the season. What a nice place to be in the spring time. lol. TMAN...

whoohoo...lets have a good week here!

A little green is good. I'll take it!

Still counting on .05 at least by weeks end. I think this is starting to get noticed.

Record volume, its only a matter of time . . .

Posted by E-Z on :

Looks like we're up 10% so far today.

Need more volume.

Posted by juice on :

well doesn't look like we'll be moving today. even if we had vol UBSS sitting at .0345 so I don't think we are going any higher then that anyway for now. Every time he jumps on the bid some sales go through so it looks as though hes collecting some shares. Just gonna have to wait this one out, still looks very promising. I got enough shares looking to exit above .044

Posted by E-Z on :

This stock trades crazy!!! It goes up and down so many times through the day EVERY day.

I think I should just stop watching it and then check it again in the begining of August. LOL

Posted by E-Z on :

Well, we ended the day even. Better than red.

Take note of something though, today the 20 day MA finally crossed the 50. Look at the chart and look at what happened the last time this happened. Our run could be in the very near future IMO.

Posted by cactus33 on :

seems like a lot of potential here. undervalued at .03
if a great pr comes out this thing takes off.

Posted by juice on :

yeah been holdin these levels nicely. volume has dried up for now. id say a good amount are in this and were all holding cause we know the potential. best of luck guys

Posted by bion on :

Very low volume today

Posted by cactus33 on :

seems like low volume on a lot of stocks i own today

Posted by E-Z on :

Wow!! What happened??? Looks like the volume came, but not the way we wanted. Down to .0259

If it goes much lower I think I may have to buy more to make up for this. Besides, I still have faith in the summer run, and more shares equals more money over the long haul.

A good PR would be helpful right now.

Has anyone seen anything negative about this company within the past year??? Be honest.

Posted by tmanfromtexas on :

I think they need to pr a little about what success they had in Wyoming if any and some good guidance. That would help some. TMAN...

Posted by cactus33 on :

agreed, tman.. hopefully we'll se a pr very soon. they need to take advantage of this oil shortage.

I'm out. Sold 50K this morning. .028 I believe.
Loss of 350 on a 1600 investment last week. Coal Bed methane stocks have been a big loser for us in the past 2 yrs, I should have laerned my lesson.
Still losing in these pennies and I'm afraid I'm out on most of these pennies. Most , as I'm am holding onto one penny. GCOG.
Wish you guys luck, as I know you all took a hit today.
Paul

Posted by wallymac on :

Paul sometimes it takes a little patience. I can't speak for anyone else but I haven't lost anything yet. I still have my shares and intend to wait this one out. I still think this will fly. Today, IMO was people selling that thought it would run up big before today and when they saw the low volume they bailed. Me I thin I'll stick around for a while. I smell something cooking and it smells good.

Paul, you gotta stop getting in on stuff after news and after a big run, thats when the profits are being taken and stocks dip. You gotta get in at a good, low price in anticapation of news, or if it seems like good bottom

Posted by E-Z on :

You don't lose money unless you sell!!! LOL

This stock doesn't have much to lose and everything to gain. It's already near the bottom.

I know what you mean though Paul. I've only been doing this a couple/few months. One of the first stocks I bought was RSHN at .0013. The day I bought it it went down to .0007 That sucked!!! I hung around though, and wow was it a good thing I did!!! Paid off very nicely!

Posted by tmanfromtexas on :

I am no chart master but from looking at the 1 year chart it appears that the macd is crossing, the rsi is just above 50 and the 20/50 moving average is crossing. All up. To me that is all good, but if I am off base then hopefully someone can enlighten me, I am listening. Thanks, TMAN...

Posted by juice on :

Buy them cheap. Everyones getting scared off and I hear that, its hard when your in the red, especially when we don't know whats going on. I'm buying more in the lower .02's thats definetly a good buy point for efcr. Problem is this stock will surprise the heck out of you. It may go below .02 and then next day double very quickly, especially with a little news.

E-Z's right, make sure you get in on bottoms not when theres a buzz and its moving. If you do get in high, average low only if u are sure it will come back, otherwise drop it, make ur money somewhere else. I felt this was a little high to get in on when i did, just because the day before it was a cent lower. But I took a chance because I've seen this go crazy. Now I have to average down b/c I believe this will be .03+ again... and if it gets to .05 by then well, even better:) best of luck everyone!

Agree I arrived at this site AFTER most of the stocks highlighted here had already made their bull run. I went in on a few and lost money. I am now "safely" in higher priced stovks. Atlas mining. Petrosearch, Roca, stuff like that. The only penny i am holding onto is GCOG.ob
Gulf Coast Oil and Gas. Won't get rich/won't go broke either in these higher priced safer stocks.
I know I can double+ my money here in the next month or 2.on news. Sells for .05/119M shares out. More shares than I like in a company, but I can overlook this once.
Good luck with EFCR.

Paul

theres been a couple of filings lately.. looks like this company is starved for money.. just got a promissory note. and converted a bunch of shares to someone at .025.

another pink drowning in debt i guess. not sure if this comp is bs or not?

It looks like cd's to me but I am no SEC lawyer. Arent yall glad. lol. I think these arent exercisable for 3 years. But their share count has went from 53mm to 108mm+. It still has room to run and the chart is looking like its ready to do just that. TMAN...

I'm not really familiar with all these micro cap oil companies, but EFCR has a smaller market cap compared to other otc stocks with more shares o/s and similar fundamentals. AMEP has over 400 million shares and has managed to run.

EFCR market cap around $5 million. Going into summer with oil / natural gas prices soaring (as well as all the other commodities), micro cap commodity stocks will take off, especially oil/natural gas related ones. And this Iran thing isn't helping at all.

I remember being in MSEV many years ago and the talk was the same. It was .02 then - it's over .14 now

Roire, I am ready for it to move. Have a great weekend. TMAN...

Oil is King:

 -

As you can see, oil is in a much higher place than it was last summer. So EFCR may have some more shares than it did last summer when it spiked into the .20's, but the value of any stock in the oil or nat gas fields are just worth that much more due to the rise in oil prices.

EFCR puts out a NDOL like PR about production schedules or revenue projections, and EFCR will take off.

Dang fine point Roire. Thats why I like reading your posts. TMAN...

Posted by roiresearch on :

Tman, likewise.

I'm sure the argument here may be toxic financing. But with a chart like the one above, the oil and nat gas otc stocks are all going to take off like the late 90's. Not sure how many of you are from that time period of trading otc/otcbb stocks, but many went from .01 to $1

Go where the money is. Go where the trend is. Commodities, especially Oil and Gold/Silver/all precious metals. The pinkies and bb stocks associated in those industries are bound to take off. EFCR being one of them. [/QB][/QUOTE]

Added to Naked Short list on April 28, 2006

This is pretty substantial.

"EGPI Firecreek, Inc. (OTCBB: EFCR) through its subsidiary, Firecreek, engages in the exploration, development, and exploitation of crude oil and natural gas. It focuses on the development of proved certain oil and gas projects located in Russia and Romania. The company, through its other subsidiary, International Yacht Sales Group, Ltd., engages in commercial and private leisure marine vessel sales brokerage, and charter business over the Internet. International Yacht Sales Group also develops e-commerce software, Secure Yacht Sales Server Software. EGPI Firecreek is headquartered in Scottsdale, Arizona. With 204.59 million shares outstanding and an undisclosed short position, there is a failure to deliver in shares of EFCR."

Not sure, hopefully will result in buying pressure.

"...there is a failure to deliver in shares of EFCR."

No mention of the size of the short position.

roire, thanks for bringing that out. I have seen that in other stocks and didnt know that meant they were on the short list. I guess I should have (duh) I believe that the pinksheets are going to start publishing that list sometime in early July. That will hopefully (fingers crossed) give a little bit more info to us investors. TMAN...

EFCR is a reporting company on the otcbb

It is a security already participating in Reg SHO

I guess you are referring to non-reporting pinks. Hopefully it will help out.

SCOTTSDALE, Ariz.--(BUSINESS WIRE)--May 1, 2006--EGPI/Firecreek, Inc. (OTCBB:EFCR - News) President and CEO, John R. Mr. Taylor stated, "The approval of this expansion program shows the significance and commitment our company has in locating, negotiating and funding projects that will continue to bring continued revenue stream, assets and valuation into the company." He also added, "We are now beginning to see the positive improvements made with the implementation and reorganization of our corporate infrastructure. I hope we see a lot more green on this one today.

bot about 450k on Friday and 50k today to bring me up to 500k

For a measly 50k shares, they would not fill me. They dropped the ask below my limit for over an hour and still would not fill me. This stock is now on Reg SHO - failure to deliver

I expect sharp PPS moves in EFCR real soon, similar to EDEX

I will chart the PPS vs. the Stochs later to point out a very obvious trend in accumulation taking place. It is semi-apparent on my last chart posted over the weekend

Good Luck

Big 735k trade * .0278 right after the bell

I know the mm's filled me after the bell on Friday for 200k

Hopefully that was the seller * UBSS - looking to open a bit higher tomorrow

Yeah, EFCR is finally getting noticed. Had some nice volume today and ended green. I'll take that. Step by step. I don't want this to run. Just give me a nice profit by mid summer and I'll be happy.

Posted by roiresearch on :

Nice recovery

Like I said, find yourself some otc or otcbb oil and gas stocks and it will be a fun ride like it was back in the late 90's

PGPM - holy sheeeeeet man!
EDEX - going up with every trade

It's only time before EFCR starts going up - Hey, what's stopping the company from issuing a PGPM-like PR - all of these micro cap stocks should do that. Oil is King

Posted by roiresearch on :

Higher volume than normal today

I think we may be getting news - that shake this morning was very odd....very!

If the mm's move out of the way at .028, I think we'll have a shot at going above .03 today (and closing there too)

Posted by tmanfromtexas on :

I dont think it is done by looking at the chart. You always have profit takers, cant blame them for that. If you look at the previous years charts this company has a history of rising in April/May through August/Sept and then fading off. This year shouldnt be much different except they have more shares out then previous years so the high may not reach .20, it may only reach .10/.15. They may find the lost gold of eldorado and go to 20.00 lol. So if it continues a slow trend thats allright with me. TMAN...

sold a chunk today at .032.... didn't like how NITE sat there all morning and sold shares and didnt budge. Saw the same thing last week with UBSS, i just don't like how that looks. I still have a position at .027 left. I still believe this can be a big play. But again, there are more shares out there then the previous 2 summers...who knows, its oil:) glta

Posted by Dustoff101 on :

Obvious stock manipulation...

Been awhile sence I've seen it done so openly by Nite yesterday..That buying into the ask at.032 for most of the day was extrodinary.....It wouldn't budge up, even with those huge buys going thru.

A] Hedge Fund shinanigans?
B] NSS
C] Dilution?

Nite has been busted before for this kind of trading..Fine was around $75,000,000.00

Weak hands?, probably a few...But whats going on can't be explained by the normal trader jargon. [Wishful thinking ]

Posted by Dustoff101 on :

I have decided to make a stand on this one...
Not the norm for me on these OTCBB'S..

Not advising others to do the same. I think we have the beginings of a growing bubble in the energy pennys, and like 2000-2001 I plan on making the best of it.

Within the last 48 hrs I have concluded the best course of action for me is to accumulate and hold.

Compare your positions to the runners that just kept going. For me? why not this one, all kinds of luck needed, but, the 6 month chart shows we don't have to re-climb a hill, where it already ran. Just my 2-bits.

Posted by Dustoff101 on :

Also, Congress is taking a very hard look at stock Manipulation, yes, even down here where we trade.

In the weeks and months ahead we will see some real action taking place against these Hedge Funds,,,Real action, not the norm.

Posted by E-Z on :

I'm in for the long haul. I still think this will be an easy tripple, but I'm hoping for more. If it goes lower than what it is, I don't see it going much lower. It's had higher lows and higher highs for the past month.

I have to admit that I wish I was in NDOL instead, but it's a little late for that. LOL

Posted by Dustoff101 on :

BTW, that spike on 02/23/06 which shows as a 52 week high [.24 ] was a one time fat finger wonder that stuck..Not a run.

Atleast, thats how I see it.

He also advised me to Contact both U.S Senators in my home State....

Before I could exclaim "sounds like Lip service" to me, he said his advice was not just lip service and wished the best of luck...He did also mention that Congress is trying to tackle the problem right now.

See-Ya!!

Haven't weighed in, yet...

Me? I'm gonna file a complaint with the SEC/NASD. In the blank where they ask you which "broker/dealer," I'm gonna say NITE--not *my* trading broker. I bailed on that play even though all TA indicated a breakout once it closed above 33-34. Why? I watched that "wall" at 32-33 absorb an insane amount of buys on Ask without *one* uptick...

It's one thing when a pretty chart gets no hits...to watch Ask after Ask get pounded with no response? c'mon

Insights, better info appreciated--fire away.

Posted by E-Z on :

Reading all the responses here. Who thinks BKMP falls into the same category right now. I'm sure there are others, but man, did you guys see the volume of that this week? It's been higher the past couple/few weeks without that kind of volume.

It's one thing when a pretty chart gets no hits...to watch Ask after Ask get pounded with no response? c'mon

Insights, better info appreciated--fire away.

yup, I bailed on the play...but not on the follow-through. Gotta work the system. File complaints, letters to reps, etc etc... I don't think Congress or SEC has any idea yet how many "common folk" want a clean market...

Damn Cat wanted out, so now I'm up, sitting here thinking, with a good cup of Coffee.

OK, for the time being I am going to put this into a perceptive that is easy to understand...I have been asked " Dusty, but what can we do about it ".

We got ripped off...How? By the pick pocket," NITE "

Example 1: You are walking to your Car and a thief runs up and sticks a 45 in your face, Pistol whips ya, and steals your Wallet.. There is no witness or Video survielance and it's dark.

What do you think the chances are of getting your Wallet back?

Example 2: Your standing in line at the Bank and a pick pocket steals your Wallet. The Bank has all the latest High Teck security...

What do think your chances are of atleast catching the pick pocket?

Well, quess what, the pick pocket NITE is on tape stealing our money!!!

The following may shed some light on whats going on with this stock..I have a substaintial position, so I know my words may cost me when I sell on Monday..

I believe we have been the victum again of two forces...

A well timed pump job, and a conspiricy to dump shares by a Hedge Fund thru NITE trading...

The failure to deliver on the NSS is in the SEC report if understand it correctly.

Also, I am just the average Joe, but I ain't stupid.

I am afraid we are in a situation where Big name Banks like Citi Bank, Brokerage houses like Morgan Stanly, Hedge Fund Managers, and Market Makers are all conspiring together to STEAL MONEY from us, the average American..

The more thought I give to this situation, the more I realize how Pivitol the Hedge Funds involement is, in this International theft.

The more I dig, the more I find out the extent to which these Hedge funds hide from transparacy..There is a reason they fly under the radar of average Americans, they are the illegal playground of the rich!!

So your dumping?

You don't think it will recover?

Posted by Dustoff101 on :

Well, personaly I am so disgusted with the situation I am willing to take a loss just to be rid of it..

Funny part as you well know the damn thing could recover and run a bit on news...LOL

As you also know, the trading of the stock the day Nite manipulated it [05/03]was just plain over the top, in the fact it was so obvious..

Who knows, maybe they will manipulate it back up because they got wind of the fact so many traders are on to them...LOL

Myself, I do not want anything to do with, what looks like to me a fixed game, more so than usual.

BTW, Hedge Fund Managers and Market Makers do have people that monitor these boards.

I'm not selling yet. I think it will recover. It's just a matter of "when". I am losing on this, but I've learned that patience can pay off.

I'm not going to be selling either.

Wasn't really expecting this this morning. [Roll Eyes]

Ok this comment is not going to gain much favor, but can someone point me to exactly what happened to make everyone scream manipulation? I know it happens, but I just don't see what everyone else is seing on this one.

Not trying to bash. Trying to understand, becuase from my angle EFCR looks like a screaming buy?
