Dalrada Financial Reports Second Quarter Results 2/22/2006
- $17.8 Million Revenues; $3.3 Million Net Profit -
SAN DIEGO, Feb 22, 2006 /PRNewswire-FirstCall via COMTEX/ -- Dalrada Financial Corporation (OTC Bulletin Board: DRDF) today announced its financial results for the second quarter ended December 31, 2005. The Company reported revenues of $17.8 million for the quarter, a 263 percent increase over the prior year period. Net income for the second quarter was $3.3 million.
For the six-month period ended December 31, 2005, Dalrada reported revenues of $29.9 million compared to $9.4 million in the prior year period. Net income for the six month period was $3.1 million.
"We are especially pleased with these results as they are indicative of the direction we set for the Company two years ago," said Brian Bonar, CEO. "Our balance sheet continues to improve and our business prospects are positive moving forward," he added.
Dalrada provides employer business solutions to small and medium-size businesses. Its customers outsource many administrative tasks associated with human resources management to Dalrada. Services include payroll processing, workers' compensation insurance, employee benefits (including 401k and health insurance plans), and business risk management (including general and professional liability insurance), and staffing services.
Dalrada provides these services through its subsidiary companies and operating groups, which include: SourceOne Group, Heritage Staffing, The Solvis Group, M&M Nursing, MedicalHR, and CallCenterHR. Its Solvis subsidiary also operates ImageTech, Inc., whose proprietary products include ColorBlind(R) software and PhotoMotion(TM), a patented color medium of multi-image transparencies.

100 mio in two hours, no wonder that there's no steady direction.
Would you all agree that if it runs strong today, this will continue the next days? I mean, if these revenue and income will be continuous, a market capitalization of 50 Mio would be no magic, and so a PPS of .05 would be no magic either.

Okay, I took the last hour to check all facts I could get. Particularly rechecked all their financials.
If I'm not totally drunken (And I never drink), this thing is massively undervalued IMO.
Just check out http://finance.yahoo.com/q/is?s=DRDF.OB Their revenues grew from 5 millions, two quarters back, to 12, and their news from yesterday stated that they rised again, to 17.8 million, and also that they did 3 million net income in the last quarter.
They have liabilities of "only" 33 millions, which is nothing compared to their latest revenues, especially because they massively raised their revenues without doing more dept. The opposite is the case: http://biz.yahoo.com/prnews/060105/lath030.html?.v=42 " announced today that it has settled more than $5 million of debt, which will be reflected in its quarterly report for the period ended December 31, 2005."

The one thing I am learning about this game is to ride through the nervous "sinking" ship feeling...there is always tomorrow...
Just look at ARME...with news out of a 42 million contract...it is still sinking today...staying in though and will make a bundle off it IMO
a loss in stock equity for a day or week even is better than accepting a "realized" loss in my book and being out the dinero!

Ok, quick question.
With the profits they have reported, then why would they need to sell stock?
Not criticizing you just throwing this out there.
I'm as baffled as anyone else.
If their not selling stock, then it has to be the MM's were caught with their pants down and needed shares bad. I mean there for a while 5000 block trades were moving the stock up pretty quick and down just the same.

I sure wouldn't be surprised to see that happen. Revenues were very nice in the last report, this should be much higher. Something very strange happened today. My personal opinion is this will head back up tomorrow. Keep a watch, we shall see.

ITEM 1.01. Entry into Material Definitive Agreement
On February 13, 2006, Dalrada Financial Corporation issued convertible notes to various investors in exchange for Gross proceeds of $5,000,000, with $4,384,800 of net proceeds going to the Company. $1,757,902 of the net proceeds were used directly to pay debt settlements.
The convertible notes mature in two years, at a 15% per annum interest rate and call for monthly interest payments with the principal due on maturity. If Dalrada defaults on the interest payments, the investors will have the right to convert the notes into common shares at a seventy-five percent (75%) discount to market price. In addition, warrants for 1,352,000,000 shares of common stock with an exercise price of $.005 were issued to the investors as part of the funding. These warrants expire in seven years and have a cashless exercise provision.
Concurrent with the funding, certain Dalrada investors holding convertible notes exchanged such notes plus any related accrued interest and penalties, for new notes with the same terms as referenced above. These notes are valued at $2,545,093.

THE 8K IS GOOD..they are rapaying the debt and with a strong rev and profit all debt will be paid off in 1 year..the issue of warrants is only a backup..going up from here

I have it through E-trade. The only problem with etrade is they dont show L2s for all pennies. Alphatrade offers L2's for all pennies though.

DRDF ended the day ok. I still believe the MMs are keeping this down. Seems to be in a accum. phase. IMO, I look for it to retrace back to the .007s-.008s very soon. It can move quickly with the right buying pressure. DD this one, it's definately one to watch closely!

I honestly am not sure what to make of this one at this time. I think it may hover around this price range for a few more days, then head back up. This stock is being held down for a reason, just not quite sure why. For now, I'm just going to continue to watch. Just radar closely for now though, once it starts moving, it usually moves fast. Just IMHO!

Been in for sometime...500k buy at .005 in the last 5 minutes, hopefully someone knows something.
For the six-month period ended December 31, 2005, Dalrada reported revenues of $29.9 million compared to $9.4 million in the prior year period. Net income for the six month period was $3.1 million.
Hard to believe of all the suckass stocks out in pennyland that this one with those revs and profits doesn't get the attention it deserves...but in due time.
