NewMarket Technology Inc. Releases Update on Progress to Date Toward 2006 Plan For $58 Million In Profitable Revenue And Outlines Potential for 60% Upward Revision in Revenue Forecast; Update Includes Q106 Anticipated Benchmark Events
2/7/2006

DALLAS, Feb 07, 2006 (BUSINESS WIRE) --
NewMarket Technology Inc. (OTCBB:NMKT) today released an update on progress to date toward its business plan in 2006. The Company has forecasted 15% annual revenue growth in 2006 to a profitable $57.5 million over last year's profitable $50 million (unaudited). Recently the Company released specific business plans for each of its six operating business units. The $83.5 million sum of the fully consolidated business unit revenue goals for 2006 represents more than a 60% increase over NewMarket's 2005 revenue. The business unit goals are based on corporate developments not yet consummated. At the close of each fiscal quarter the annual forecast will be reviewed and updated as required.

Business Unit Revenue Goal--------------------------------------------------Latin America $25,000,000China $28,000,000Systems Integration $12,500,000VoIP $15,000,000Healthcare $ 3,000,000--------------------------------------------------Upward Revision Potential $83,500,000
In addition, the unconsolidated Homeland Security revenue forecast for 2006 is estimated at $10 million and is reported in NewMarket's affiliate company, Defense Technology Systems (OTC:DFTS).

Business Unit goals include the previously announced planned acquisition of UniOne in Sao Paulo, Brazil, with approximately $11 million in profitable annual sales. This acquisition constitutes a substantial portion of the Latin American $25 million 2006 revenue goal. The acquisition is expected to close in the very near future. Both the buyers and sellers are enthusiastic and working diligently to complete the transaction. The completion of this transaction is a likely candidate event that would trigger an upward revision of NewMarket's overall 2006 forecast after the close of Q1 '06 and the filing of the quarterly report.

"NewMarket has grown substantially from $2.3 million in revenue in 2003 to over $50 million in 2005," said Philip Verges, CEO of NewMarket Technology Inc. "We anticipate continued rapid growth in both revenue and income. Our new approach in 2006 is to communicate a balance between potential and prudence to provide shareholders with a reasonable forecast, while at the same time providing detailed information behind the Company's plan to exceed that forecast. We know our key to achieving continued growth lies in the successful expansion of our management team and the reinforcement of our operational processes and procedures. We have already announced the addition of Mr. Rauch as our CFO and shareholders can expect additional management and director announcements to be shortly forthcoming. Nearly halfway through the first quarter of the year, I am optimistic we will exceed the 15% growth forecast for 2006 over 2005."

NewMarket combines a traditional technology services offering with an emerging technology incubation business function. The result has been three years of rapid, profitable growth from $2.3 million in revenue in 2003 to over $50 million in 2005 (unaudited). NewMarket was named in 2005 as the 13th fastest growing technology firm in North America on the Deloitte Technology Fast 500.

Am I mad, is this a dream, or don't I understand this correctly?!

Does this mean DFTS makes profits of the same amount as the share price?!!!! [Eek!] [Eek!] [Eek!] [Big Grin] [Big Grin] [Big Grin]

Hell, how is this possible? Shouldn't this be at around $0.40 now?

NMKT

Posted by Black0r on :

Yes, DFTS is just an affiliate of NMKT, but NMKT is already valued a P/E of 26.64.

DFTS's P/E is only 1.06!

Wouldn't it make more sense to buy into DFTS?

The P/E of 26 means that NMKT needs 26 years to payoff at the current rate of profits.

If the data from yahoo is correct, DFTS needs only one year to do so, so it seems to be totally undervalued.

Knows someone more about DFTS?

Posted by matto on :

i DO AGREE AND DFTS IS THE ONE TO BUY IN MY OPINION.

I'm in *0.035 [Big Grin]

Same here, IN! [Big Grin]

I just couldn't find a flaw here. And I tried hard to find! [Big Grin]

Okay, the news on their site are outdated: http://www.defensetechnologysystems.com/press.html

But the news on yahoo seems to do very well: http://finance.yahoo.com/q?s=DFTS.PK

And did you notice the low volume? It's almost not there. [Wink] With some few nice news this will fly, or what're your opinions?

Posted by Black0r on :

Well, maybe we should tell them to do some updating on their site. At least do some investor information and publish latest press releases.

I would give them a call, but as I'm not a native speaker of the english language, I'm sure here's someone more suitable for this job. [Big Grin]

not enough volume and the BxA is too spread out

Posted by 85yrs till retirement on :

Oh, and our new baby is up 9% from open with a volume of less than 95k shares.

Posted by Black0r on :

85yrs till retirement: How may I help you? [Smile]
This one at least didn't already pop.

Green Demon: Yes, volume is very low, but I think that's the interesting part. If no one wants to sell, this should pop really fast as soon as volume will come in.

Posted by The Green Demon on :

true...but can you get out...I got in at 3.5-3.6 and now I am in for $800 but the rest of my money is just sitting there at 3.6 waiting for a fill. It seems that at each price point there are about 20,000-40,000 shares

Posted by Black0r on :

Sure I can get out. At the moment at .036, you would buy them! [Big Grin]

Okay, to be serious: If volume comes in, I don't think it would be a problem to come out. Okay, depends on the amount you're in. If you're in with 1 Mio shares, well then it could get somewhat harder. [Wink]

Are there other groups thinking about this one? I mean, is it getting noticed on other boards, too?
Because the only problem of this thing is the volume.

And if you watch this http://stockcharts.com/gallery/?DFTS, you'll notice that there was some useful volume until beginning of 2005. It also seems like all invested are still sticking with this one.

Posted by The Green Demon on :

Hey I want it to go up as well I just got a little nervous when I had to change from 3.5 to 3.6 and still I was not filled on only 70k shares.

The other one that I bought today was dbmi...next resistance is at .17 and the charts look great IMO.
I am going to start a new topic on it right now

Posted by Black0r on :

Hmm, a stock you can't buy isn't the best stock, right. But there're 37Mio out there. [Confused]

Matto, what to do now? We're lost in space. lol

.038 moving up

Yes! Thank you!

I made some decent $ last week on USXP but then turned around and tried to duplicate riding the wave on the stocks I mentioned earlier. Thing is however, I got in as the wave was coming down:-( I just got lucky with USXP...

Nice to be on the ground floor for a change.

Again, thanks for the tip there, matto!!!!!! We will see how this plays out.

Posted by Black0r on :

If they're smart they will right bring some news concerning the relationship with NewMarket Technology Inc., especialy their estimated revenue of $10 Mio. and how they will achieve them. This would really bring this on fire. [Big Grin]

In addition, the unconsolidated Homeland Security revenue forecast for 2006 is estimated at $10 million and is reported in NewMarket's affiliate company, Defense Technology Systems (OTC:DFTS - News).

Posted by Black0r on :

Okay, http://biz.yahoo.com/bw/060203/20060203005309.html?.v=1 gives a little insight into this, but I think DFTS itself should show some more initiative now. I'll send them a mail tomorrow, lets see what they've to say.

Posted by The Green Demon on :

Here is the great thing...This stock is getting hit but hasn't even been mentioned on any other boards in months. Could be bigger than we even think

Posted by Black0r on :

Yeah, this would also explain the low P/E of just above one, and also why there's not much volume:
Because the invested know it's undervalued, and the others don't know about it. [Big Grin]

Or would this be too great to be true? Well, we'll see. [Smile]

Posted by Black0r on :

BTW: Have you guys seen THIS: http://finance.yahoo.com/q/rr?s=DFTS.PK?! [Eek!] [Eek!]

Okay, reports themself don't mean anything, but no report for years, and then two reports just in one week... They wouldn't do reports, if they think no one's interested in this stock. lol

Whoopee...

Look at the news here: http://today.reuters.com/stocks/CompanyNews.aspx?view=PR&symbol=DFTS.PK

There're very interesting ones, that are not on their outdated page and also not on yahoo.

Especialy:
Thu Jul 14, 2005 10:48 AM ET - Defense Technology Systems, Inc. Announces Expansion to $1 Million of Agreement to Supply and Support Tactical Computer System for Military Operations; All Contract Revenue to be Realized in Calendar Year 2005
http://today.reuters.com/stocks/QuoteCompanyNewsArticle.aspx?view=PR&symbol=DFTS.PK&storyID=180457+14-Jul-2005+BW

and

Overall I would say that they're doing a lot of stuff in the background and their outdated site doesn't reflect any of these activities. They really have to bring up some new website, showing their current development status. As said yesterday, I'll mail them now! [Big Grin]

Posted by matto on :

I also mailed them yesterday!

Posted by 85yrs till retirement on :

I was wondering why we are the only ones talking about this... I know the volume will go up, but I have a theory as to why it has not jumped yet: It's that stupid USXP stock!!! They are still so busy playing that bouncy ball they are missing this ICBM perched right under their noses!!!

Come on people... return from the dark side :-)

Posted by The Green Demon on :

I call up 50% from what I bought it at yesterday and rising taking off

Posted by The Green Demon on :

I mean 40% and did you see that increase in Vol right now. It looks like we will break the high for the year ( in a year rather) on a up day

Good call once again. Unfortunatley not all of my orders got filled so I am not making out as well as I hoped.

Posted by The Green Demon on :

happened to me yesterday...I just bought at the new ask. Of course the spread wasn't so big

Posted by matto on :

WELL THE WAY I LOOK AT IT IS WE TAKE SMALL 30% EACH DAY FOR A WEEK OR SO THEN A STRONG PR COMES OUT WHEN ITS AT .10 AND THE PF IS JUST ABOUT THIS COMPANY! THEN EVERYONE GOES CRAZY RAISING IT TO .35 OR HIGHER AND RIDE THE WAVE!!!!!
SOUND GOOD!!!!!!!!!! [Big Grin]

Posted by The Green Demon on :

that would be nice

Hey, I got my mail answered!

I have forwarded on to DFTS and they have said they are updating the site as we speak. There will be a new website address also when it goes live.

Thank you,

Rick Lutz
LC Group

I'm sure this WILL make some great momentum as soon their new site goes online because this will be the "dot on the i" of their complete repositioning: New company orientation, new CEO and new site incl. new address.

This makes this babe very interesting now.

NMKT has a conference call meeting tomorrow, they own DFTS so maybe there is an insider rumor about the dividend the company said they have in the works for DFTS. See NMKT thread for info about the conference call.
