I did the math on 175m barrels divided that by 5 for 20% and thats 35m barrels x $65. per barrel = $2,275,000,000
add 1.8b cubic meter of gas to that at god only knows what value and you have one hell of an asset base here!

louie we have already broken through resistance the next level of resistance is .01 cents and then .02 if i am reading the charts correctly.keep in mind those that hopped in at .005 many will be taking profits at .01 for a nice 100% gain.i personally have been in this for alot longer so i wont be dumping any shares until over .02 cents or close to that .

I've seen it too many times - just when you think it's safe to go back in the water the MM's dredge the lake...
That's just where the (First) shakeout was - then the second was at .0084 - at closing arca had it down to .007
similar pattern already emerged with this stock this a.m. at about 10:15 or so.
Plus, there are a LOT of "bagholders" (go to silicon investor) who are really pissed off about the 2 "slimeballs" running this company - as they put it.
On the up side, this is the news they've been waiting for for almost 6 months, so I imagine some may want to either hold or bail.
I don't know. Human nature always takes over. Then Greed.

take a look at where BTSI is based on 15 million barrels in proven reserves and 33 million in probable reserves.
Here with TWOG we have 20% or 35m barrels of proven reserves out of 175m barrels, plus the gas reserves.
BTSI is .026 and ran to .057 on there above news.
TWOG hasn't even started to run yet!

I am a little, um, nervous -
First - Why haven't they named the company? {Transworld Oil and Gas Ltd. Announces Acquisition of Twenty Percent Net Interest in "Private Oil Producer"}?
Second, these guys are notorious for saying "Press Release imminent" & then investors wait and wait for the PR - while the pps drops.
Third, why did the "Letter Of Intent" say 49 percent interest and now there's only a 20 percent interest (and in a private company yet to be named for some reason?)
Last, this stock is trading very strangely today - the manipulation is so obvious - goes to .0085 with a huge bid/ask spread, then drops to .0079 with an ask of .0085
It's going down. Gut instinct and a little experience tells me to wait until the hype is gone and then see where the dust settles.
Perhaps a good entry point for this is .0058
Bummer - I thought it might show some moxie by now but - Oh, and as I type this the spread is decreasing which says "Come on in - it's safe - BUY - So we can dump your shares at .007"

I have been a "lurker" for a long time now. I have MS - having a good week here - usually I can't type well at all anymore, but sometimes I am somewhat able to type and even just get ON the PC.
I have read many of your posts, especially the ones about buying penny stocks and your methods of buying/selling - and not getting too greedy.
You have definitely made a positive impression on me, and, I believe, many other members here.
I just decided to stop lurking and finally register at allstocks - I am not a basher; I just have an uneasy feeling about this stock and today's movement.
TWOG investors have been waiting a long time for this PR - and others on the sidelines have been waiting. So why is the volume so low, the trading so sluggish, and the pps so stagnant all day?
This should have been the news for everyone to just jump in. But they're not jumping.
Whenever the PPS gets to .0085 (driven up, that is) it is taken right back down to .0078 for quick profits.
This is the fourth time today.
I am a person who lives in constant pain - almost ten years now - I watch everything very carefully, and I move with even greater care.
I just have some mild suspicions - hey maybe I'm just paranoid.
I wanted to get into this but something keeps holding me back.
It is now about 2:30 p.m. - on a Friday, and TWOG is either in a coma - or it is a sleeping giant.
Guess we will all find out.

hey guys I screwed up on some info here earlier. I posted the O/S A/S as
the source for the info was Knobias, but I was in fact on the wrong symbol when I copied the info the above O/S A/S is that of PTSC which I have set in favorites and comes up when i bring up the Knobias site for info!
Here is the info that Knobias shows for TWOG
Authorized Shares: 80,000,000 Source: Other ( 07/08/2004 )

It is not current at all and i would not trust figures this old, so we really don't have any current info on the O/S A/S I will Email the VP and ask what the numbers are!
I just did a count of shares traded since 7/8/04 and the total traded is about 430m so the O/S it would seem is less than 500m and probably lower than 400m at this point taking into concideration both buys and sells.

No explorer but I'm going to work on one today! I find it veryinteresting that 2 companies got a percentage of the same oil field within a day of each other. Its even more interesting that they used almost the exact same PR to report it! There is a definate conection between TWOG and BDWH! Are they both owned by Transworld or is BDWH a company that we will take over in the next week to get control of the 20% that was reported and we just haven't been told that part yet. Lots of questions! Google only has some of the answers!

Due to large unexploited reserves, oil companies consider Arkhangelsk Region a very promising place for development of new projects. Russian and international oil companies are pursuing opportunities in the development of the Timan-Pechora oil field—the most active being Lukoil, Rosshelf, Conoco Statoil, Norsk Hydro and Tatneft. Since oil companies will be targeting international markets, transportation of oil from new deposits to the consumer will be an important issue. Pipeline capacity is limited and railroad is not the best option because oil cannot be transported during the winter months without heating due to low temperatures. The capacity of railroad network is not sufficient and rail transportation is not cost effective in times of low oil prices. Oil companies will have to either build an oil terminal and a new pipeline, or find alternative methods of bringing oil to the market. There are huge gas reserves in the region and on the sea shelf. Stockman gas field is among Gasprom’s best prospects for future growth. Besides gas exploration and extraction, the gas pipeline through Vologda Region to Arkhangelsk is currently under construction. A methanol plant for processing of gas is also being built near Arkhangelsk.
16. U.S. oil company, Conoco, was the first foreign firm to invest in the region’s oil sector ten years ago. Polar Lights’ (Conoco’s JV with Arkhangelskgeoldobycha) investment in oil extraction in the Nenets Autonomous District exceeded $400 million. Today, Polar Lights is producing about 1.7 million tons (14 million barrels) of oil per year, which is transported through the Russian pipeline system and sold both abroad and domestically. The venture is also developing three satellite fields, previously discovered by Arkhangelskgeologia and is planning to drill several new wells to develop these additional fields. The Polar Lights' license area is located in the Nenets Autonomous District in the Timan-Pechora region, about 125 kilometers south of the Barents Sea, above the Arctic Circle and west of the Ural Mountains.
17. Transportation of oil from Arkhangelsk by sea is handled by ROSNEFT-Arkhangelsknefteprodukt. The company has several petroleum storage stations along the railways and the export terminal in the port. Tyumen Oil will own 51 % of Urals Oil and the Sverdlovsk regional government will hold 49 %. Urals Oil was registered on June 5. Tyumen Oil will consider the possibility of building a refinery in the Sverdlovsk region, and plans to conduct an initial study on the project's feasibility.
Tyumen Oil, established in 1995and owned by the Russian Alfa Group and US-Russian Access/Renova, has proven crude oil reserves of more than 8.2 bn barrels and produces more than 800,000 bpd of crude oil. Lukoil president to conduct negotiations in Baghdad
On Wednesday President of the LUKOIL company Vagit Alekperov intends to have a number of meetings with representatives of the Iraqi Oil Ministry to discuss with them plans for cooperation, the company's spokesman said.
As the newspaper Al-Iqtisadiyah reported earlier, the aim of Alekperov's visit to Baghdad is "to enliven the contract for developing the West Qurna-2 oil deposit, which was annulled in the last few months of Hussein's rule.
Mr. Alekperov believes that the contract worth of $3.7 billion is still in force, though the present Iraqi leadership has not yet decided whether to recognise it or not and on what conditions.
"Our contract is in force, and we hope to reach mutual understanding on the date of its fulfillment," Al-Iqtisadiyah quotes Alekperov as saying.
The contract for the development of the West Qurna-2 deposit was signed by the Russian company in the middle of the 1990s. However, at the beginning of 2003 Baghdad said that it annulled it because the LUKOIL was not fulfilling its commitments.
In their turn, representatives of the Russian company asserted that they could not fulfil it because of the United Nations' economic sanctions against Iraq that existed at that time.

Well because the day traders that buy and sell sometimes 4,5 times a day. Don't forget that if you buy for ex: 1000000 and 5 min later you sell it that counts as 2000000 that's how you get high volume.

I hope no one gets hurt by the storm in the gulf. Maybe we will get lucky and it will fizzle out some before it makes land-fall. That being said, from a purely financial point of view, the less oil coming out of the gulf, the more valuable foreign oil supplies become.

iwearpro.. I myself broke my own rules of trading because rick said he was buying more at 11 or 12 or whatever. I never buy any pinky to hold more then a day, ususally I hold it for 20 minutes, maybe overnight. Otherwise, I'm in and out fast for 20-40%...

Speculation/potential. News should be coming soon clarifying their Russian deal and potential revenues. Doesnt take much to move this puppy. As for rick, he has made clear his trading strategy in a number of posts here and elsewhere. You have to buy/sell for reasons that are sound for you. Jupiter is just North of West Palm Beach and I'm getting ready to go to Home Depot to buy plywood and I'll propably start boarding up my house tomorrow. I emailed TWOG about the web page not working and if they were going to keep us up to date on the coming events. I got a response early this morning from Robert Needham saying that they are in the process of building a new one and that a deal has been done and there will be keeping us posted as production gears up. To be honest with all of you I personally din't think that I would get a response at all. I'm very impressed that I got a response within a couple of hours that tells me alot about a Co.

That is a good reponse. I hope that the web page is changed, the AKOL page is a little outdated. Do you remember a company press release sometime last year where AKOL was supposed to enter into a contract with an oil company drilling in the caribbean? I have not heard anything about that since it was posted. I've read posts on a different site where there was talk about the company being a scam. I have always had confidence that TWOG would eventually move up. Maybe now it will.

Their press release stated that it was on the recomendation of a share holder for the name change. They were no longer involved in oil exploration in Alaska and the shift was to Russia so the name was changed to Transworld. It makes sense.

Looks like we have reached bottom. Doubt we will be moving any lower. The loose hands have been taken out, and selling volume has decreased over the last few sessions.
Once PR hits and website is up and running we will see a nice sustained run. Not many shares available for sale at this price, so load up while you can.
Just my opinion on last the action we have seen in the last 10 sessions. Not much DD out there but risk/reward worth a look.

Well they emailed me back and said that the web site should be up and running very shortly and that everything else was right on schedule not, to worry everything is on the positive. I'm really not too concerned about the lack of volume because if you look at CNCN in the last six months it had an average volume of less than 25.000/day and then it ran up to .16 in a matter of two weeks.

I hope so. Its been a while and we sure need one. Man TNTG (my so called diamond in the ruff) was doing good today. Its almost unstable.Started at .013 and with a 5 k buy it went to .015 another 5k took it to .017 and then a 10k buy took it to .02 up 53% today. This thing will hit hard next month or so!

Congrats to all the smart money that entered this stock in the last month or so. I guess the co must be on to something with their negotiations. Either way major $$$ will want in tommorow.
People will look for 30-50% on their money so that puts us at a target of .0200 to .0230. More on Wednesday after this hits all the wire shops tomorrow..
Let them bid it up...

Even if it opens at .0140-.0160 there is plenty of room for profit. After the market makers giving us hell for the last few weeks, its going to be nice watching them bleed. No more 10k sell bringing us down 10%....

Are you willing to hold overnight or looking for a quick gain. If we break .0160 I would look for at least mid 2c's on Wednesday.
I guess the co has negotiated a killer deal in Russia with a sizeable break-up fee, and that is the reason for a takover bid. Good Job!!!

Obviously its everyman for himself but,
IMO .0150 is way too cheap. We have already gained almost 70% from yesterday's close, and this might be it for today ONLY... Does this news warrant a higher sp? Absolutely. Nobody is willing to sell at this price and the MM are holding on to their inventory. Friday will be the day to sell with the markets closed on Thanksgiving.

Looks like another great day for TWOG holders.
Buyout must relate to the deal they are negotiating in Russia. Perhaps someone else wants in and is taking them over to avoid paying the break up fee.
The break up fee could be anywhere from 5MM up.. Do the math: 5MM and 80MM OS that puts us at 0.06250 per share. If the break up fee is higher you figure it out...
Just my take on how all the news ties together....
