My proposal is that I will pick a stock that has not traded for two days that isn't a dog, but just hasn't been played for two days or longer... We will then all get in and sell when u want, but that way we all start off at block A together.... what do ya'll think?

It almost always works the first time and usually the second time, but after that.... Honestly, everone sees the huge gains and get greedy. Then a small group forms that buys a stock the day before and announces it to the entire group the next day selling off as people are still buying.
I'm in for the first one cause I know it works but good luck if you plan to make this a weekly thing.

Here is the thing with these group picks. First off, they do work. Just matters how your group is set up. For Momo it worked cause his group sold to us. So they all made money.
Here was his biggest problem.
1)Argued back, when the bashers came. Should have just ignored them. He just gave them more fuel for the fire.
2) Picks came to often. He should have known that would be people without cleared funds, rendering 50% of his support useless. Should have run 2 a week.
3) A bad pick. ALLC is a good Co with good product, but a huge Float. Not as easy to move as one with alot less.
4)BXTRR was way too big. People expected too much. After 1000% people expect too much.
I say what we do is, wait for Ktrain to release his first runner of the morning and we all jump on for the ride. As long as it has some news of course. Kind of hard to get people to buy a pick with no news for the last few months, such as in ALLCs' case.

When something is already moving, you have alot of folks ahead of you that are willing to sell. That might not be the smartest thing when it comes to group buys.

I agree with most here.. group picks are the easiest way to lose your $........
If you would notice with my picks, I actually dd them for days ahead of time. I check out the charts, sec filings, etc.... I will only post a pick that I believe has potential..... and I tell you why I think it has the potential. They do not run up 10 minutes after I post them, but they ususally take anywhere from a few to many days to get there. I continually look for the stocks that are at the bottom and are turning around and heading up! I know that some of my picks have been less than stellar, however, more than a few have been big gainers.....These are penny stocks which equals huge risks by default... the trick is to learn how to play them. I like to find the stocks that I can get 30% or more return.... If I can get that once or twice a month, then I am very happy!
The truth to the matter is to do your own research!
FYI.. I am currently holding 3 stocks.. Qbid, PLNI and PHBT. I have gotten in and out of many others and have numerous on my radar......
The only other tip I would give, is to sell off a part of any position to get your capital out and ride free shares!!!!!!

CLXN has had no news in over a month. There should be at least a PR that can be pushed or or alluded to to get the run and hype going. Prime example was BXTRR...even though the PR related to the parent company...MoMo covinced people it was the same company. And BXTRR ran like crazy.
Take UNQT....relatively low float....moves on buys.....lotta news out today. Sounds like one that is primed for a group grope as well. Gotta have a recent PR that can be quickly looked at in a cursory manner to re-assure people before they throw money in. IMO

There is a thread dedicated to PLNI...... My thoughts are all there. There are rumors of news coming soon about acquisitions. I would hope to get an update as well about current activities or big projects. How do you know its not group plays? Why because you dont see it posted on other boards? lol Bearclaw CNES was a pump and dump and your bag holding now. If we try our best to flush these thugs out we will all be better for it. Try hard not to attack each other now. I know how it feels to be taken for a walk by a thief. But to attack each other after the fact isn't helpful. Go have a few brews and consider it a valuable lesson. I considered it expensive tuition as I started playing penny's. I only see three ways to play.
1. Play runners...Have to be fast and get in and get out. Buy low sell high that day. Sometimes you may find a two or three day runner. Take your winnings or take your losses and move to another. I play these once in a while and only the ones mentioned by Ktrain, Lil and Fatheroftwo. I learned these were good folks, not that there aren't others,I just prefer these three.
2. Hold long. I only have two of those QBID and Cnes. I have not found any other possible longs that I like other than those two,the reason is also...#3
3. Swing trade. That's where you get to know a stock inside and out and then swing it. I do this with QBID and hope to do it with CNES. The other stocks I swing are a PPS of $2.00 to $4.00. I play Nortel, Lucent and SIRI which is now over $5.00
I'm telling you this because not everyone can play runners, longs or swing. You have to find what fits you, then do your DD thoroughly and know what you are doing. LOL MOMO. CNES might not be the best of the stocks, but it atleast have lots of DD behind its pumping or dumping.
Show me one good reason why your picks spiked 100% or 300% or 1300%, if not for pump and dump. You didnt post one good reason why they are going to go up, other than saying they are going to gap a big time. Yes, to make picks is not an easy task and I agree with that and I am not good at that either, I am just a beginner and I am very happy to say that I am just learning and falling prey to some cons and again learning from that.. on and on..

CNES has news almost everyday and its down 400% from when bearclaw and chopper got in. CNES was go for 150% and thats when it ran to .004 and fell back down why? If you see a high gainer its because the peopel that are in are doing the right thing not selling. Why sell low when you can hold and sell high. Its ok I just started my own group. here is my take...for what its worth... all stocks is its own group. seems to me to be a pretty good group of people. i don't sse one leader just a few that spot some good picks once in a while. if all stocks wanted to try a group pick just let ktrain, glassman, lil, and f.o.t. or one of them make a pick. they could each have there turn and call it "their pick". they could trade of week in and week out. if one of them showed up monday and said here is my pick with my d.d., i bet the whole board would jump on it...yes someone would most likely get stuck holding the bag but i think most people could atleast make a few beans...and maybe the people that got stuck could get in first the next time? its all a roll of the dice. but it sucks to see an outsider show up and pump and dump. iwould follow the leaders that are already here.
if this board got in behind one of ktrains picks in full force it would at least be neat to see how it could play out...

Hey,
You can't save people they have to earn it themselves. At first they will praise you for this. As soon as someone gets caught holding the bag. They will cusre you and complain how you made them lose their money. Then you will feel bad about this too.
Just a suggestion why not pick some plays that their charts look really good and then tell people about it them. Everyone can help with the DD and research. They can then decide if they will buy or not and be responsible for their own actions.

I wrote this on another thread. Whether it be a organized group or just a Allstocks group play, the rules are the same. They Start out great and because some either get greedy(not really a good word its your money) or got burnt. The next play always starts falling apart from the play before. We have seen it on the group plays since Friday. Notice if what I said below isn't already happening. Nothing against groups but they just don't hold up long.

Were here is why. In the first pick someone bought at .13 and got burnt. Even the ones that bought in anywhere after .08 problem got caught holding the bag. So there peeved. The next play they get in early but then leave early causing the run to slow down faster the the first pick. Well, these that ended up holding the bags this time will want out earilier in the next round. In turn each new round the stock has shorter runs. Bashing starts at a huge pace. Personal attacks start and the group falls apart. This has happened over and over again on this board. those that have been around know.

In all seriousness. I don't blame him, nor were his picks bad. He just got greedy. If he had waited atleast a couple of days in between picks we'd all still made some money. I bet helf of us were not even able to buy, do to not having cleared funds or what not. I know this was a trouble alot of the groups had before. So while BXTRR had a say 100 buyers, his next three only had abour 20 a piece. He should have been smarter. Got too greedy if you ask me.

You were on my Jock when it was going back everyone go back and read the post from todays PM pick and see what he said when he first got in on the pick. Not my fault you are a bagholder or took a lost. Thats the risk you take when 500 people just bought into a stock with you. Its not my fault you pressed Submit on your 50 dollar order of thhe stock and you lost 49 bucks after you sold minus commision. Your a small fry compared to me and alot of investors. If you had enough funds you would not be bitching about a little 3% lost. Beat it and make your own damm picks if you don't want to play mine.

I play runners,(in pennies...movers in big/mid boards), I post 'em when I see 'em, AND when I'm in/out.....plain and simple...NEVER follow me..follow your OWN insticncts....I learned from Dardadog and Ktrain.....it's that simple....I don't always play their picks, unless I 'see' them my way....it's a personal preference.....GL in your trading and be careful out there, it's a dog eat dog world......simple....

This is some petty talk here. Anyone who has been here more than a month knows just how formulaic this is: someone picks a stock, it shows up huge gains, and suddenly everyone deifies him. Subsequent picks don't do as well, and after two or three - maybe four - the whole project tanks, and that same guy who picked the gainer gets his teeth kicked in by those who were just previously begging him to post more picks.
I'm not defending Momo, per se, and I'm not pointing the finger at any one person - I'm just noting that this kind of thing is cyclical. Stick around and you'll see a whole new crop of posters (most with less than 20 posts) fall victim to badly timed trades on runners or P&D schemes. But here is the ugliest part: "Go back to your pathetic little life as a floor manager" - what the hell is that, emdoc? Few people deserve to be the object of that kind of talk, whether they're arrogant, insulting, or whatever.
There will always be individuals making picks: some do it often and well (e.g., Ktrain) for runners and generally have the common good in mind. Others post picks that are volatile, and people get burned. Observe both, take positions when and if you think it will benefit you, and don't look to anyone but your DD and discernment for an exit point. Now that the character attacks are over, let's go back to stocks.
