I hope this is not out of line me asking this but I am very curious on how much you can really make doing this. I only make about 1k a month. All comments welcome....

This is an extremely tough question because daytraders do not have a set amount of how much they make it varies all the time they might make 10k one month but lose 5k the following month.
With me personally if you take the beginning of January up till the first week of March(9weeks) I averaged approx. 1217.65 per week now some weeks were better than others and I am sure that amount will change as time goes on.

FIND A SYSTEM THAT WORKS, CUSTOMIZE IT ACCORDING TO YOUR FINANCIAL SITUATION, TEST IT. IF IT WORKS, THEN STICK WITH IT.
TAKING SMALL PROFITS IS BETTER THEN "HOPING" FOR THE BIG ONE.
IN 2004, I CONSISTANTLY MADE $1300-2000 A WEEK.

My advice... and from personal experience... get in and get out!!!
Never hold a penny for a long period... some may make it but most don't... and your money could be tied up for years... take your profits and move on.
If you have a company that you like... just buy and sell... buy and sell...

ACTUALLY NO. MY SYSTEM CAN WORK WITH ANY STOCK. EVENTUALLY IF YOU DON'T PLAY PENNIES RIGHT AND YOU "HOLD", YOU WILL LOSE ALL YOU GOT.

Investor how long after you buy a penny stock do you feel you should sell. Seems like you dont like to hold... now for me if i bought a stock as a runner and i look around and see people say it was a group pick i would get in and get out. But if a pick has momo and it doesnt seem to be the works of a group whats wrong with holding. I hels CNES for two days and then sold took profit...

To make a few hundred a week or more, about how much are you trading on? I started with about $2,500 last April and have been holding pennys long-term. ALMI.OB has gone up 600% and I recently added MOGI.PK and EKWX.PK (a small position) to my portfolio. I realize I can make a lot more if I played the momentum (especially ALMI) but i'm only around for 2 hrs before the close each day. Do most of you who trade for a living play news, swing trade or day trade?
