The charts are starting to turn..... Slow stoch turned up today... Williams %R shows oversold and crossing over (which is one that I use to determine buy in points)
I am getting some more to get ready for a big push next week.... get some now and wait a couple days.... (please remember my call on UNQT & IWWH... I said the charts looked ready to move... both up 100% today!)

I heard the interview and basically this company will help other publically traded companies get to the next level of success and have more awareness.
That's huge itself because other companies will want to do business with VNTN if Venture Net has what they need.
The more they help other companies get going, the more VNTN will move up. I think that is why this stock has been trading more then it did months/years ago.
I changed my limit order to .10 on this one.

If the yearly average volume is 557k currently, I would say having volume averaging 1million+ will keep this pup over .02.
The 20 day average volume is now a little over 2 million so if that changes to over 3-4 million, then the price will get over .03.
My limit is set higher then .02 but I guess everyone has their preference.
Just look at the movement lately. It's not sporatic anymore, it's moving like a normal stock and the company is progressing forward.

That firstPR that you posted is the one that caught my eye.....
This technology is being used/developed for the production of armor for the us military.
If anyone does not know, the next generation of armor (both body peircing and vehicle) are actually made from ceramic composites. They are lighter weight and just as strong as steel. I know this because I actually work with the PhD's that do this! The application of the creamic is actually sprayed onto forms and then fired in the kilns. They do this because they can make it into any shape.
Also, the pentagon recently announced the spending of $4 BILLION to provide armor for vehicles and personnel in Iraq!!!!!!!!

Nice close today.... tomorrow we go up again. The charts are slowly and steadily gaining strength. Note the MACD... when the black line crosses the blue line, then up she will go. This is the best time to buy. The MACD is bottomed out, the stochs just crossed..... this is (WAS) the bottom!
When it is ready.. it will go up fast! The daytraders will take notice of this one real soon and they will all jump on board, sneding it straight up. Patience is the key!

This is great news....I am glad to see it. The potential is HUGE! Pasteurization is required for most juices. When you patent something, you charge a royalty (one time or perpetual) for someone to use your idea. This can provide a real long term income!

Look, all signs point to this thing going at some point. I know it sux... waiting like this, but we run that risk when we put our orders in. If there are other things that are out there where we could make more money... quicker... then take the small hit and get into something better. Personally, I'm not experienced enough to take this into something else with much confidence. At least here I feel CONFIDENT that it will turn around. It's just frustrating that it takes so long.

Will, people are excited here just like you would any penny... for the potential! Look at it! We're at a practical STANDstill... and the pressure is building. There aren't anymore shares left to go around and NO ONE seems to be letting go! I've never been in this position in a stock before. Now I know that you shared with me some of your concerns about the stock... but something is brewing here. I don't know what and maybe we're all gonna lose.. but I don't think so.

You might be correct. It has been my experience though that vloume drives PPS. Something isn't right here, imo. I don't know what it is, but this isn't trading freely. I've seen some negatives with stock, but it has gained and maintained most of those gains since it was first posted on 2/4/05. I believe it was bouncing between .003 / .004, when lil brought to everyone's attention. The quoted float of 52M has almost been traded with a 20 day avg. volume of 2.3M+. I'm not trying to piss on anyone's parade. If anyone has an explanation of why it is trading so poorly, I would like to hear it. Everything points up, but........we never cross the finishline???

I'm new to this board, but have traded a lot of "regular" (non-penny) stocks. Throughout February, VNTN formed a near-perfect symmetrical triangle, with a center-line of 0.005 or 0.006. It broke out on the upside 2 days ago, touched 0.009, and pulled back directly to the center-line.
I've seen this kind of pullback to the center before. IMHO, I suspect that essentially the MMs create a small breakout, sell some shares that they bought at a lower price, then short to shake out a few weak hands, buy more shares during the pullback (again at a profit), and then the price finally takes off. So I'm not worried a bit.

lad, I don't believe it is a "group thing". Not enough volume and it has held too long above .003 / .004. My earlier post questioning, what the problem is, was sincere. I see no reason for this to be trading like this unless it is being manipulated. I wasn't being negative, just asking a legitimate question. Oh the problem was that I already had a sell order in... and what I should have been doing was modifying the existing order (as opposed to creating a new one). So it was recognizing my share count because all those shares were already wrapped up in another sell order (.015).
So all I needed to do was adjust that order. Which hasn't seem to make a difference by the way. I thought I'd try and bait them out lol... oh well.

Hey Dap, I haven't been doing this that long myself. Or that effectively for that matter as I am a bit down right now. HOWEVER, I would be glad to answer your question. As far as VNTN is concerned, you really need to do your own research (you'll hear people call it "DD" ... in other words... due dillagence). Myself, I was in, but I decided I didn't like having everything tied up in it for as long as it appears it's going to take. If I had a larger supply of funds that I could braoden my portfolio with, I would have perhpas kept some in.
On to your question (as best I can... someone correct me if I say the wrong thing here guys). In essence, volume is the "volume" of movement that a stock is having. Specifically if a lot of shares are being bought and sold. So if you look... you can see what the average daily volume is. Then you can also see what todays volume is. If there is a lot of volume on something that rarely gets any... it could be there is some sudden intetrest in stock. That is a potential signal that something good (or bad) could be around the corner. The issue with VNTN is that there isn't that much volume. So while there is supposedly a low float (# of shares traded)... if no one is trading... then the price won't move much.
If anyone else wants to add something... be my guest. I think that is the best layman way of putting it though. Hope this helps! : )

Just for a little education if a stock has low volume it may be hard to get into and even harder to get out of. A lot depends on the price. if a stock is in the .00 range and the volume is only a couple of million you could have touble selling your shares as there needs to be a buyer for every sell now if that same stock was in the 1.00 range then a couple of million would be a good tradeing range and you could most likely sell without any problem. As someone else posted you can see if volume is going way up then their is a lot of sells or buys. You can tell which way by the way the price is moving ( most of the time anyway LOL )

Ok I bought this at .0068 and have lost foty percent since. I kinda wish I didnt buy this one and a few other like CNCW and RGTV. Anyhow does any think VNTN will go back up so I can get my moneys back? I think it might so Im holding on for now

Don't be too worried. This is a low volume stock. A few buys or sells and the price really moves. If a few people buy the price will jump up fast.

I bought this stock at .008 and the second i did it went down to .005. I have been waiting at least a month for this to go back up to even the .007 range so i can break even.
